This Movie was great. It tottally outshined the first on. Better Everything. The ending could be a little different but with Eclipse coming out in June it will draw a better coud. I recomend seeing this until u know every line. Its that good.

all i can say is wow but in a good way! this movie has a little bit of everything such as romance and comedy! i do recommend this to everybody. I LOVE THIS MOVIE AND ALL THE PEOLPE IN IT. team edward all the way but sorry jacob is soooooo HOT!!!!!! go see it dont judge it by its cover. i love twilight and jacob lol.

Of course Jacob is beautiful - and Taylor's acting is the best thing going for this movie. I could have done without the cry-baby soundtrack and Bella's constant pausing during each and everything sentence she speaks. It followed the book pretty well though and was what I expected. Hopefully Kristen & Robert will spend less time trying to be publickly ironic and more time learning how to act for the next 2 films.

I loved the whole thing! It was totally exciting the whole movie! (literally i had goosebumps the whole time! hehe!) Jacob and Edward were so hotttttttttttt! GO TEAM JACOB!!!!! (but i still love Edward!) I definitely LOVED the movie and I would SOOOOOOO recommend it to all of my friends!

I've read all the Twilight books and thought this movie was AWESOME! They could have really overdone the werewolves, but they didn't. There were a few differences from the book, but for the most part it stayed true.

I personally enjoyed this movie. I am concerned about how like to critique things so much. I go to enjoy the telling of a story on the big screen not to critique every little detail. Get over it already. Who cares what the critics think. Do you like the books? Did the movie entertain you? There's absolutely no way to include everything from a book into a movie. I enjoyed the first two movies and I am ready for the third and fourth. This was a great mother-daughter night out movie for my friends and their daughters and well as my daughter and myself. I only wish people could enjoy going to movies instead of looking at every single detail.

I've seen it three times and I can't wait to see it again. And I absolutely love the soundtrack. The music is better than Twilight, directing is better, acting is better, makeup is better and special effects are much, much better. I love New Moon. It's the best book, and so far, the best movie.

the movie followed the book pretty well, but at the same time made me feel WAY different than when I was reading the book. the kissing scenes were awkward between edward and bella... i mean yeah they're supposed to be awkward but did bella really need to pant in such a weird way? all in all the action scenes were awesome. taylor lautner and billy burke did a excellent job acting. the werewolves are smoking hot!!! and with the romance... in the book i am team edward in the movie team jacob :)

Gals, you will like it my wife and our 17 year old daughter liked and thought it was fairly true to the book, which I have no plans of ever reading.

I've read all the twilight books and I loved them I know you can't ever make a movie better than the actual book is but this movie had so much more potential the action was very slow and the movie seemed to drag on and on. I think the first movie was much better. I bought a shirt and made a huge line to watch the movie and was very disapointed.

I liked the first movie. I'll bet the book is really pretty good, but lots of emotion and teen angst just don't really translate to the big screen well. Too many 5 minute shots of someone walking through the woods with a longing look on their face and dramatic music playing. I took a few catnaps through the whole thing.

I think it was a great movie for a book adapation. However, I don't think it would do so well if it was just a free standing movie/series. Those who have read the books go in with different expectations than those who haven't read them. I've heard a lot of "it really lagged in the middle", well for those who have read it they know that is what happens in the book as well. It's all about Bella being in depression and trying to build a friendship with Jacob. Overall, I think it really lived up!

It was closely linked to the book, so that was excellent! It was very well done. The computer graphics for the wolves was great! Tayler was awesome as Jacob. I do miss the emotional intensity of the books though!

Loved the movie and thought it was better than the book, since the book lagged a bit. Full of action and I can't wait to see the movie version of my favorite book, Eclipse. I definitely recommend the movie and will watch it again. I also recommend reading the books first, so you don't miss the underlying story and minor details that the movies aren't able to capture.

Being a huge Twilight fan, I raced to see New Moon only to find myself contrasting the movie to the book the entire time. It was my wife (not a twilight fan) who was raving about the movie while I left feeling a bit disappointed. That changed when I saw it again. The movie does an outstanding job of translating a very dark, emotional, slow moving book into something that works on the big screen while staying true to the storyline . The special effects are incredible and the acting by the entire cast was greatly improved. The only criticism I still have is the added fight with the Volturri. While it was well done, it creates a paradox with Eclipse and BD (Since Alice and Edward's abilities apparently don't help them at all in a fight).

i thought that taylor was so hot taking off his shirt! i dont think there was a silent girl in the crowd.
it followed the book pretty well, but i was disappointed with the end. it still did make me want to go see the next one in june though. i think the next one will be even more entense than new moon, but breaking dawn will definently be the breaking end point. i still love you tayorl!

I thought that the movie was closely linked to the book, which is always a plus. The characters were played great and they draw one into the movie. Specifically, it went well and was fabulously done up until Alice comes on screen. After that, the movie takes off in a fast frenzy, losing track of some important details and becomes too cheesy in some of its scenes (Edward & Bella running through the forest), for example. Still, a nice romance and a breath of fresh air without the explicit language or scenes. I would recommend this movie!
