The action, the woods everything was so much better. Pretty much stepped the whole movie up, even though I was a fan of Twilight too.. I loved this movie.

The movie was GREAT!! I would, without a doubt, recommend this movie. They kept it as close to the book as possible. I was very pleased with the outcome of the film. I was left with wanting more and that's how I know it was a great movie. Go Edward!!!

This movie was quite amazing in my oppinion. I've been waiting for this to come out since the day I found out the date. It lives up to the hype and follows the book in ways the original didn't. Twilight was good, but New Moon was better.

New Moon was such a great movie! It was exciting to see at midnight and there were some great points in the movie theater where everyone laughed, and even points where the whole audience seemed to hold their breath!

This movie was fantastic! If you are a Twilight fan you will like this one even better than the first movie. There were less gaps between the book and the movie. The actors' portrayals were more in line with what happened in Stephanie Meyers' novel. If you are a Team Edward fan, you will now be torn between him and Jacob. Go see the movie. You will not be disappointed!

Better make up, richer look, increased consistency throughout the movie with the acting and the makeup. Many lines directly from the book. The humans provide great comedy relief (Charlie, Mike, Jessica, Eric...). I will be seeing this movie multiple times so that I can truely absorb it!!

I cannot believe the difference in Twilight and New Moon. I did not even like the second book, but the movie was awesome..... We went to the midnight showing and even with a running time of a little over two hours I wanted to stay in my seat and watch it all over again. So many of the action sequences were so much better. The vampires running for instance and the whole transition of the wolves it was excellent. The backdrop for the movie "Forks" is breath taking and a perfect setting. The Volturie, they were right on. When Bella hears the screams of the tourist soooooo good. Yes I recommend New Moon to everyone. I will definitely pay to watch it again........

Loved this movie! They really tried to stay true to the book as much as they could. I cannot wait for Eclipse! The best love story since Romeo and Juliet. Go see it, I will probably go see it two or three more times

Absolutely LOVED the movie. They did a great job of bringing the book to life without leaving out the important aspects of the book. Yes, Jacob has his shirt off a lot, but if you read the books, you would know that everytime they transform they rip their clothes especially if it's an unexpected transformation (anger). A MUST see movie.

Chris Wentz did an awsome job and really did stick very closely to the book. The movie was visually very beautiful. I think that Kristen showed how good she really is. Taylor was good but I didn't like his take on Jacob. Rob was fab!! Loved that they showed Edward's reaction to the phone call. I still wished that they would have given more back ground story. Overall as a fan of the books I very much enjoyed it. It could have been a little more slowed done at the end but I know they have to stay within a certain running time. However I think that audiances wouldn't have minded a longer movie.

I thought this movie was wonderful. It followed to book so much better than the first one did. LOVED getting to see Jacob half-naked for most of the movie!! Lol. I thought the producers did a very good job following the book and showing the relationships that Bella has.

So the agreement that the 6 of us had last night was def that it was 4 stars because we want to see improvement for the 3rd and 4th ones we are def excited and cant wait for Eclipse in June. This was a well done movie. Dialogue changes were still consistant with the style of the novel. It was fresh and humorous, and the break up scene was sooo emotional, that I suggest you take tissues.
Pattinson, was a bit over done with the make up, he looked sort of out of place from the other Cullens'.
Lautner was incredible, his character made you feel for him, made you dislike Bella for hurting him. Absolutely a wonderful young actor.
Go see New Moon. It's worth a look.

I took my two teenage daughters to see this movie at midnight opening night. It was such a powerful, fast-paced love story. We all LOVED it! The special effects were good, the acting was good, the storyline was excellent!

I very much enjoyed New Moon. I had read the so-so reviews, but for every reason the critics didn't like it, I loved it. I didn't miss the akward moments with Bella and Edward make weird faces at each other and not saying anything. I loved the werewolves and tehir mythology. The director deserves more kudos for weaving together a complicated tale with great music, nice camera shots, and great character molds.
I was very pleased with New Moon and am very excited for the next installment!

New Moon offers up a good bit of story telling, with upgraded visuals over Twilight due to an increase budget, and the move to select a director that understands visual effects. The score for the movie however will pull you out of key scenes as they come across as cheesy soap opera music. The movie on the whole was done well, and not deserving of the brutal beatings it's getting from film critics that do not understand the source material, nor do they understand why this movie will make money.

Cinematography and sountrack- amazing. Acting, script, and adherance to the book- not so much. There were scenes that were completely changed from the book and things that the producer must have felt necessary to simply...add. It had its humorous moments, but too many lines were stolen from other movies. I actually liked the first one better. I really did enjoy the cinematography for this one though ;) And at least there was eye candy.
