This was a fun movie to watch from beginning to end. Gru is the most endearing cartoon villain to come along in a long time. His accent and delivery are wonderful, as is Jason Siegel's. The music was great as well. The script was very clever, fun for kids and adults.

My kids and I LOVED this movie. It was entertaining on many levels - for adults and children. Both my kids and I laughed (alot), sat on the edge of our seats in suspense (rarely happens for me in a kids movie), and even cried a bit. My Granddaughter really liked it, but she got figgety a few times. She's six but gets bored easily. It's a definite must see for the summer....just not a 5 star movie.

We have 4 boys... since the movie had three little girls in it I was worried about it being too "cutesy." But it wasn't. There were no innuendoes or inappropriate comments/situations. We all loved it!
