The movie definetly had some boring parts but I stayed awake the whole 2hrs and 13 mins, meaning it's worth watching at least once. I probably won't buy the DVD at reguler price if I buy it at all. The best part is how it all comes together in the end, sort of like the movie Chaos. The Ending is GREAT, BUT Please don't bring your kids to see this. I saw quite a few families in the crowd despite the MPAA Rating.

This movie had all the ingredients except decent writing and directing. The implausible ending was so foolish and amateurish, my wife and I almost felt like asking for our money back. I feel sorry for Wesley Snipes and Don Cheadle for choosing to participate in such racist, yes, RACIST propoganda. Give us a break with the black stereotypes already. Cheadle's turn at the end was ridiculous, as if even decent ambitious black men harbor murderous rage just below the surface. Warning to all conscious people: You will be offended.

Brooklyn's Finest has a great cast and great acting but sub-par writing. This movie's concept was reminiscent of Crash (because it followed three different police officers), except for the fact that it didn't all come together as one story strongly at the end. It really cast the NYPD in a bad light, because there wasn't an ideal police officer in the whole movie. It also made me never want to leave Manhattan to venture into Brooklyn again. It is entertaining, but worth waiting for it to come OnDemand/Blu-Ray.

This movie is in the tradition of "The Deer Hunter". It had crossovers & plot twists reminiscent of "Crash" as well. The character development and story line were outstanding. My only caveat is that this is a very violent and heartbreaking movie.

I was so geeked because anything with Don Cheadle gets me going but I wound up a little disappointed. It was just ok. Had some unexpected twists but it could have been alot better. From Antoine Fuqua I expected so much more.....I mean he directed "Training Day". I would recommend it to friends just because the actors are great but it was really just ok.

Wesley Snipes should have passed on this role b/c he could never outdo his "Nino Brown" role as badass drug dealer and why should he? This was a disappointment after all of the talk show hype promoting the movie. I didn't feel anything throughout the entire movie and that's a waste of 2:05hr I cannot get back. This was a very disappointing movie. For months the previews have created high expectations for the film, and once you see it, you're left saying to yourself "what was that?". I have to admit that when I saw Don Cheadle, Wesley Snipes, and Ethan Hawke in this movie, I thought it'd be great, but another Training Day movie (especially with Antwone Fuqua directing). Now you did get a boiler plate cop/drug dealer movie, but there were some funny and talking point moments in the film worth noting. Pay attention to the very first exchange in the movie, because it's what the whole movie is based on. Pay attention to the ending, because while it was over the top, and situationaly deplorable, it contained the funniest one-liner in the movie. If you are a fan of any of the actors in the film, you should go see it. Otherwise, you can wait for the DVD.

wow I'm still amazed how they could show the good previews for the movie, then once you go see it you're thinking to your self damn $10.5 wonder if i can get that back. and don't let you be done paid for someone else seat then you want your monies back from them also ...lol

It was a combination of training day and crash. It was good but I was a little disappointing as well. I could have waited for it to come out of DVD.

With such great actors it could have been better. It was so much hype for Wesley Snipes he was GARBAGE...I love Don and Richard and Ethan was great he played that greedy cop.
