I loved the movie. I didn't like the changes to the vampires because they stand out too much so your telling people that they're stupid for not noticing. Taylor Lautner was great in this film, Kristen Stewart & Robert Pattison were great too but not as good as they were in Twilight. LIke I said, the movie was still great, true to the book and I will own it and watch over & over until Breaking dawn comes out.

Absolutely the best movie. The only fault in the Twilight Saga movies is they need to be 3 hour movies instead of 2 hour. They could have a much fuller movie (more true to form according to the books) if they'd add an extra hour. By all means, go see the movie!

Well worth the wait...it was very much true to the book. The special effects were outstanding, and the scenes were beautiful. The movie reinforced my love of the book, and I'll see it again and again!

I felt the movie was as true to the book as it could be. Everything was much better than the first. The make-up looked realistic (no more make-up lines, lol) Also the acting was better than the first. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the first one but I felt they were gasping for air half of the movie and also I didn’t feel the connection that Bella and Edward had in the book. If I didn’t read the book I wouldn’t have understood their love for each other. But in this one whenever they spoke you could feel their feelings better. The entire movie was just beautiful to watch. It had a very artsy look to it. I LOVED IT and I’m so glad it came out on my birthday! I can’t wait for the next installment! I hope my comment helps.

they focused on the wrong stuff an kristen needs acting lessons , though i do think she did better in this then the first . the books are amazing an its hard to compete with that . but robert should have worked out a bit more an waxed after lookin at jacob run around then to see robert take off his shirt , not so good. i didnt like alices hair , i dont know ... they did a great job with the wolves . an oh yeah i expected quil an embry to be cuter an all those boys should have been taller . just seems like with all the money that movie had to make it it would have been full of better actors . to late now if they changed it that would be worse just send them all to acting school .

New Moon almost split off into an alternate universe for me, one in which Jacob is actually deserving of his love. He was much less desperate, much less annoying, and definitely, more pleasing to the eye!
Overall, the movie kept pretty closely to the book in the important details, while skimming past other trivial things for time constraint.
I felt like Kristen and Taylor had more of a chemistry than she and Robert had... just personal opinion though.
If you're a fan of Twilight, this movie won't disappoint you. The increased budget and the new director made a a huge difference.

I must say... I've always been a fan of Jacob over Edward. After this movie... man, did that feeling intensify! Edward is awkward & too dramatic for my personal taste. Jacob is the perfect man, and Bella does nothing but tease him. It's awful. Haha. Great movie though!

I must say that they stuck to the second book very well, I read in a magazine article that the actors/actresses had copies of New Moon in their hands and wanted to follow the book, they did what they should have done with Twilight. I've read countless reviews saying; stick to the books or the movie wasn't what I expected. But I must say this movie was very good, I would watch it over and over again. They did an excellent job with this movie. Yes, the acting wasn't up to par.. but I could tell you that after watching the first movie.. expecting anything better would be ridiculous. But the graphics were amazing and so believable. So overall I give New Moon 5 stars and two thumbs WAY up :)

I could go on forever, but to say it plainly-this movie was awesome! It took several different things from the book and did a spin on them that was AMAZING! (you'll see what I mean regarding Harry Clearwater)!!!! Anyways...Chris Weitz rocked this one....Rob did a great job, Taylor portrayed Jacob perfectly and Kristen was awesome and looked gorgeous throughout the movie. The coloring and cinematography was outstanding!!!! Even my husband enjoyed....Going to see again today w/ more friends!!!!!!!!!!

Everything from the book and more. Kristen did an excellent job portraying the heartache and dispair from the books. Robert Pattison truly made you feel Edward's toment over the pain a life without Bella caused when he thought she was dead. The movie was a good as the books. The ending truly left you wanting it to go on, as such 30 June 2010 is marked on my calendar for the release of Eclipse.

I absolutely loved this movie! Being a fan of the book series, it was so refreshing to see how closely the book was followed. It flowed beautifully and the balance of humor, romance and heartbreak was amazing. My fiance even said it was pretty good, thanks to the action scenes. Cannot wait to see it again - and if you're a fan in anyway of the Twilight series - it's a must watch.

After standing in a mile long line in the pouring rain with no umbrella, watching teenagers arriving in limos and young teenage girls screaming and taking pictures with the theatre ushers.....it was an experience. Even tho i sat there watching the movie wet and freezing...I never took my eyes off the screne and kept saying to myself how wonderful of a job the actors did....The story line was very cute and kept you wanting more......The ending was what aggravated me most..and that was only because i wanted more more more......I guess i will just have to wait another year to see what happens.....the saga continues !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I loved every minute of it. I think the director was ten times better than Hardwicke. It stayed closer to the book than the Twilight movie did. Some predictable cheesey-ness, but over all I loved it. I was also surprised by the comedy in it. I would definitely see it again.

I've read all the books (several times) and seen both of the movies now. The 2nd movie was MUCH better than the first one. The biggest dissapointment was that Kristen's acting did not get much better.
