This movie was sooooo much better than Twilight! Taylor Lautner did an awesome job playing Jacob. He is a much better actor than I was expecting. There was so much chemistry going on between Bella and Jacob that I almost switched to team Jacob! I really wish there had been as much chemistry in twilight between Edward and Bella. The special effects were also great. I really loved the wolf fight scenes! I really expected there to be a standing ovation at the end of the movie but I think everyone was too disappointed that the movie ended to cheer! I really hope Chris Weitz gets to direct Breaking Dawn!

I enjoyed Twighlight but was not a great fan of Kristen Stewart for Bella. I was definately sold on her this time around. I have to say that after reading the saga I enjoyed New Moon Much more. It brought you deeper into the story and I think Kristen did much better this time around. they did fabulous work bringing the wolves into the picture they looked the way I pictured them when i was reading New Moon!! Bravo to the cast and Director.. looking forward to Eclipse June 30th!!

New Moon was such a great movie. The action, romance, and suspense was distributed evenly and well throughout the movie. So many great scenes. It is definetly one where you have to see it again and count down the days to the DVD release. Cant way for part 3 in June!

This installation in the Twilight series was even better than the first. I felt the acting definitely improved in most instances (although Robert Pattinson trys too hard for that brooding look at times). If you are a fan of the books, New Moon definitely kept to the book much better than the original Twilight movie. The special effect were pretty good (the wolf transformations were really well done) - you can definitely tell they had more of a budget this time.
I liked the way the triange between Edward, Jacob and Bella was portrayed...even better than in the book.
Very much worth seeing.

...the same as the book. That isn't a surprise though, they can't use the book as a script or the movie would be 2 days long. I love the books, I loved the movie. I can't wait for the next one!

I was really looking forward to this movie and had to wait weeks longer than everyone else to see it because I was out of town. I have read all of the books and think they did a great job following the story. The movie was also visually stunning!!!! Especially loved the scenes with Victoria and the wolves! Too bad she won't be in the next movie :-(

I really loved this movie. It kept true to the book, the effects looked so real. The acting was great (Michael Sheen and Dakota Fanning were Fantastic!!!). Very good movie.

Felt this started where the first movie left off and carried the tale of Bella through her experiences in Fork. Trials, tribulations, new experiences to accept and decisions to be made. Not a normal life but what a great escape from the normal life.

I was so excited to go see this on opening night... But I was a bit disappointed... Some of the acting was lame at best..... I wish it didnt end so badly, not that i mind the cliffhanger, but it was poorly acted and way too abrupt... However, this is one of the best movie that has been in the theaters this year.

I've seen it twice and it was even better the second time. I loved how it followed the book and didn't leave stuff out. The ending was ok, not necessary to have it like a cliffhanger.... Still, absolutely loved it and I highly recommend this movie. you don't need to be a twilighter to enjoy it!

Some good action. Drama ebbed and flowed. Some parts were lost on me, not having seen the first Twilight. Could stand better development of plot and characters. Good entertainment, though. I wouldn't watch again, but I'm glad i saw it.

It hardly had the main characters from the first Twighlight Movie. It mostly had NEW characters in it. But, at the end it brought back the old characters. I did NOT like the ending, though. And, by the sounds of the other movie viewers, nobody in the theater enjoyed the ending, either. Also, it probably needed to be a longer movie. I would STILL recommend this movie, though. I really enjoyed the movie, just not the ending.

Having seen the first movie and loving it, I was terribly disappointed in this sequel. I will with hold all critism until the third movie comes out and the slow plot and sloppy, sapping acting might actually be rescued.
Sorry Fans, but this movie suffered from too much hype and too little direction and dramatic underpinnings. The potential was there but it missed the mark.
