They did a great job in every detail. I read the book first and was pleased with the movie. The acting is better in this movie and there was a lot more excitement. The special effects were awesome.

I expected more from this movie than I expected from Twilight. It didn't let me down completely but I did not feel the connection between Bella and Edward in the beginning of the movie. I felt Kristin Stewart had better acting chops this time around but her counter-part Robert Pattinson's performance left a bit to be desired. I felt there could have been more connections between the characters. The emotion was really lacking this time. It was over quickly and I was left wanting more, which is probably what the director wanted anyway.

I'm 24 and newly married, my wife is a huge fan of the saga and has all 4 books and has seen both movies obviously. I was very skeptical about the whole thing and then decided to be a little more open-minded about it. I watched both movies on back to back days and really enjoyed myself. I finished the Twilight book in 2 days and have just started New Moon. Great movie.

New Moon was great -- the film's cinematography captured the overall dark, mysterious tone of the series. Loved it! Can't wait for Eclipse and Breaking Dawn.

where to begin? the first hour was just boring- nothing happened- all bella did was mope and lead jacob on- he was the only character i felt for- bella was just unbelievably selfish- the guy truly had feelings for her- he does all these things for and she totally leads him on- the dialog was boring and even the music was boring- i love slow music- but for every scene is a little much- and whats with the indian guys not wearing shirts in washington-day, night, in the rain at night- seriously- oh yeah- apparently vampires got over the sunlight thing- it just never phased 'em - if you want a good review on this movie check out -the spoony experiment- he covers it pretty well-

I read the book and, now, watched the movie. I believe New Moow surpassed Twilight in quality (which wouldn't have been hard) and was even better than the book. I like the Twilight saga and can not wait to see what they do with the rest of the series. They truly did a fabulous job on enhancing the story from the book, making it more interesting, and aqdvancing the story for the rest of the movies. Great Job!

Ok, let me get this out of the way. There are lots of the book that aren't included in the movie.
That being said, the movie is well worth the price of admission. The movie itself is visually astounding and beautiful. These young stars do a great job of bringing the characters personal conflict and turmoil to the screen, without going over the top. The symbolism is poignant and meaningful. Though it's not the book, it is the essence of the story and well done at that.

Without reading the books I had no real idea where the plot would go for this one. We all know where it is eventually heading but knowing that there will be at least 4 or 5 of these "Cedric Diggory the hot vampire and his brooding sulky girlfriend" flicks, I was prepared for a third movie set up. Much to my surprise there was at least some unexpected action and limited inside jokes for the non- I was at Barnes and Noble at midnight to get the new "no more Potter books so I guess I settle this now that Ron and Hermione are married" set. Be prepared for Ooo's and Ah's from the tweens (and a few spinster 40 year olds) as the Werewolf character takes off his shirt. Here is to hoping that he eventually kills Cedric like Lord Voldemort did.

This movie was really good. It followed the book a lot better than twilight. Some of the scenes were quite cheesey and some of the acting wasn't very good, but I thought it was better than Twilight. Overall good movie:)

I really liked the special effects in this movie. When Jacob "changes" it is really awesome. Sorry but I think he was the "best" in this chapter.. Bella was really good showing how she felt when Edward left her. I would pay to see this movie again but I can't not wait for it to be on DVD. I will for sure purchase it. Thought the movie was good, I really don't like Kristins acting in this. Bella was not a hesitant wall flower in the books, she had more life to her. Great movie! New Moon was pretty faithful to the book for the most part.
Many things were better than Twilight: better acting, better makeup, all over better feel.
My only complaint was the jumpy/moving camera angles that made me a touch motion sick at times.
But Jacob & Edward can take their shirts off any day!
