DERRICK Comedy made one of the funniest comedies of the year. I was lucky enough to catch the last showing in NYC, but I wish I could see it again.
If you can't find Mystery Team in theaters, then make sure to buy it when it comes out on DVD.

I have been following Derrick comedy since they made videos. I was so excited that I was able to catch the LAST showing in NYC. It was amazing. Too bad It wasn't showing longer, I definitely would've gone to see it again. I just can't wait for the DVD debut in the summer b/c i'll be the one of the first people to buy it and recommend it. If you have a chance to see it, GO!! It is SO funny! Catch your breathe when the movie is done b/c you won't be able to do so during it =D

I've never seen a movie that is so creative and funny, yet deep at the same time. The jokes are the original, and they never reach for laughs. Its both smart and stupidly funny.. You barely catch your breath before you're dying laughing again.
And the fact that these guys wrote it instead of a room full of writers in hollywood makes it that much better. Excellent movie.

Having been exposed very early on to DERRICK from their internet shorts as well as their improv at UCB Theater in NYC, I was psyched to hear that a movie was in the making. Now that I've watched the movie, it exceeded my expectations in various ways. There is the familiar witty, crude humor, but there is also the humor comparable to the Naked Gun series or Hot Shots. The kind of comedy you don't see now-a-days. I would highly recommend this for new as well as old fans of DERRICK and will certainly be seeing this again and again!

The story itself is really funny, but the one liners specifically, are comedy gold. ABSOLUTE. COMEDY. GOLD. Haven't laughed out loud that much in a movie in a loooong time.
Honestly this movie is too good to be kept to yourself. Go see it. Then make your friends go see it. Let's support independent projects so that we get to enjoy more of them in the future.

Similar to Napoleon Dynamite in that it's a quirky, low-budget, indie comedy that's poised to be the biggest hit out of nowhere this year. Dissimilar to Napoleon Dynamite in that it's hilarious throughout, packed full of laugh-out-loud moments and fun. If it doesn't get mass distribution, which it definitely deserves, it will be a huge cult hit on video.
