I laughed myself stupid throughout this, and I'm a grown up - or at least my age tells me so! Even my husband, who came with me under duress, thought it was "very funny". The characters are very strong - the bad guy (Gru) has a heart, the orphans are adorable and I just want to take all the Minions home with me. Oh, and the dog (Kyle) is fabulous! It also has a really fun soundtrack, including some great tracks from Pharrell that I shall be downloading from iTunes. I don't think I have enjoyed a comedy quite so much in a long time, even if it is a kid-flick.

Despicable me movie was good and would recommend seeing it with your child(s). However, I though that if you purchase ticket online you would not have to wait in line. I was wrong, I had to wait in line to get the tickets. Movie Ticket should look into printing out the ticket via online and consumer just walk right in to the movie.

Took my 6 & 8 y/o. They loved it from beginning to end. Clean, funny, cute. Not for older children but for parents, grandparents and young ones it is good. Not so sure the 3D is worth the money. Save the extra and see the regular show, it is just as funny.

As an animation movie I really enjoyed Despicable Me. The story of the movie is clearly for kids however as it never really rounds out the characters the way other animation movies like Toy Story did. Still fun if you like slapstick, and kids will love the "minions". I enjoyed it and would suggest it to anyone with a family!

I took my eight-year-old son to this movie while my six-year-old stayed home (he had no desire to see it). I think my youngest may have been on to something. Although I'm glad we went, it won't be making it into our DVD collection. I have a hard time understanding what the people giving it glowing reviews were watching. There is no "depth" to the characters. The plot is very weak. It would have been more enjoyable as a 1/2 hour TV show than a full-length feature film.

This was a delightful animated film. It presented values in a way which was not obvious: be kind to the earth, be kind to others. The characters had well developed personalities. This was an enjoyable movie for the family. Do yourself a favor, invest an hour and thirty five minutes of your time for a movie experience you won't forget. This was a cute and funny movie. It will also pull at your heart strings. My wife and I enjoyed this movie and will recommend it to all our friends. Universal...you have a hit on your hands!
