At first, watching the trailers, I didn't think much of the movie. But after watching it last night I have to say the trailers don't do the movie justice.
The minions (little yellow workers) are surprisingly funny and the voice talent is dead-on. Plot was also surprisingly well put together and although you can pretty much guess the ending after the first 20 minutes, they do a great job of bringing everything together.
Great family movie, great date movie, great over-all movie. I would recommend this movie.

Despicable Me is an amazing movie for all ages. It was extremely funny and was the perfect length for movie-goers. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys good humor and loves to laugh. It touched our hearts and I know that anyone who sees it will thoroughly enjoy it as well.

While I went expecting an enjoyable film, I did not expect it to be this good. The humor is there for everyone, from kids to adults (look for the name of the bank) and the animation is wonderful. This is not a slapstick or stupid humor film, but a very good film about a person realizing dreams and living up to expectations. The background on Gru is good, gives depth to the character, and the implied background of the little girls just fills in the spaces perfectly.
A wonderful film all the way around, I look forward to when I can by it and watch it whenever I need a good laugh.

We laughed, we cried, we loved it. Me and hubby and 5 year old son really enjoyed this. It made my heart sing, it was so entertaining , we never knew what to expect, seeing this movie will make you happy.

It was great in 3-d. Love when the minions cackle and laugh, they are hilarious. I thought it was a little crude for younger kids. There were some parts that I would reccommend for 8-9 yr olds.

this is the best movie ever but a little dark for younger kids it shows kids getting shot so good luck with that and than he takes there brains out my kids were crying in the movie so i recommend at least 13 to see this.
