My husband I went together - good married couples date movie. Not the funniest movie we have ever seen, but definitely some really good laughs. At least we didn't feel like we wasted 2 hours of our time, which we have at some other movies. Vince Vaughn was funny, true, but we thought that all of the actors contributed to the movie - even though we are not huge fans of a few of the actors, the cast was a great pick. Go see this movie for some good laughs.

First let me say that my girlfriend enjoyed the movie more than I did, but I did feel it was entertaining. I do recommend it, as Vince Vaughn is at his best! Some of the couple issues, you can probably identify with or, at least, know of a couple who has the same issues. Overall, the meat of the story was satisfying and the humor was pretty funny. 4 stars is about right (better than average).

I expected more laughs out of this movie with Vinnie Vaughn in it. The first 20 minutes is OK, the middle is stagnant and boring, and the last 20 minutes is OK. The ending feels scripted and rushed as you get the ending that you expect. Nothing new here, and not much to laugh about. This movie seemed phoned in and I wish I just rented it.

Couples Retreat is no Wedding Crashers. Couples Retreat is a perfect example for a Vince Vaughn to choose his next project(s) very carefully. So far, since Wedding Crashers, he has been striking out big time. I know the money must be fantastic, however, he had better start to hire better writers. Fun movie for ADULTS ONLY....Vince was funny funny. PG-13, I believe it is a little too low of a rating. The "content" sure has a large range these days.
In this movie a bare bottom wasn't the problem, it was the "er" and male stim scene that made the rating for this movie a question for me. ( this site will not let me write the words to alert parents...)
Like I stated, ADULT movie not a 13 year old movie at all, even with parental guidance. I would have been quit uncomfortable with a teen daughter or son watching.
