I kinda knew that the second could never be as good as the first but this is a good addition to the twilight collection. It's not what I expected but it definately had an ending that leaves me begging for more. Can't wait until the next one!

This movie was perfect. I felt that it moved at a good pace and even though I have read the books I was still excited about wanting to know what was going to happen next. The actors did a great job portraying the characters emotions from the book. The film was beautiful, funny and very emotional. The CGI effects were very impressive and I will be going to see this movie over and over again.

I love the Twilight series and maybe it is because I have read all the books that I expected more. It had so much potential but it was pretty much cheese. The kissing scenes were so over the top and the acting by Kristen sometimes was horrible. In my eyes Rob and Taylor can do no wrong. The wolves pretty much carries this movie! And the fight scenes were pretty cool too.

I loved Twilight even though it was a little low budget...but New Moon knocked it outta the ball park...the effects were sooooo good and I loved loved loved the way they translated the book to film!!!! Im probably going to see if many more times!!!

I liked the first movie, but since I was expecting it to be a bit more like the book, I was slightly dissappointed, but I LOVED New Moon. It was so good and romantic and funny in all the right places, but more importantly, it flowed so much better. The line was worth the wait! I took my 6th grader, and he loved it too. They only changed a few parts, which was better than the first movie's effort, and they left a few things out, as they have to do. But even without having read the book, I think it would still be a great movie all on its own meritts!
Go see it. Nothing inappropriate or scary. It is loud with the wolves but soooo cool.

as someone who read the Twilight Saga before the big buzz of making it into movies I do think that New Moon was good but there are alot of parts that it missed in the books that i think could've made it better. but even without those parts I say it was a pretty good Moive.

This movie was 800 billion times better than the first one. The acting was better (aside for Kristen Stewart, but thats besides the point), and the story line was spot on with the book. I absolutely cannot wait to see it again and I would recommend that anyone and everyone goes to see it, Twilight hater or not. If they keep getting better and better, Eclipse is gonna be freaking amazing!!! :D :D

New Moon was AMAZING! The graphics were just out of this world awesome! Kristen Stewart did Superb job in New Moon! The whole crew of Actors/Acresses were just super! I would see it again and again! I would recomend this movie for anyone that is into the Twilight series and even if your just a movie finatic! Great Job!

This movie was definitely more engaging than the first movie. It may have helped that I only rented the first movie and didn't see it on the big screen. It was nice that Bella finally smiled in this movie, I don't think it happened once in the first. The cheesy dialogue was brought down a notch and some decent acting actually showed its face. If you like the Twilight series, don't give up hope! The directing was much better this time around!

Although better than the first, New Moon failed to impress me. I am so overwhelmingly obsessed with the book, too - so I was terrifically disappointed.. The acting is terrible, as in Twilight. The only reason I am going to continue going to the theater to watch the subsequent films is because I simply cannot say goodbye to the series.. Don't get me wrong, the books are amazing, but very unlike Harry Potter, the transition to the movies has been an utter disappointment.

Took my wife to a 12:01 am showing and figured I would just sleep through the movie...Was I wrong...The movie was pretty good. They threw some action in the mix to go along with their love story, which made it more interesting for the guys. Now I have to see the 3rd movie after viewing this one.

Screams of delight echoed throughout the entire theater when the movie started. You could have heard a pin drop, not a soul moved during the entire show. The only sounds were the screams of delight when Taylor showed off his new body and when Robert first graced the screen. The director did an awesome job! This was better than the first one. I know hard to believe but New Moon follows the book more true to form. Taylor Lautner did a fantastic job and he is a hunk of a man! Kristen Stewart draws you into her broken wrenched heart so much that you feel part of her pain, Robert Pattison is Edward bringing him to life like he jumped out of the pages.
This is a fantastic portrayal of the book. Thank you Chris Weitz for directing this movie!

I was impressed with the movie and the way they basically kept to the book.. I do think they left some of it out so if you haven't read it you may get lost in some of the next movies.. but overall EXCELLENT and well worth staying up late for :)

New Moon scores much higher than Twilight ever did in my book. I think that the acting was better. However, the CGI still could be improved and the special effects made everyone in the theater laugh, instead of being impressed. The choice to use slow motion in epic scenes really doesn't create the image that they were hoping for, as far as I could tell. It needs to be more realistic. I really liked the interactions between Jacob and Bella. Liked the funny moments, just enough scary ones. Bottom line is that the CGI and special effects should be much more impressive and real.
