This movie actually follows much of the book. Edward is great at his roll. The wolf pack are amazing and hot... Hard to believe that they are that young.. Bella bores me. She shows no emotion, no life, nothing....
All in all it was well worth watching :)
Can't wait till the next one.

New Moon was amazing!! The acting was so much better. Kristen is truly a wonderful actress, especially when she is having the nightmares. Jacob looks so good in this movie, wow! His body is to die for, Edward not so much. But the movie was great, of course not as good as the book because you get so much more detail. And I felt like in the movie they did not emphasize enough how much Edward & Bella were crazy for eachother. Nonetheless, a must watch! Eclipse is going to be insane. =)
Go out and watch this movie. It is worth it, the two hours & 10 mins fly by!

It was just OK for me. I don't think the cast's acting improved very much. Kristin Stewart did actually smile slightly once or twice, but, for the most part, seems her facial expression stays the same all the time!! They all could use some lessons in putting emotion into their performances and not be soooo monotone. Nearly put me to sleep!! There's so much potential for this movie series, but they're not taking advantage of it (just my opinion)!!
Still, I await "Eclipse" in July!!

Even though I loved Twilight, you could tell it was low-budget and the acting at times was ridiculous. The acting was much better in New Moon and the effects were awesome!
If you have read the books, you will understand more of the character's motivation and will get more out of the story than just the movie standing alone. (the history of the werewolves, some of the vampires powers, etc which are important to the story)
Edward is breathtaking as usual - and Alice was way better in this one too. I even liked Bella in this one...
I can't wait to see the next movie and give New Moon a HUGE thumbs up! But read the books too - it will make a difference!

I liked the movie a lot. I was very surprised at how fast everything moved and was constantly thinking that I couldn't believe that 200 pages of reading equalled ten minutes of movie.
I also felt that Bella and Jacob had better chemistry together and that it was really hard to reconnect with Edward after watching the other two together so much.
Great job to Taylor for doing such a wonderful job. I think he was the best part of the movie--and not just because he looks VERY good with his shirt off.
Over all it was a good movie and followed the book very well,

I felt like this movie did much better portraying Meyer's writing. It was more visceral than Twilight and very entertaining. I would go watch it again in a heartbeat! I'm in love with the boys even though I'm a grown adult. This movie could stand alone without any prior knowledge from Twilight or the books and that's a great features for those who are lost as to what is going on.

The movie was GREAT!!! Way better than the first!! It went with the book for the most part, obviously the book has more details, but there were a few things that weren't in the book that were added to the movie. I agree with some of the other comments about the boys playing the wolves needing to be bigger like Jacob. It seemed weird they were wimpy and he was muscles everywhere!!! Anyways, i LOVED it and would go see it again!!! Definitely going to buy it when it comes out on DVD!!

I am a huge Twilight fan and though I really missed some parts of the book I did realize that two hours and ten minutes was not enough time for everything. The interaction between Bella ansd Jacob was exceptional and the Volturi scene I think came very close to my visualization. Thanks for producing a great movie to help us Twi Hards through til Eclipse.

I'm a total Twilight fan, but this movie was a huge disappointment. It felt disjointed, the relationships didn't gel like in the first one, the performances (except Jacob) were almost wooden-like and the wigs/make-up were horrible. God I hope Eclipse is better.

Great film have to see the rest of the series. Had to read the books to understand some of the plot. Thought Twilight was better in the music area of the film hope to see a better sound in the next film. Overall great author and did great job turning into the movie.

I never saw the first movie, so I like how this one referenced the first enough for me to understand what was happening. The wolves were so exciting, and the make-up for the vampires was great. The love stories are innocent, but all of the physical tension creates a good amount of humor. The movie is not too scary, and yes, Jacob is completely gorgeous! Team Jacob, all the way!

I absolutely loved it and so did my 4 kids. We bought our tickets as soon as they went on sale and went to the theater early and was seated before all the other theaters. We thought it reflected the book well and will go a see it again. LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You almost feel 15 again, but it was a remarkable turn out ! There were a few parts where the comedy was a bit different than the book, funny and everyone in the theater laughed. It was a nice add on, where you can see the sarcasm and comedic reaction . Each actor was true to form as well, doing a great job. A few of my friends who were Team Edward fans are definitely Team Jacob fans now too. Bella looked more beautiful in this movie ,and her character is really evolving right before you now. The ending was of course one where everyone loudly said at the same time "ahhwww", it was a ending that makes you want more to get the rest of story! I thought they did a great job all around In New Moon! Can't wait for the next one :)

I had fallen in love with the books before even watching the movie so of course I'm a fan of the Twilight Saga. Although I will say that this movie was better in telling the story and the graphics were excellent! However, I felt maybe there was too much talking to drag out the movie...understandable though since more "action" occurs in the Third and Fourth book. This movie definitely pops out to me as a chick flick, fantasy, and manly movie. I would recommend anyone to see AND I await the other two movies!

I hoped this movie was going to better than the first and I wasn't disappointed. I liked just about everything in the movie except I expected Edward's sparkle to be better. Kristen Stewart's acting has improved some. I am a total Team Jacob Fan but at this point I would take either Jacob or Edward. Everybody looked more like a vampire should look, although I think when it comes out on blue-ray we'll still see some makeup lines. I would recommend this to anyone who has read the book, it follows it very closely and even for anyone who hasn't read the book.

I loved that it didnt keep the big important parts out like the first one did. I was disappointed about Emilys face tho. Loved New Moon. I thought it followed the book quite well. I wish they would have had just a little more about Jacob's transformation, but that's about it. I'll definitely see it again and again before it leaves the Theatre. (Not to mention I won a free pass to see it again,too!)
