I was so impressed with "New Moon"! It was true to the book, and the actors really got it right the second time around. This was one of the best book to big screen adaptations I've seen. I'd recommend this to any "Twilight" series fan!

This WAS better than the first Twilight, and the story is amazing, but I really think they should have casted a different person for Bella. Kristen Stewart cannot act. It's too bad, I was really hoping she would have brushed up on her acting skills since Twilight. And Robert too, he's a little fake for me too. Now Taylor Lautner, he has got some amazing talent and a promising career! Overall I liked the movie, but liked the book so much better. I think they could have made it great if they had casted someone that could actually act for the role of Bella. Maybe she will get better with Eclipse and Breaking Dawn, we can only hope.

I went to the 12:01am showing with my fellow Twilight fan bestie. We both have read the series over and over and we're both torn. First of all, don't miss the first 15 mins. It went by all too fast. Secondly, there were way too many unnecessary jokes and even moments where I thought I was watching spoof scenes. Overall, my bestie and I are very torn..it was good, there were moments that we were glued to the movie and holding our breath, other parts, we glanced at eachother like, "Are you serious?". We're glad we saw it, but it wasn't what we expected. We didn't expect a comedy for sure. We'll probably see it again and buy it on DVD when it comes out, but I really hope the comedy isn't in the third and fourth movie.

Some didn't like it because Edward wasn't in it that much. If you read the book it follows rather closely I thought. It was great and I can't wait to see it again. Jacob is awesome, Bella is awesome, Edward is awesome. The movie is AWESOME!!!!!

I read the books. I saw Twilight before I read all 4 books. I wanted to see more of the relationship between Jacob and Bella.... or maybe I just wanted to see more of Jacob's shirtless body *fanning myself* I went to a midnight showing of this film and I wasn't bored for a second. It wasn't as fleshed out as the novel, but the major points were addressed. They could have done a better job framing the Volturi and what monsters they are.
I am a fan of Jacob so I wanted to boo a lot, but booing won't make the storyline change.
I think that Breaking Dawn will be impossible to make. They better hurry up with the sequels because the cast is aging, rapidly. Pattison had some luke-warm acting. A+++ to Taylor.

The Hype of the movie and the trailers were more exiting than the actual movie. The acting is so bad.
Great story, but could use better actors.
Jacob was HOTTT and was the best part of the entire movie. I am anxious for the next movie only because I invested so much time in the books and the first two movies,

If you are die hard twilight fans then you know that this movie stayed very close to the book. Of course they can not have ever little single bit of the book in the movie! It would end up being like 6 to 8 hours long! Think of Eclipse and the movie being the whole book! GOODNESS! Anyways! I thought the movie was competely amazing! The wolves were great the movie was based mostly off of the book. A must see! I will be going back to see this movie again tonight!!

What a great movie - and so worth staying up all night to see it! I think it followed the book more closely than Twilight did. And the acting was so much better. I didn't find Bella to be quite as annoying as I did in the first movie. Now I can't wait for Eclipse!

The directing was awesome, as was the cast. I appreciated the humor amoung the very serious plot of the heart ache Bella experiences. I was very impressed with Taylor Lautner as Jacob. He really stepped up to the plate! WOW. Robert Pattenson of course is a god sent, and last but not least, Kirsten Stewert is a WONDERFUL actress! She really is the leading lady among her generation. I look forward to many movies with her.

A wonderful movie experience ~ brought out the important elements from the book that needed to be exposed ~ watched Twilight (AGAIN!) in the theater before watching New Moon and, although I liked Twilight, this is even better - so much more intensity.

Wonderful! Packed full of action and special effects! You will be in suspense the entire time - esp. if you haven't read the books. One caution - this movie may not be one that I would let young children see; due to the "changeover" of Jacob and his pack. My 10 year however will be seeing.

As a fan of Twilight (both books and movie), I was very excited to see this movie and decided to go to the midnight viewing. From the very first scene, I was drawn in. This movie has better acting, better costumes and makeup, better graphics, and a great plotline. Throw the surprising humour of the characters in there and it definitely exceeded any expectations I had! Director Chris Weitz did a fantastic job with this film.

I have to say that I can see only die hard fans forcing themselves to love the movie. The acting was very mediocre and almost painful to watch. It was missing that feeling that the books left on your soul, that passion, and that deep love Bella and Edward shared. It was as if the director read the book and really thought it was a joke, he did not put his heart into this movie at all. It all seemed so forced and the mood of the movie was drab and boring. Very disappointed.

I really enjoyed New Moon. I mean REALLY enjoyed. The upped budget is very apparent. The wolves were done very well. Melissa Rosenberg did a great job of integrating as much of the book as possible. Looked to me like the actors were a little more comfortable in their roles. Bring on June 2010 and Eclipse!!

I went to see New Moon with a friend which I did want to see it, but probably wouldn't have gone out of my way to see it in theaters based on the first Twilight movie. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. The CGI for the wherewolves was well done and the storyline was intense. Overall, great movie.

I was extremely disappointed with Twilight, but New Moon had a new director who made the movie absolutely incredible. For one thing, it has better acting. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart weren't so great in Twilight, but they really stepped it up in New Moon. Plus, the screen writing is amazing! Whoever wrote the script knew what he was doing! It is so close to the book that it's shocking! Twilight missed so many key points to what made it such a good book, even if they were 'smaller' parts, but New Moon does the book major justice. I don't think it could've been made any better. I am extremely impressed. It was an awesome, well-made movie, even setting aside that it was based off the book. I can't wait to see it again.
