It turned out to be a good movie. I mean stunning visuals and CGI graphics really tops it plus the actors do a great job. Its going to be nothing compared to the book because of course the book has more detail and imagine they try to crunch it all together in the movie. At least the movie got what was most important even though they left out the part when Jacob was angry said a few words than he left.

As a fan of the books I was disappointed with the first movie and was hesitant to see New Moon. Thank goodness for the new director, better CGI, and better acting. My only complaint is Kirstin Stewart but her acting did improve slightly from the first movie. I would recommed this movie to anyone, those who have read the book and those who have not.

One thing that made me very happy was that it was better than the first one. I personally think they should change Bella. Kristen Stewart is not a good actress. Scenes where she doesn't need emotion are fine. But when she has 'bad dreams' its like watching someone have a seizure. And when she cries its HORRIBLE. I dont like her hallucinations either, it would have been better to just have Edwards voice.

I was disappointed, I did not like it, yes it did have some action parts but not much and not to my expections, I did not like the fact she stayed with the vampire guy, and the end of it, what a joke! i already told my kids....do not have me take u or go with you to watch that "eclipse' cuz im NOT!!!

It took me a while to pinpoint why I didn't enjoy the movie as much as I thought I should. With one exception, the cast was excellent. Better directing than last time, and overall quite good. Carlisle no longer is in white clown makeup with a clearly visible line on his chin, an improvement over Twilight.Taylor Lautner as Jacob is not only spot-on, he has blossomed into the heartthrob Jacob is supposed to be. The problem is Robert Pattinson, who plays the playful, joking, passionate Edward as a stone. Never pretty enough for the role, he now drags the entire movie down with his utterly flat style. He must be replaced for the next two movies to soar.

The Best Ever!!!!! I loved the movie. It was better than Twilight, and that's hard to beat. The books are the best and they've done a great job in putting it to movie format. It just keeps getting better. Can't wait for Eclipse and Breaking Dawn!!!!!!

I read all the books and i found this movie to be better then twilight. Some of my friends said it was slow but i didn't think so at all. I LOVE JACOB and he was amazing in the movie. Definitely one of my favorite movies ever!

For me who has never read the Twilight books or seen the first movie, I found this movie to be entertaining in many levels... it has the drama, the romeo and juliet love theme, the action, the vampire mysteries, etc....
Very great fantasy movie.. I recommend it.
It makes me want to see the first one and I look forward to the next movie.

I am a twilight fan, love the books. This movie was better than the first, it stuck to most of the story line of the book. The werewolve's transformation scenes were great, bella seems to only have one look through the whole movie and its a look of pain. Didn't feel the chemistry between her and edward, saw more chemistry between bella and carlisle in the scene were he bandaged her arm. Still wondering how they are going to transform Kristen Stewart into this flawless, gorgeous vampire. Looking forward to the next movie in June!

The movie could have been much better. The scenes were cut off abrutly, and a lot was left out. Their were several scenes not in the book the movie did not need, taking time from important information relevant to the story.

I really enjoyed New Moon. I felt it was much better than the Twilight movie. To be honest, I enjoyed it so much I saw it twice in the same day. I wanted to be able to take it all in and really see everything. I am excited for Eclipse in June, 2010. My husband came to see the movie with me both times and although he won't admit it, he enjoyed the movie as well. Even laughing out loud at times! A must see even if you are not a huge fan of the books!

In my opinion I thought this movie was very good. I think it was a lot better than the first because the first movie just like the books set up the story line. In Twilight they changed things around that were different from the book. In the second movie New Moon they stuck to the book more which made it a really movie. The only part I would say was a little weak was when Jacob was in Bella's bedroom and he said for her remember back to the stories he had told her. In the book he said she should guess and try and figure it out.

I agree that this was a movie made for the fans of the saga. I wouldn't encourage anyone to drag a friend that hasn't read the books simply because they don't know the story and what's to come. As for the movie and actors, Lautner does overact in some moments. Kristen Stewart does act a little bit better in this one--not quite the same acting that she usually does. Pattinson's absence in the film is not as heartbreaking as in the novel. I barely cried unlike with the book. The sadness and desperation is hit upon but the action keeps you from falling into the abyss that is New Moon. I'd recommend seeing this movie to a friend but only if they are not a butt or one that has a bad attitude about the Twilight phenomenon.

This movie was not worth the ticket price. If you liked the first movie, then you probably won't mind giving up the two hours to hear about Jacob's story. But otherwise, this movie stunk. There was no real story, and it was way over the top in "puppy dog" love that only a teenager can appreciate. Save your time and money and send your teenage daughter with her friends or wait for the DVD.

I really enjoyed the movie. It stayed very close to the book and I especially liked that alot of the dialogue from the book was incorporated into the movie. The acting at times was not over the top , and the werewolf transformation was great! The movie was made for those that LOVE the Twilight Saga, period.

I took my nephew and grandkids to see the movie, and they enjoyed it immensely...as did I. Taylor's portrayal of Jacob was absolutely fantastic. Watching his transition, physically and emotionally, carried the movie. Kristen's Bella was better this time than in the first installment. She was able to show how dependent she had become on Jacob, and how torn her feelings were. Patrick's Edward wasn't very convincing...he was too aloof, even when he wasn't supposed to be. I was glad to see that the writers stayed true to the spirit of the book, and I'm looking forward to Eclipse.

I loved the Twilight, but the new moon wasn't my favorite. It was so slow and too long. It had great moments though and I loved Kristen Stewart's acting she's great. I have to tell somehow the first episode of the movies is always the best.

All to often, books are mangled by those who raise it from the pages... As with Twilight, the movie, New Moon casts a pretty plausible rendition on the big screen. In New Moon Chris Weitz did a wonderful job of being true to the book and making it come alive. New Moon is a more sophisticated movie than the original Twillight. The CGI affects were wonderful and the actors did a wonderful job. You slip right into their world of Bella, Jacob, Edward and the others.
If you have read the books and are afraid to go see the movie because it might take away from the book, don't be. This will only add to the enjoyment of the story! So go and have a blast, I did!

This movie was jam-packed with romance, humor, and even some action. It is an edge-of-your-seat ride that will make you disppointed when it ends. Acting was great, and so were the special effects. Although the vampires looked a little virtualized and the book was a tad better I would definitely see this movie about 50 times before I'm sick of it!
P.S. I simply adore the twilight saga! Would also reccomend the books and first movie (Twilight) to anyone!

I thought Kristin Stewart's acting was awful in the first movie and Robert Pattinson jointed her in this one. It was horrible. He showed no emotion the entire movie. The only saving grace was Taylor Lautner and the werewolves. I'm not sure if I'll even go see the next one.
