This has been the best saga ever second place after Harry Potter. The scenery was breathtaking and the story was as close to the book as possible. I have never seen a movie that makes you experience what these characters are feeling. The best love story ever! Can't wait to see Eclispe and Bella and Edward's wedding!!!

Great movie picks up where Twilight left off. Keeps you on edge of your seat wanting more. Like most movies is over much too quick. Love story action movie characters at their peak. Read all four books twice. Cannot wait for other two. There is a lot to cover in the 4th book hope important points not left out which makes the movie. Eclipse should end with the wedding and Breaking Dawn start with the honeymoon.

This was a great movie. I cannot wait for the third and the fourth ones to come out! I loved how this movie showed the other half of the story! I am definitely hooked and so is my wife. She went out and bought all four books and is hooked to those as well.

Terrible writing, bad acting, bad effects. There is no positive thing to say about any part of this movie. I was literally in the theater counting the ceiling tiles. Not only would I avoid this film even if someone else paid my way, I will go so far as to say there isn't a large enough amount of money in the world to force me to sit through it again.

Actors protray the characters well. The movie follows the book quite closely. Jacob looks as the book described, buff, big, Edward seems a little small and scrawny. Overall a very good take of the book.

I haven't read the books but I heard they give more details than the movies. I do believe it would be hard to put every detail in the book into the movie but from what I have heard is there an important scene in the book between Jacob and Bella that was not portrayed in the movie. I guess I will have to read the book to see what scene is missing. Other than that, I loved the movie. It was great. Its a good story line. You knew that Edward was going to propose so now the question is.. what will happen between Bella and Jacob. Will they hunt each other?

I am a HUGE Twihard & LOVED this movie! I don't think you can ever fit all the details of a book into a movie script. However, I feel that Chris Weitz did an excellent job directing all the action / emotional depth that appeared in the book. I also think he included all the major events that happened in the book. I HIGHLY recommend seeing this film if you are a Twilight lover. I can't wait for ECLIPSE and will be in-line at the midnight showing.

This installment of the twilight saga was more accurate to the book. not exact, but I enjoyed it in the movie form almost as much as I enjoyed the book.

While I liked New Moon very much I felt they left out some very important parts like the scenes between Bella and Jacob...The valetines scene would have been great to see and then the scene with Sam looking for Bella in the woods...That was not right based on the book it was downplayed too much. And when they came back from Italy there was WAY more happening in the book than on screen. It was like they just jumped right over the nice reunion after the Vultori let them free. But, over all it was a good picture...Can't wait for Eclipse...just hope they don't leave out any vital items in it.

saw new moon for the second time last night.
the music was more emotion-provoking in the first movie.
i think hardwicke is a much better director that weitz. there wasn't enough story development but that could've been the script - the dialog was a bit flat in this installment.
had I not read the books, I wouldn't know that edward was incredibly upset about leaving Forks.
Pattinson needs to show more emotion and have more lines - i didn't count, but he hardly said anything in this movie.
Stewart screwed up the "edward departure scene" in the forest - it would've been more convincing had she been sobbing - a LOT.
Overall it was good - i am looking forward to Eclipse.

As I was watching this movie, I felt as if I was watching an episode of "Days of Our Lives" or one of those annoying soap operas. The relationship between Bella and Edward lacked passion. The writing in the movie was a little too elementary for this love story. The lines were uninteresting and bland. They might as well said "I love you" 8,000 times. Kristen Stewart was better in this movie than in the first one because of her emotions. As for Taylor Lautner, I didn't see anything special besides his body. As for his acting chops, he lacked them very much and might as well been thrown in the film as a Chip n' Dale Dancer. These movies bring cinema to shame.

I LOVE THE TWILIGHT SERIES!!!!! This movie was sooooo good. It captured the essence of the characters from the books with such shocking, startling accuracy that I think even Stephanie Meyer must be beaming! This movie was the epitome of true, neverending, undying love. Edward and Bella both try to save each other by leaving and it just goes to show you how much they really do love each other. I can't wait until Eclipse comes out! It's sure to be FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!

Twilight was okay compared to New Moon. Chris Weitz did a fantastic job with this movie. The way Edward looked in her delusions compared to how he looked when he was prepared to end it all; exactly the way I pictured him when reading the books. The way Bella portrayed the absolute pain of losing the one she loves. Her conflict of having to choose friendship over saving someone who doesn't love her anymore (in her own mind). My favorite part was when Edward crushed the phone in his hand after hearing the bad news. No words, just the action that showed how much in love he truly was with Bella. **sigh** Watch the movie. Read the books. Love them all.

When you see New Moon you fit into 1 of 2 categories. A fan of the books/Rob/Taylor/Kristen or just a movie goer going to see the latest action/vampire flick. If you are in category 1 then you are going to love this movie and think its the greatest thing ever. If you are in category 2, you'll think it was good, entertaining etc. I am reading the books but I am not an avid fan. The movie was good as far as vampire/werewolf movies go. The werewolves are the coolest part and you will more than likely enjoy watching them in action. I would recommend it for the category 2 people if they saw the first one and are planning on seeing the next movies. Overall a pretty good movie with some very entertaining moments.

After reading all of the books, and seeing Twilight and the New Moon, I can honestly say that I am truly impressed. The movies so far, have been just like the books. I loved New Moon, but then I love anything Twilight. I made my husband go see this movie with me, he liked it too. It's not just for teenage girls. Women of all ages love it as well. Great job. I look forward to Eclipse and Breaking Dawn.

I definitely wanted more of the love story between Edward and Bella, but I see how this segues into Eclipse, especially with the ending of the movie. The ending made me gasp. However, I did truly like Twilight better than New Moon. I am not a Jacob fan, especially after he tried to keep her away from Edward. There were points when the movies dragged a little with the interactions between Bella and Jacob. Jacob is just not that interesting. Edward is much more mysterious and hauntingly romantic. The movie DID leave me wanting badly to see Eclipse. I cannot wait until June.

I LOVE all of the Twilight saga books, but I felt like New Moon was my least favority. First, Edward was gone for the most part. Second, Bella whined a whole lot! I was so glad to see that the movie captured Bella's agony without overkill and I LOVED the effects with Jacob becoming the wolf...better than I could have imagined!

New Moon was so worth the wait to see after reading the book, it flowed nicly from Twilight. I've read all 4 books (twice), so whatever is left out of the movie I can easily fill in for myself. This story is truly about love, romance and scarafice, something I think we're all looking for. The end of New Moon leaves you wanting more, can't wait for Eclispe in 6/2010. Every Twilight fan must see this movie.
