I enjoyed this movie very much. It helps to have read the book. This book was the least favorite in the series for me. I would highly recommend reading the book to get a full understanding, though. You won't find the love story that you found in the 1st one - but there is some action which is nice and a great friendship that develops with the Jacob and Bella. Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart did a very good job in this movie.

New Moon was so close to the book. Only the truly unnecessary information was left out. The movie spent less time hanging out with the wolf pack than the book did, which I appreciate because I felt that caused the book to drag a little. Not that I didnt' like it. It just didn't move as quickly as I would have liked. Great action - Great story line - Great character development, and I loved the extra fight scene with Felix. It added more excitement to the climax of the film. I can't wait for Eclipes.

I'm a mother of six and read the books to see if I should allow my two younger girls (13 and 9) to read them. I found the books exciting and with very good messages. The movie New Moon is much better made than the first movie. It also remains quite faithful to the book. I really loved it.

Both myself and my daughter are huge Twilight Saga fans, she more than me, but huge none the less. The movie stayed true to the book, but still left you wanting more at the end. I can't wait till eclipse comes out. I gave this movie my "two thumbs up". A definite must see.

I was looking forward to this movie, but after the last one was a little nervous. But happily surprised. I felt they kept pretty close to the book which is always important when you have read the book, not to lose the story in the movie. I loved the special effects the wolves were amazing!! I was so happy this movie was so enjoyable, because Twilight was a complete let down!!!!! But New Moon redeemed itself and I am very much looking forward to the next one!

The movie was disappointing to me I have read all 4 books and they were great but the new directors comedy portrail of the new moon series ruined the movie for me. I laughed at the camera angles and the differnt faces Edward showed. ALl in all the movie although it followed the book for the most part very fast it was not suppose to be funny and the whole theater laughed from the begining to the end. I hope the next one is better..... Cant wait still a fan at heart.

This movie didn't even come close to comparison to Twilight, I have never been so disappointed. I thought it was very "choppy" & a lot of pertinent things that were in the book were left out. What was w/Bella talking to Alice between every scene?! The music was even bad. I will say on a positive note, that the drama affect was done well as well as the action.

New Moon was AWESOME!!!! I loved it!! The higher budget really made a world of difference!! Even thought I loved Twilight, New Moon was a better picture. It went with the book really good! I've already seen it twice and want to go back!! I can not wait for Eclipse in June and then Breaking Dawn I am sure is going to be unbelieveable!

I really enjoyed New Moon. I thought it stayed closer to the book than the original movie. I also thought the acting was a lot better as well as the special effects. I loved it and my husband really liked it too and we're going to go see it again. It's definately a great movie to see on the big screen.

It was okay. I wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be. Granted I'll see all the films since I read all the books....but I think they aren't worth as much hype as they are getting. Oh well! You'll still find me at the theater for Eclipse! Maybe that will be better.

Took my 16-year old grandson with me to "New Moon". We both loved it! Stayed faithful to the book. Like the book, it seemed to drag in places but that didn't detract from the movie. Some laughter, sighing, and lots of applause from the audience at the end. Wolves were so realistic, Volturi so menacing. I suggest seeing "Twilight" or reading the books before seeing "New Moon"; if not, might be confusing I'd see it again, and I'd recommend it to any "Twilight" fan.

A bit of a slow start, but once it does ~ WOW!
The special effects for the werewolf's & the vampires are rockin'! When the Vulturi come into to play . . . incredible, sit on the edge of your seat excitement!
The story line stays right with the book, and it really leaves you wanting a Team Edjac, it's about impossible to choose between these exotic, freaky, HOT men!
OMG, does this make me a Cougar!?

Chris did an amazing job keeping this movie as close to the book as possible. It was all there. The mood of the book, the feelings of Bella, Jacob and Edward were beautifully done by Kristen, Taylor and Robert. The music fit, the wolfpack was awesome and the Volturi were beautifully eveil.
Will be going back, again and again.

I felt this installment of the saga did a much better job of relaying the characters and emotions to the big screen that the 1st movie did. There was lots of action and suspense. Overall it was a great movie and I will definitely be seeing it again!

This movie was really good. It was hysterical to hear all the teenager girls gasping for air when Jacob takes off his shirt. The wolf transformations were outstanding. Its a must see and don't wait until it comes out on dvd. See it in the theater. Awesome!

I was not into the Twilight Saga until my best friend made me watch it and I have been hooked ever since then. I have read all the books and after reading the books it makes the movies that much better. This one was definitely better than the first and I can't wait to see the rest.

I expected the Cullen's costuming NOT to ADD to the obvious fact the actors are aging. In the first movie, the Cullens "kids" pretty much dressed like teenagers. But in NM, they're all wearing clothes that would make even normal teenagers look old. Why is the ever-stylish Alice Cullen wearing that AWFUL grey/black/white grandma jacket they had her wearing in Italy, & Edward was almost always in a suit - even in Bella's bedroom. Really??? The second detraction was the Cullen's house. Both scenes were shot in the same small, confined basement-type room in complete contrast to the "openess" described in the books. Minor details, but really detracted from the overall experience.
