Unlike the first one, Twilight, this had stuck to the book better. Of course there was going to be scenes that didnt really exist but I think they did pretty good. I loved how the werewolves were shown exactly how i pictured them in my mind, from how they were described in the book. Going to watch it again. No matter what Im team Edward.

OMG, if you love hot guys, great effects, awesome love torn story, and beautiful settings then you will love this movie. I went with my husband (manly man), my mother, 8 year old niece, my cousin and his fiancé. Everyone loved it. I know that only 20% of the movies tickets sold were to men, but it is not a chick flick. Lots of action. My husband loved it. We all loved the wolf pack!

Seen NM 4x and it just gets better & better each time.Amazing acting, exciting 4 all, and satisfying 4 Twihards. I was good with the ending. It makes you want to see more-because you know another movie is coming. Just one thing-Jasper-he inherited a southern accent since Twilight...that was just odd. I loved it! And am going to see it again!

If you have read the series and saw the first movie, I think you will agree that this one does not hit the mark for several reasons. The first is the special effects. No sizzle, just unimpressive shots of Edward and the change of Jake is pretty so-so. The other disappointment was how parts of the book that helped to further character development and understanding of the plot were "glazed over" leaving the reader of the book disappointed and the movie-goer without background stumped.
Other than that, it was an enjoyable film and the two hours seemed like 30 minutes.

This movie was incredible. The special effects were slick - you can tell production budget was much higher. 1000 times better than Twilight. And Kristen Stewart acts very well - the break-up pain felt real - it was edited brillantly. Evokes alot of emotion. I plan to see in theater again!

Thjs movie is soo much better than Twilight. I loved Twilight, but some parts were just goofy and they didn't spend enough money on it. The CGI in New Moon was GREAT! The Wolf Pack was awesome! But what I loved most of all were the three main characters performances.They were spot on and just lovely. I could feel their emotions just jump off the screen. As usual, RP plays a devastatingly beautiful Edward, KS - WONDERFUL Bella and her sad emotions. And Taylor Lautner IS Jacob Black personified! I absolutely LOVED his performance. Just adorable! Yes, his outside transformation is great, but the inside one even MORE so!!
Loved it and will see it many times!
Come on Eclipse and Breaking Dawn!!!!!

I am a huge Twilight fan and did enjoy this movie. I am not a huge Kristin Stewart fan but I thought she did a much better job in New Moon....her devastation was very believable. Overall, New Moon kept me entertained, it followed the book very closely (except for Bella writing to Alice the whole time) and I was happy leaving it. I just thought there were some pretty cheesy moments (Edward running through the woods in a white shirt with the vampire Bella...that could have been cooler). Overall, very good and I will probably go see it again....maybe I will get more out of it the second time!

I really enjoyed this movie. It started with a bit of a variation from the book, and I did feel it went through some of the essential areas of the story a little to quickly, making it hard for someone who hadn't read the book to grasp the full meaning they were trying to portray, but it did follow the story line as best as it could without being a 4 hour long movie. Of course women will enjoy the hot (shirtless) guys, however, the action scenes were great too and my husband even had to admit he liked it. So it's a great movie for everyone!

I thought this movie was an excellent portrayal of Stephanie Myers book, and a worthy sequal to Twilight! All the basic themes and events from the book were just about spot on, and the things that were left out weren't missed. I've heard a lot of people complain about the length of the movie, but if you are a fan and are into the story, it doesn't feel like that long at all. It tells you everything you need to know, and leaves you wanting more from the 3rd movie next year!

I found this movie to be better then the first movie in the series. Although I did find some of the background music that was played made it seem a bit sappy. If you read the book, which I think most adults have that go to it, you will again find it lacking but if you go knowing that the movie version is never as good and your not expecting it to be as good then, like me, you will enjoy it.

This movie was better, much better than the last in the series. There was more meaningful dialogue throughout the movie. I also enjoyed Kristen Stewart much more in this film as the character Bella. My only criticism of the movie is that you really did not feel Bella's pain when Edward leaves. It could have been so much worse, showing scenes of her screaming in the middle of the night does not even begin to cover it.

I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this movie!! I am obsessed with the whole Twilight Saga. I went with four of my friends and we were all totally immersed in the movie! Loved that the characters were more fleshed out; when Bella had her nightmares, I cried for her. Edward was awesome and Jacob was unbelievable. GO SEE IT!!!! Can't wait for Eclipse!!

The movie was a great representation of the book. Most movies depict werewolves as these cheesy and/or grotesque caricatures. New Moon portrayed them as they should be or at least as I imagined while reading.book. Can't wait to go see it again.
