Movie was fantastic but ending way too abrupt. Volturi scenes could have been expanded and needed better transition from Italy back to Bella's home.

If you don't like this movie, then you need to read the books. If you don't like the books, don't see the movie. There is obviously a reason you have to buy tickets ahead of time and get to the theater an hour early for good seats...

I loved New Moon. I went hoping that this director did a better job than the last one did with Twilight. I was not disappointed. There was only a couple of things I thought were out of place, but overall it was very good. Great job following the story.

I really liked this movie because it was really faithful to the the book. Twilight was such a huge disappointment in that aspect. This one was well cut & captured the intensisty of the action sequences. Guys will like this move just as much as us girls do. I can't wait to see it again :)

I've read the books, as always, after reading any book, the movie seems to be a fast-forward through it. The writers did, however, seem to highlight the key points. Bella seemed overly-dramatic (more so than in the last movie) and so did Edward. I enjoyed Jacob's light-heartedness. Before this movie came out, I was totally Team Edward. He just doesn't seem good for her, though. Jacob brings out her lighter side. SHe is more 'herself' in this movie with Jacob

I think the director did a great job of keeping the movie in line with the book. I took 8 of us to the midnight premier. We all can't wait for the next movie. Stephanie writes a story that captivates you and keeps you wanting more. I hope the success of the movies and the books will motivate her to write a 5th book.

Having read the books and knowing what a good version of a movie entails, I give New Moon a thumbs up! I think fans of the books will be gratified with this latest cinematic installment. Of course, watching Rob Pattinson do ANYTHING for two hours is personally gratifying, but Team Jacob fans will have their hayday with this film. I'm going to see it again as soon as I have time. This movie captures the complex interactions and attitudes from the book, and the special effects are vastly improved from the first movie- no more hokey running around. Stephenie Meyer should be proud.

I'm new to the whole Twilight phenomenon. I saw the first one in this saga just a couple of months ago. I had high hopes for New Moon but didn't expect much because of past disappointment with other sequels, however, this movie lived up to the hype. I fell in love with the characters all over again. It seemed a tad bit long, but the ending was well worth the wait. There wasn't as much action in this one but I appreciated the time spent on character development (for those of us who have not read the book). Now I can't wait for the 3rd one. Go see it!!!!

I truly applaud Chris Weitz and the cast for creating such a masterpiece. Although Twilight was fantastic, New Moon (and its budget) took the saga to a whole new level. I especially thought the forest chase scenes with Victoria were spectacular! I’m sad Rachel Lefevre will not be in the rest of the films. Seeing the Volturi come to life from my imagination was also wonderful, the casting for this group was spot on. I had very high expectations for this film and it met them.

What an exciting movie! I enjoyed watching the book come alive. The actors were great! The scenes were extraordinary! The computer graphics were believable! The only negative comment I can make is that the movie ended too quickly...I wanted more! I wish they would have left the bedroom scene in the movie, when Bella thinks her whole experience was a dream and Edward has to convince her otherwise.
I can't wait for Eclipse!!!!

I was extremely let down by the content of this 2nd Twilight Series movie - New Moon. The plot just bounced around and was very confusing to the simple-minded. I was unfortunately not impressed with this movie at all whatsoever... and the acting was not up to par by "Bella" either - sorry.

I did not like the movie at all. I thought it was absolutely horrible and a waste of time. I've read the books and enjoy them very much, but the acting is painful to watch. None of the actors lived up to their characters. Scenes that were suppose to be serious either made me cringe it was so bad or had me laughing.
I also thought the movie was rushed and choppy. I honestly don't think i could've followed the movie as well as i did if i hadn't read the book. And why in the world did Jacob have to take off his shirt when Bella got hurt??? That was so unnecessary.
I will not watch eclipse in the theatre. I'll wait til it comes out on dvd.

This was far superior to the first. I think the director really got so much more from the actors. The emotions were so much deeper in New Moon. The special effects were amazing. The scene where we first see the wolves shook the theater. Thank you Chris Weitz, you were great, Can't wait for June. Hope the next director shows us another side of great.

This movie was worlds better than Twilight. Bigger budget, new director, and seemed to me like the acting got a bit better too. I would definitely recommend seeing this to anyone, not just because I'm a fan but because it truly was a good movie! The effects and fight scenes were pretty sweet too, imo ;)
