This movie is a wonderful romance. It is lacking a bit in the action department in this particular movie, but makes up for it in other areas.
The chemistry between the two characters, Bella & Edward is breathe taking!

I would absolutely go see this movie over and over again! It followed the
books well, had a little extra action and surprise and dear GOD! who
doesnt want to look a Taylor Lautner all DAY!!!! One of the best movies
ive seen all year and cant wait to own it!! or see Eclipse next summer!

Fabulous movie - even better than the first (despite less Edward Cullen airtime). Great special effects and real chemistry between Taylor L and Kristen S. VERY recommended.

The movie was wonderful. My husband took me to see it for my birthday. He did not see the first one until after he took me to see this but he enjoyed them both which surprised me. I loved the movie I thought it was great. I can't wait until the next one. The whole cast works so well together they really made this movie work.

I'm a fan of the twilight series and although the movies will never be as good as the books, I definitely enjoyed New Moon. In fact, I liked it a bit better than the first movie, Twilight, so I was pleasantly surprised. Two thumbs up from a very young cast working on what was probably a very tight deadline!

jacob is the reason I will buy this bluray. I made the mistake of taking my husband to see this for the second time. Of course the first time I saw it with friends whom have all read the book and we had a fun time, but my husband was groaning and rolling his eyes through the whole thing. He agrees the only redeeming scenes involved the werewolves.

I loved this movie. i saw it twice. For the most part it follows the book. I read all four and can't wait to see Eclipse. I took my mom to see it. She loved it too. She never read any of the books and understands the movie perfectly. Jacob was AMAZING!!! I am going with another friend this weekend to see it again.

I saw this movie with my teenage daughter and we both enjoyed it very much. It did have some scene transition problems, where I thought "huh?", and later my daughter clued me in (she's read all the books) and that helped. It would be better if they were more careful in making the movie, it should stand on its own and not need someone to "fill in the blanks" from having read the book. I did especially like Jacob's character in this movie, I thought he did a fine job. Edward seemed to be lacking some appeal this time, but I think that was intentional, so that Bella could be more easily -- er -- "distracted."

The movie didn't flow well and lacked character development which was so strong in Twilight. Very cheesy scene when the Volturi reads Alice's thoughts. It was like Heidi or something childish. The volturi sequence should have been more in depth and the flow from one segment to the next done with more character insight. If I hadn't read the books, I wouldn't have followed it well. Not horrible but not touching like Twilight. I didn't leave the theatre thinking I have to see it again.

Only good parts were the special effects, the Volturi, the Wolf Pack, Charlie and the Cullen (Emmett, Alice, Rose, Jasper, Carlisle and Esme). A movie hyped up to be amazing, it was good but the acting on certain actors parts is still horrible and lack talent. To me if other people were cast in certain parts, it would be a much improved movie with a definitely better leading actor and actress. For the most part, a good movie.

I thought that New Moon beat Twilight by a mile. I'm a huge fan of the books but the Twilight movie was horrible. New Moon definitely does the books more justice with better quality. Go see it, it won't ruin your perceptions of the story.

The second movie in the Twilight saga was better on every level then the first. The acting had improved on Kristen's part, the visual affects were right on. The director did a great job in following the story line in New Moon. I would recommend it to anyone who is a Twilight fan!

I thought Jacob was a little over the top with acting. But gorgeous so whatev. I wouldn't have wanted them to change the Jacob from the original movie.. So thats good. It's almost like she met the actors and then wrote the story. Each and every one of them fit with there character flawlessly. Kristen Stewart did an AWESOME job as Bella. As did Robert as Edward. All of it was just perfect. I LOVED the books, so I'm proned to love all the movies as well.. & I love the fact that they stick to the script, ya they cut alot out of the movie thats in the book but no one has time to sit threw it all. They did very well summing it up! BRAVOOOOO! (:

Taylor Lautner did a nice job as Jacob. I think direction could have been better considering some of the acting performances (not enough emotion from Kristen Stewart). Was disappointed in many of the musical choices. Was not as engaging as the first movie, but then it is a different kind of story.

I thought the movie really brought the book to life and was visually stunning. I think it helps to have read the books first to fill in some of the gaps but overall a great representation. Really enjoyed Jacob's story but did of course miss seeing alot of Edward. I think this movie would appeal to someone who hasn't read the books as well. Can't wait to see it again!
