The story of Bella and Edward continues in this amazing second installment to the Twilight Saga. The conversion from book to movie was skillfully done with little deviation from the story line. The acting and film making is FAR superior to the first movie. I want to see it again already!

I should have listened to reviews from the critics. This movie was not worth the money! all i wanted to do through the whole movie was sleep!
You would think they would put more emotion besides EMO expressions throughout the movie. Kuods for who ever liked the movie but for me it was a waste of money! If you want to see a good movie and a little heart sobing movie go see The Kite Runner, It far exeeds this !

It was great! The movie was long, but did relate very well to the book. However it is a little slow, so don't bring children.

New Moon was even better than Twilight! I can't explain how grateful I am to Chris Weitz and all the cast for making this movie reach it's full potential. And of course, Taylor Lautner played Jacob better than anyone else could possibly hope to. I was on Team Edward before, but now I have to admit that for this movie at least, I'm for Team Jacob! He was a better friend to Bella in the movie than in the book and it made the movie not as depressing as I had worried it be.
Great job to everyone in New Moon!

If you are a Twilight fan, you are going to LOVE this movie! It will blow your mind its so good! The relationship they built between Bella and Jacob was heart wrenching and finally you really, really felt the all encompassing love between Bella and Edward. It was so incredibly good that when my first movie was over, I made arrangements for my son to be babysat and I went and bought tixs to the next showing! Twice in the same day! That's saying something about the caliber of this movie. I adored it! I highly, highly, highly recommend this film!

It had a lot more in it from the book than the first movie, but the characters of Edward and Bella seemed off still. They just seem so much more depressing even when they are together! And Kristen Stewart's acting was not very good in this movie. I didn't like how they looked like they were in pain EVERY time they kissed. And there is very little of the character's personalities shown except that Jacob was close and Alice was pretty good. I'm a big fan of the Twilight series novels, but these movies are not what I had expected from such great story lines. New Moon is an improvement from Twilight, but still not a 5 star movie by all means. Save your money and wait until it in in Red Box.

Stayed true to the book even with leaving some stuff out. Acting seemed to be better from the main characters and the actor playing Jake was very good and improved!
The look and feel of the movie was a much better representation of the book...job well done.
Hope it's the same director for the next 2 movies!

I was very pleased with New Moon and it lived up to my every expectation. The screenplay was much better, the acting superb, and the characters developed very well. Taylor Lautner did a fabulous job and showed incredible depth ... I really felt for him! The photography was beautiful and the film flowed very well. There was only one scene I felt didn't fit, and that was when Aro read Alice's vision of Bella as a vampire ... Edward and Bella running through the woods was pretty cheesy and it didn't depict her being a vampire at all. I would have preferred seeing her tough and beautiful. Otherwise, the film was excellent and I can't wait to watch it again!

This movie is absolutely amazing! I've already seen it twice. The first time I was really impressed w/ the fact that New Moon paid so much respect to the book. I can understand why people would say that the movie is really slow, but that's when you know who has read the books and who is just there because of all the new publicity it's getting. I literally could go back to in time while I was watching the movie and remember how simply fascinated I was while reading those significant pages. It really couldn't have been any better. I am a true Twi-Hard . I recommend this movie to anyone who read the series & liked or disliked New Moon. This movie opened my eyes to how good a book New Moon really was! GO WATCH IT! I can’t wait for June 30th! :D

I think that the movie was what I was expecting. More money was defiantly spent making this movie than the last and you can tell. The only negative thing that I can think of is the fact that when Bella kisses Edward in almost every scene its like she is about to have an "O".and in one scene she actually moans.

the graphics in this movie was un real! the movie turned out way better than i ever imagined! it wouldn't have hurt to made the film a little longer so we could really grasp the relationship between jacob and bella like in the book. i don't think anyone would complain about it being too long =]] most movies are never better than the first but THIS made twilight look like dirt! i'm VERY pleased on how much better it went with the book than the first movie also. overall best movie of the year! congrats!

This was a great movie, specifically for a sequel. I was impressed with how the wolves looked like and the change from human to wolf. I found the decision to make Dakota Fanning as Jane fantastic! This movie was very good and most of all I'm excited to see the last book and how that movie will come into fruition. I love these books. Movies are rarely the same as the book, but New Moon was done very well according to the book. I really enjoyed it and have plans to buy the DVD once it comes out.

Very average--nothing special. If you're over 16, I don't think you'd think too much of it. Definitely appeals to a femaile tween/teen crowd. Everyone else is in for a long haul. Seemed much longer than the two hours it really was. The boys and men in the audience hated the movie. Even my 13-year-old daughter thought some parts were ridiculous. Edward without a shirtr--not pretty. Jacob without a shirt--fine--happens a lot. Wait for the video and rent it.

New Moon stuck closely to the book and the craftsmanship was much better than in Twilight. The action was great, and I would have loved more of it. Taylor Lautner does an excellent job as the lead guy. I went to the show with several people, ranging from tweens to grandmas, and they all loved it, even the one who didn't care for Twilight.

The movie stayed true to the book for the most part, actually this was probably the best part about the movie, it did a much better job than many other books made into movies. One problem that I have with the Twilight movies is Kristen Stewart, I know some will hate on me for this.....but it does'nt seem like she is even acting. If you see interviews of her in real life, she has the exact same mannerisms as Bella has in the Twilight series, and honestly, her acting just isn't that good.
I'll still see all four movies despite this, I just wish they would have found someone with more talent, considering the rest of the cast is in my opinion, way above where she is in her acting skills.

I had heard before the movie was released that a lot of people were annoyed that it was so different than the book - but it really wasn't!! They didn't show Edward more than they did in the book - they just didn't focus on the Bella/Jacob story line as much as they did in the book. I absolutely loved this movie and cannot wait for Exclipse to come out in June!!
For a 2 1/2 hour movie - it felt like an hour! It went by fast - usually I have to get up during the movie to run to the bathroom and I didn't get up once it kept me into it!!

New Moon did an awesome job with their visual effects and keeping to the book as much as possible. Nothing can ever be 100% the same.
I have already seen it twice and it definitely was better the second time round because I was able to pay attention more instead of just being happy that I was there!
I loved the movie and those critics can bite me because it was so much better than a 2/5. I would put it as 5/5!!

Loved it! I hate when movies don't stick to the story line of the book, but this film did a spectacular job of hitting all the key elements. It was a bit choppy at times moving from scene to scene, but that can happen with movies based on really long books. The CGI wolves were awesome and I would totally pay to go see this again. I can't wait for the DVD release.

I loved every second of this movie. I was worried that it wouldn't live up to its hype, but after watching it last night I would say it exceeded my expectations. It flowed with the book much better than twilight did. The ending was a bit odd, but they had to make a transition for eclipse so im ok with it. "Jacob" was hotter than ever, and "Edward" well....he is Hott, but would have been nice for them to get rid of his chest hair...OTHER than that... GREAT MOVIE AND IM READY FOR JUNE 2010

I have read all of the books to the Twilight series, and this movie is very true to the book. Which is very rare in movies. The acting could have been done a little better with the emotions, but it was an excellent movie. And it really makes you wish the thrid movie was out now! I would/will certainly go see it again.

New Moon followed the book more closely than Twilight....Excellent acting by the three leads plus Michael Sheen and Dakota Fanning. Better quality overall especially the action sequences. What a gift to have this series come to life on screen.
