Love the intro of the wolves, great take on the transformation, wanted a little more history on the "treaty", but strong characters carried the movie. Would have also enjoyed more info on the "royality" as it were. Bottom line this is a good story, ready for the third!

I have always been Team Edward and will always be Team Edward, BUT this movie almost swayed me. Taylor portrayed Jacob in this movie perfectly! It was gutwrenching to read about his love for Bella, but then to watch it just solidified it even more! Kristen really showed how torn Bella truly was bewteen the two...how can you not be?? They are BEAUTIFUL! I would do more than recommend this to friends, I would go with them to watch it again and again! Can't wait for ECLIPSE!

I loved this movie as much as Twilight. The only thing I preferred in Twilight was the look of the characters. I did not find that the makeup artistry was as natural looking (as far vampires go) They looked more fake in New Moon. Other than that, there was plenty of action, comedy and romance. If you love the books, the variations of the story shouldn't be disappointing to you.

I was disappointed in the film. Yes, it stayed pretty true to the book. It jumped around and the scenes were so short. The Cullen's eyes were CREEPY and not at all the way they were portrayed in Twilight or the books. If you saw them on the street you would be aware they were not normal. The love story between Bella and Edward left so much out. There scenes were too short and I missed the connection they had in Twilight. I know that New Moon is not all about Bella and Edward but their storyline was much better then portrayed in this movie. I would still recommend this movie. I liked Twilight much better.

Definitely better than Twilight, followed the book well. Wish it was a little more detailed into the new developing relationship with Bella and Jacob, like the book.
I love it, saw it 3 times will be going again this week.

I am a huge fan of the books, and I must say the new director did a great job bringing the wolves to life, which are the characters in the book i liked the least. I have to agree with other reviews that I think Jacob steals the entire movie, he was great! However what made this movie a bit disapointing was when Edward leaves Bella, I mean come on it was sooo cheesy. The acting in that scene was terrible and it was a complete let down. That part of the book bought tears to my eyes, and was ment to break your heart, in the movie i felt nothing, and it was such a disapointment. I hope the new director does a better job bringing meaningful scenes together for Ecplise and Breaking Dawn.

my daughter and I went to see this movie we love the Twilight books and also the first movie this movie was much better than the first much more detailed and went right along with the book we loved it it was wonderful now the dreadful wait until Eclipse comes out...

The second installment of the twilight series was a drastic improvement from the first. Strayed from the book, but the major events were there. I strongly recommend seeing this once, if not two or three times! :)

This movie was much better than the first and Twilight was good. It was 2 hours long & not once did I look at my watch. Lots of action and not knowing what was coming next. I loved it and will go see it again. They did an excellent job with this movie. Now the hard part is waiting for the next one to comeout (in June).

I am a totally fan of the Twilight Saga and have read all of the books. Overall I think the movie was amazing...the only down fall is it moves a little fast and too much was cut out of the movie. I think everyone should read the books before going to see the movie, it will completely change how you see what is happening. Great Job creating the saga Stephanie Meyers!

All right, I went in very skeptical of the movie. I liked Twilight, but left unhappy. New Moon was much more true to the book. My boy/girl twins each found something to love about the movie. I can not wait for the next installment!

I was very pleased with the second installment of the Twilight Series. There were only a few strays from the book but the content was there. Much better direction/ action. No disapointments with this film like there was with the first.

The second in the series was definitely better then the first. The new director did an amazing job at getting more of the character. Rob could have been a little more buff though. There was a moment where I was literally biting at my jacket because Jacob told Edward basically Bella was dead. I love the passion that the movie instilled.

New Moon stuck to the book more than Twilight did. They consolidated areas here and there, but for the most part didn't leave too much major dialogue out. I loved it. A lot more action and suspense. I did not leave with a feeling of disappointment like I did with Twilight.

While I thought Twilight was good, I thought New Moon even better. The movie was more polished and artsy than it's predessor. I thought the long drawn out development of Bella and Jacob's relationship tiresome to read. I was so glad the movie cut all that out. It was hard for me to get through it in the book. It makes me want to go ahead and read Eclipse. I thought Dakota Fanning was great in the movie as well as the rest of the cast. Overall, it was very pleasing to the eye and well done. I would recommend you go and see it.

But New Moon is still worth the money... the acting has gotten better, the graphics have gotten better, and the good looking guys have gotten better. lol

Really good movie. Only drawback it went in fast forward mode. It did not seem get into much detail as the book did.
There were some good funny dialect between characters.
Excellent ending--definitely sets the stage for the next saga--Eclispe:)

This movie was incredible way better than twilight in sooo many ways. For one it has a lot of action, suspense,romance, and it stays true to the book, Two, the actors are amazing and they truly display the characters emotions to perfection ^^ , Three they put the main things of the book on the movie which is why its wayy better and exiting than twilight. Overall i thought it was an amazing movie and i would definitely recommend it to everyone i know :D

I loved this movie. Everything about it was spot-on and kept true to the book while making a wonderful movie. I feel like giving Chris Weitz some type of medal for the outstanding job he did; I could not be more grateful to him for staying so true to the book and doing such an amazing job with the movie as a whole. Not to diss the actors/actresses either, because they all--every single one--did completely amazing jobs of bringing their characters--and the emotions of their characters--to life. I loved everything about this movie--the pacing, the overall look, the CGI and special effects and fight sequences, the acting--it was all spectacular and really blew me away. I highly recommend the movie to any Twilight fan.
