This movie went with the book almost exactly, I still can't think of any things that were left out. This movie is sad, a bit scary and to my surprise, very funny. It has everything and I am amazed by how well it turned out! Waaaay better than the first!

The first movie was great: it had a fresh "indie" feel to it, the cinematography was great, the music was great, and the quiet moments were kept sacred and real. The director did a great job. The second movie and the new director pretty much sucked. The film score (that would be the music) was cheesy and melodramatic. There were many directorial moments that were leading and obvious...especially with the intentional "pause, now look at Jacob's abs" moments. Lame. The three main actors did well in capturing the characters. I was very impressed with Taylor Launter's performance this time around. Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson were great as well.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Went to the midnight showing of New Moon and I was pleasantly suprised by how much better this movie is over Twilight. The new director really made a difference and everything was more cohesive and it portrayed the book well. The acting was also improved; the characters didn't seem so forced and phoney and Bella and Edward weren't as awkward as they were in Twilight. New Moon is more engaging to watch and has depth to it. The dialogue is clever and has plenty of humor thrown in. There is also sufficient eye candy for the girls! You can't help but to fall in love with Jacob, and Taylor Lautner for that matter. All in all, Twilight fans will not be disappointed!

this movie was a little closer to what happened in the book than the first. they missed a few of my favorite parts from the book, but i still thought it was a good, good movie. i really liked the end, making sure you go back to see what the answer was. go and see for yourself........

I loved it & can't wait to go see it again! I was definitely impressed with how well it followed the book & brought it to life compared to Twilight. Soundtrack is a must; it was awesome!

I've never left a movie review before, but everything in this movie worked. The acting was so much better, the music (no more 80's guitar riffs), Bella herself looked so much prettier, even in her deep depression. The camera angles and the special effects... Those wolves were terrifying and awesome! I can't wait to see it again!!

I am SOOOOOO impressed with this movie!! Jacob rocked it no doubt. I am still getting goosebumps, and I am Team Edward! A lot of the book was left out but all major elements were kept and done very well. I coulda threw something when it ended! I cant wait til Eclipse is released June 30th 2010!!!! I purchased my tickets 2 months ago for this movie, all theaters were SOLD OUT in ONE DAY. FANTASTIC MOVIE!!! Now if I could just get out of work today to go see it again. I never see movies twice, yet this series I can watch over and over and over! WOWOWOWOWOWOWWWW!

We waited almost 3 hours outside in the Iowa cold to watch this movie. I would say it was definately worth the wait! A few parts were changed to adapt the book to the big screen. But it was still excellent. I would not recommend to anyone who has not read the book or seen the first movie. Special effects were awesome! I loved all of the parts with the wolves! Robert Pattinson did a phenomenal job portraying Edward! Kristen Stewart & Taylor Lautner had an undeniable chemistry that made their parting ways just as painful as it was in the novel. Would not have changed a thing! Superb!

New Moon is way above my expectations!!!! I went to the movie thinking it would be good but didn't expect it to be as amazing as it was!!! All I wanted to do when I got out of the movie was go back and watch it again and again!!! All of the cast fits their respective charachters quite well! The Voltori were creepy but I must say, I absolutley love Aro! He's creepy but has this quirky side just like in the book!!
Robert was awesome as normal at being Edward! I am a total Team Edward person but let me tell you! Those abs on Jacob definatley made me second guess which side I was on! :) I feel for Jacob seeing how much he loves Bella but she still belongs with Edward! Can't wait for Eclipse to come out after seeing this AMAZING film!

I was a little hesitant going to this movie, I'm not going to lie. I wasn't impressed with twilight so I didn't know if New Moon was going to be any better. I hoped it would since there was a new directer, and it was. I thought the special effects and the camera angles were great. They put in all the important things and didn't leave out a lot. Compared to Twilight, New Moon has incredible actions scenes. The previews don't do the movie any justice, soo much better. You also get a strong sense of what each character is going through and you can really feel with them, not just for them. You learn more about them too, it was really good!!

I am a really big Twilight fan and I must say I was disappointed in New Moon. Kristen Stewart displayed her nonexistent acting prowess and made embarrassing noises throughout the film. Robert Pattinson's performance did not match up to that of Twilight. On a good note, Taylor Lautner did really well and as far as book adaptations go, it followed the text closely. Overall, the film was worth seeing. I just hoped that Kristen Stewart would have learned to act.
