New Moon was AWESOME! It was way better than the original Twilight. It really followed the book and the acting was better too. Definitely go see it...I'll probably see it again!

I was so disappointed in the movie! Taylor "Jacob" is such an awful actor and seeing as he was 90% of the movie i wanted to walk out. They should have casted one of the other werewolves as the main actor because they did great. Edward was awesome as always. With all the money they spent on that movie the way it was made was very poor, looks like it was made for Nickelodeon! The first one was soo much better. As an avid twilight fan i feel like i wasted money and time waiting in line for the big night. I would suggest wait for the dvd to come out!

I loved this movie! I was thought it was going to be good and I was still blown away! It was amazing. Even though some things were changed from the book, it was very true to the book and I have absolutely no complaints. WAY better than the first movie. The acting was amazing and the action and humor was very entertaining. Definetly worth going to see and my new favorite movie! I will be seeing this one again and again. =)

This movie is 100 times better than the first twilight. You can definately tell there has been relationships behind the scenes between with edward, bella, and jacob. Their acting was excellant. I cant wait for the next installment.

I thought this movie was much better than Twilight! Kristen still has a long way to go in the acting dept , but I did feel that Bella and Jacob had much more chemistry than Bella and Edward and Taylor Lautner can actually act (better than any of the other actors with the exception of the actor who plays Bella's Dad) and too bad he's only 17 because he is a cutie. I didn't like Alice's hair it was too straight and not as "spritey" as it was in Twilight which really complimented the free spirit of her character and that Jasper is pretty creepy. The make up was much better in this movie but all in all I really enjoyed it and will see it again this weekeend.

I read all the books, and the movies are the best. I've fallen in love with all the characters, and I can read these books and watch the movies over, and over, and over again!
New Moon brings this franchise to another level. Everything about the movie was great, and they stayed true to the book as much as possible. Bring on Eclipse --- 06/30/2010!

Okay I agree with everyone new moon is better than first one.New moon for the most part followed the book to the letter.
Now as for the acting Edward,Bella, and Jacob should consider acting school if they want to have a carrer in the movie business after the trilogy ends.I really had high expectations that this would be and amazing movie but in the end I was really left empty inside.I sure hope that eclipse is better.I sure hope that this review helps because all the 5 stars I am seeing in the reviews are just full of it.

THE MOVIE WAS WORTH THE WAIT. THE SPECIAL EFFECTS WERE GREAT THE ACTORS SHOWED QUITE AN IMPROVEMENT IN THEIR ACTING SKILLS. OVERALL GOOD MOVIE. I WILL DEFINITELY BUY THE DVD & I WOULD PURCHASE TICKETS TO SEE IT AGAIN.

I thought this movie overall was pretty good...the only things that I was disappointed about were Edward's clothes (so old man looking!) and the fact that the chemistry between Jacob and Bella was more believable than the chemistry between Edward and Bella. I also thought they rushed some of the really good scenes. I have to say, though....SO much better than the first Twilight movie.

Outstanding! I was thrilled that the movie struck fairly close to the book. While it felt summarized and rushed (PLEASE give us a 3 hour movie! lol), it still caught many key points and showed the relationships throughout.
Loved and hated the ending.... 7 months and 10 days till Eclipse!!!! Can't wait to get NM on BluRay!

I very rarely do the midnight showing but thought i would go and if it was horrible i would blame my firend for making me go, but that was not the case. I LOVED this movie SOOOO much better than the first. Kristen still drives me crazy though. She really has no talent for acting and even though she does better in this movie she is still not the best. The boys on the other hand were great! The movie had all the key points of the book and really had a nice flow and look to it. I am excited to see how the next movie turns out!! I say "see it"

This movie definitely follows the book a lot closer than the first. I think they did the best they could to get in all of the "important" parts of the book, while not making it a four hour movie. Some scenes seemed squished together though, which is the result of fitting into the time frame. Overall, I enjoyed it!

Entertaining/fun to watch, however it's written for a 4th grader. What can you expect from a teenie bopper vampire movie???? It makes you laugh, smile, cringe, roll your eyes (way too much). The writing could be better. Too many times, there are lines that seem like they're from other corny romantic movies. The cinematography was fantastic, as was the soundtrack. Special effects were satisfactory, not WOW level. Less boys with their shirts off please. Girls will still flock to the theater if you show the chest of Taylor 2 times instead of 50. Lastly, at the school when Edward pulls up... all of the guys in the theater will be drooling over the XC60 while the girls will all be gawking at Edward...

Enjoyed Twilight for its entertainment value and it turned me on to the books. Wasn't crazy about the acting, or the low-budget look of it.
New Moon has better acting overall, better stunts and costumes too. LOVE THE WOLVES! Great job on the CGI work, AMAZING.
They stayed pretty true to the book (or however true you can be when condensing to a 2 hour movie). Rob looked much better this round, also appreciated the makeup on Bella.
Taylor - FANTASTIC JOB! With the other characters I always felt a little like the characters on screen were a tad off to the perception I created in my mind while reading...with Jacob, it was just a fantastic elaboration of what I imagined! It won't be that way for everyone, but for me it was.

This movie will satisfy the romantic in girls and women alike . . . it is great! Of course there is nothing like the book, but the movie did a good job at capturing Bella's broken heart and Edward's struggle to keep her safe. Jake is of course GORGEOUS! The editing could've been better and some car scene effects were a bit rough - they felt to me like there were people outside the car moving it to make it look real . . . just my opinion. But overall the movie is great!

If you're a Twilight fan you wont be disappointed! All the worries about having a different director were for nothing. New Moon has action, love and everything else. It follows the book very well, and the characters are vibrant. You could almost feel what they were feeling! I recommend this flick to anyone, even if you haven't read the book. Also the soundtrack is phenomenal!

I was happy with the turn out. Yes it was a bit different from the book but I knew it would be. I liked the CG and special effects. I loved the ending!!! It was what I wanted. I think the 3rd will be even better. The Only thing I could have done without was Bella seeing Edward. I think the voice would have been better. and I am Team Edward all the way.

I thought this movie was great! I love the Twilight series so I probably wouldn't put a bad review on any of them. Of course, as with all movies, they have to cut some details out for time. For someone who hasn't read the books, I felt New Moon followed Twilight (as it should have). I felt that they could've focused more on the Italy scene like they did on Bella and Jacob's relationship. But overall, this was a great movie. I like the more defined vampires as well, made it "more" for a sequel, as a sequel should be.

Excellent... great characters, visual effects and storytelling. Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are the new Bogart and Bacall.. tragic, yearning, conflicted and dedicated. Everything for a great love story! Can't wait until the next film.

The movie's creators promised the fans a movie better than the first, and they delivered. Acting is much better, filming is better, make up is MUCH better, and I think the viewer feels more. Although there is still room for improvement (ex: Alice's vision towards the end of the movie is unintentionally silly), the end result is true homage to the book. (THANK YOU CHRIS WEITZ.) I was surprised and delighted by several critical scenes in the book and by the visual adaptation/interpretation. Well done! They hit the target!

I was very pleased with the movie and it was well above my expectations. I enjoyed how it was so much like the book and it flowed beautifully. I must say, Taylor and Kristen did a fantastic job. It felt like the book did when their relationship/friendship grew. Taylor, congrats that was a great performace you've got mad skills. I must admit that I was extremely happy to see Robert back at the end, nothing can be compared to what he brings to the big screen. The move felt much shorter than it was since it kept my attention at all times. Thank you for a great movie and I look forward to the Eclipse.
