Worst Zombie movie ever, very disappointed. The white horse theory is stupid; Zombie should of focused more on Michael and not his "wife"! Her part in this movie was stupid. You hardly ever heard the Halloween theme music also MICHAEL DOES NOT MAKE NOISES WHILE KILLING!!! They had him grunting while killing and eating a dog. It showed Michael's face, it showed him with a beard it showed him traveling it's just not classic "Michael" and that's what we all love Sorry Zombie I'm a huge fan but you bombed on this one I know Sherri Moon is your wife but she had no place in this movie so are we to expect a spin off with Michael's sister, Angel (Boo)! If so, keep it scary think Exorcist scary instead of just a little gore

I think the best part of the picture was the part of Laurie Strode played by Scout Taylor Compton. She was amazing. She really showed the audience how it felt to have nightmares of a serial killer, hallucinations, and the terror involved with being chased and/or stalked by Micheal Myers. Creepy!

I thought this movie was fantastic. You can't really compare it to the other original Halloween movies, but I think that's what makes this one special. Time for something new, and that is definitely what you get. Rob Zombie is brilliant. In the first one that Rob Zombie directed I wasn't happy about the size of the guy playing Michael Myers, but now I'm understanding why he chose someone so big. The ending had me in awe. Great Job! I enjoyed this one more than any of the original titles.

Michael's face is shown way too much.
The Halloween theme barely even plays in this one.
The story line is so out there and ridiculous, it's not even believable anymore.
Michael grunts and make sounds he's not known for making.
Jamie Lloyd dies, the last veteran of the series Danielle Harris is now no more.
Michael dies by stab wounds when he's gotten much worse in the past, isn't this an oxy moron anyway.
The main characters are basically white trash now.
There are certain parts and characters that almost seem to be fill in material, but just plain dumb.
Laurie Strode leaves nothing to be desired and just ends the film in a weird way.

At first I thought it would just be a remake, but the story was approached differently and told in a way that just made me want more! Rob added his own interpretation to it which made it awesome. I'll be honest I don't like Rob Zombies movies, never did. But the work he did on Halloween 1 & 2 left me wanting to see more of his work.
Also, I think the movie should be left the way it is. No sequal, no "twist", just leave it there. Even though Hollwood would probably want to make more money on it, the story would be perfect I they left the way it is.

Rob Zombie has done it. He has cured me of my incessant urge to see this type of move with the hope that something unique and creative will appear. Nothing here but a crazed, satanic killer slashing and grunting his way through this movie "jumping out" at live bodies from a few feet away (they never seem to see him - even in wide open spaces) & hacking away at them until they are no longer live bodies. There is simply nothing here but blood spatter combined with incomprehensible leaps of logic. Boring trash. I'm cured! No more will I spend time & money on this waste of both.

This movie was not good at all. I'm a huge horror fan but this movie wasn't scary at all. I had no point at all. They put too much in the killing. At one point i started laughing during the killing because it was funny. But i wouldn't recommend this movie to no one. Zombie is just a genius. This is NOT a remake, this is a completely different vision of what happens after. This movie had me jumping out of my seat in so many parts. The glimpse Zombie gives you of Mike's head is creepy.

I have been waiting months to see this movie. I am a long time fan of the michael Myers movies and loved every one of them. I saw rob zoombies first movie remake and thought it was amazing. I hoped he would keep the movies spirit up but I was shocked. The movie was horrible. Michael Myers is a killing machine. Rob Zombie managed to change this movie into some kind of satanic cult. And for what? To make sure his wife was in the movie again? I am so dissapointed I am never goin to watch these films again. What a dud!

This movie was by far the worst movie that I have seen of Rob Zombie's. It was slow and went completely off of how the originals were done. There was 7 people who joined me at the movies and we all agreed that it was awful. I thought the movie would be sold out, but with our group there was a total of 18 people at a Saturday night 7:40pm showing. I guess news travelled fast on how horrible it was.

I am a HUGE horror movie fan, especially the Halloween series. But what Rob Zombie has done to the Halloween series is genius. He has taken it to another level of blood and gore. I am a huge Horror movie Buff. Holloween in particular was and has been one of my favorite of all time. The Original Holloween with Jamie lee curtis still scares me til this day. I could not agree more with some of the previous reviews.This movie was horrible! The grunting and groaning, the showing of his face, What was with the mother and the white horse? Michael Talking? I never heard him say a word in any of the movies, to me that was part of the scare... his silence spoke volumes. That blank stare with those dark eyes...can't get any spookier than that. This was a total waste of my money and time. I am telling all of my friends and family don't waste time or money on this one...you will be VERY Dissapointed!

Well, theres $15.50 I'll never see again! What happenend with this one? I was a little disappointed because the flim was a bit over the top. It did not fit in with the classic micheal myers I have grown to love. Micheal was huge he was never that big in his other films. His killing methods were way over the top to. Laurie looked and acted as if she was on drugs. Most of the characters were just in bad taste in my opinion. I will just have to keep watching my old halloween dvds.

Well i enjoyed Rob's vision on Micheal myers, We got to look inside Micheal's mind regarding why he was obsessed with his sister. He was a bit more brutal in his killikngs, but they were justified killings. I felt the loomis character was a bit over acted and kinda uncalled for.

I am so disappointed. I can't get over the fact that I wasted my money, and more importantly, my time on this dreadful movie. I am a huge Zombie fan, love all his movies, but I hated this movie. The replacement kid was not creepy. Secondly, what's up the mom following him around everywhere?Lastly, they only played the original music one time in the last 2 minutes of the movie, Michael had his mask off way too much, and he grunted and groaned...The real Michael never made a sound because he felt NOTHING when he killed! A very realistic horror film nothing like you've seen before. Zombie did an exceptional job with making it his own. The dream sequences was great and how you could hear Myers breathing in his mask was perfect. Nobody could of done a better job. 2 thumbs way up!

That movie just wan't very good. Only delivered on gore, and a story of Michael Myers should have so much more than just gore. Yeah there were some plot lines that didn't jive, McDowell (sp?) completely over acted, and I missed the original young Michael but understand y he had to be replaced I enjoyed it. Michael in this film was soo violent and grunted and gowled which I liked. For a fun horror movie (especially with the "stuff" coming out lately) I say see it. Its a fun trip down Micheal Myers lane and a fun trip while yer at it!!

This movie did not relate in any way to the former Halloween movies. I know that it's a remake, but they had too much going on. It tried to change the whole concept of Michael Myers and I just didn't like that.

First, I like ROB ZOMBIES movies, and i liked the last Michael Meyers. This one had good sense of killing BUT it lacked connections... Like how did he get THERE so FAST if these places are SO FAR APART... But it was still held together. Honestly I think the first one was better than this because everything felt "OLD" Like the styles in some areas were so similar or predictable... Which for a HORROR man such as myself kind sucks. But, Its still very entertaining and it keeps you VERY intrested and its FUNNY as well. So when you go see it JUST set yourself up to have fun with the MOVIE ok =]
