It was'nt the funniest movie of 2009. But Vince Vaughn did not do that good the season. It needs a upgrade.

I am pretty easy to please as all I want in a movie is a little distraction from reality and a bit of entertainment. "Couples Retreat" is a total waste of time. You will be on your deathbed someday wishing you could get that 1Hour 47Minutes back !! Hopefully the popcorn was good, the A/C temperature was comfortable and you had a nice nap while those around you were suffering through this mess of a "comedy". I feel pretty sure no sounds of laughter would wake you from your slumber... PS: **The "resort" (the St Regis in Bora Bora) was gloriously beautiful. I can only hope they don't allow annoying couples like these to set foot on the island.... Just my .02 cents. RAS

There really isn't anything wrong with this movie; it's just that it wasn't as funny as I hoped it would be. It has been about a month since we saw it, and I can't remember much from it, or any of the other actors besides Vince Vaughn.

Pretty funny movie! Loved the actors they worked very well together. Vince was not quite as funny in this film as in his past fils but it was still quite entertaining.
