This is one of the funniest movie I've seen in a long long time (including all the hyped hollywood comedies of the past few years). I may have been a DERRICK comedy fan, but even my girlfriend, who hasn't seen any of their videos and was completely indifferent to the movie going in, laugh hysterically and said it was funnier than most hollywood comedies. Derrick Comedy's first film outing is a smashing success. It is cute and innocent while concurrently being dark and dirty -- if you saw the film, you'd understand. Most importantly, it feels really fresh; it's not just a series of skits linked together, but a well-paced, cohesive feature film that had me cracking up both times I saw it in theaters. Way to go Derrick, keep it up.

I hoped this would be funny but it was far, far funnier than I thought it would be. There was a lot of genuine, from-the-gut laughter in the theater, and my friend and I were doubled over for probably half the film. Pretty genius, especially for a first film outing. We went to see it last night and have been texting each other hilarious quotes from the movie ever since (e.g. "Uh...sir, please stay out of my affairs" and "Sometimes I wish you hadn't beat that cancer.") I'm actually excited for this to come out on DVD so I can own and watch it over and over again. Team Derrick all the way!

These three guys that comprise mystery team are absolutely adorable, and it's impossible not to double over laughing at their antics in this wonderfully unique coming-of-age story. Watch as the boys experience their first pant-tents together...it's quite moving. There were a few scenes that were extremely cringe-worthy, but as a whole the movie is awesome. Having met Donald after the showing, I was surprised at how different he is from Jason, the character he plays in the movie. Truly, that man is a good actor! So yeah...go watch it. For real.

This movie was hilarious! Best comedy I've seen this year! Non-stop laughs, and the plot wasn't formulaic at all, it was new and funny. If you like the style of the Derrick Comedy shorts from these guys, you will love this movie. Donald Glover shines as the lead, he also composed the music for the film and the trailer, as well as sharing writing credits with the other leads. The supporting cast does not let him down either, every actor is believable. Go see this movie as soon as possible!!!
