This movie far exceeded my expectations for it, especially after seeing Twilight. I loved Twilight, but it definitely did not live up to the book. New Moon, however, was a whole different story. The quality was far better, the acting was better, and the whole movie was great. It kept even those who had never seen or read Twilight or any of the other books intrigued and zoned into the movie. It was fantastic!

I was hesitant to go watch New Moon, but happened to be visiting my younger sister who wanted to go opening night. She, my mother and my husband headed to see it. After the major disappointment of Twilight, my expectations were extremely low. Perhaps that is what made this so much better, but I think it was truly a great movie because it followed the book (significantly more than Twilight), the special effects were much tighter and the acting was more believable this time. I truly enjoyed it and am assured by my whole party it was two thumbs up. Go see it for yourself!

To be honest, the first movie left me underwhelmed. New Moon definitely did not do that....it was great. It stayed true to the book and the acting was much better by all the cast. I was not disappointed, and I hope to see it again within the next week or two...just not at midnight!

I thought part one of the Twilight saga was good but I believe New Moon to be great. I loved how it mainted most of the books integrity which is important to people who have read the book. What I most like is how they made sure to include all the small details and lines that are so important in the book to complete the story and had the same effect in the movie. Without them it would not have been complete.

I feel in love with twilight which then made me fall in the love with the books. New Moon was amazing they did a beautiful job i am SO SO happy! I was just a little disappointed that there was know birthday c.d, but i LOVED when they got back together woo...woo!! it was also FUNNY!!! I loved that it made the movie go by quicker. I am going to see it 2 more times friday as well as saturday and sunday!!! Let break the records twi-hards!!!!!

This movie was WAY better than I was expecting. Having read all 4 books, and being a big fan of them, I was semi-dissappointed with the first movie but this one was a movie worth staying up until 4AM for!!! Surprising twist: It was funny! But there were plenty of tense moments as well. Taylor Lautner's performance was actually really good, he's definetly grown up since he was Shark Boy! Overall though this was a great movie and definetly worth seeing multiple times. And even though I loved the book's plot line, the subtle differences in the movie didn't make me angry at the writers. Best movie of the year, in my opinion of course...

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love love love this move. I was so excited about it coming out that I went to the midnight premier!! This movie was soooooooooooooo good. It was even better than twilight. Edward is still sexy as ever and OMG Jacob is super sexy. He has buffed up since twilight and his body is banging!!!!!!!!!! YUM YUM!!!

Did a very good job touching on all the points in the book and adding a few extra. Didn't change it up as much as I expected but there also was a little more comedy than i'd expected. They definately downplayed Alice's fashion senses and made her dress sort of old ladyish. They made Jasper look weird, sort of villanous, not nearly as hot looking in New Moon as he was in Twilight. Edward was super sexy, as usual, but looked a little over makeuped and overdressed in some parts.
I'm going to see it again in Texas over Thanksgiving!

I was expecting more from this long-awaited Twilight sequal.
I found the movie to be over the top in terms of the numbers of actors, sets, film locations, etc. Twlight was a great movie because it had a wonderful plot as well as for the simplicity of it. Everything about it was understated.
Sadly, New Moon is just another big budget blockbuster. The qualities of the first book in the series have been lost.

I was blown away with this movie. It stuck to the book perfectly, and really drew you in. Personally, I think the director did an AMAZING job casting for these movies, and I am looking forward to (2) more amazing movies from this series!!! Thank you to Stephenie Meyer for having such inspiration to write about these characters. And whether you love Edward or Jacob, this movie will please you! Can't wait for "Eclipse".

I liked it. It was good, but I don't think it was great. I went to see Twilight four times at the theatre. I think I'm good on going to see New Moon just this once. I'll wait for it to come out on dvd before I watch it again. I liked it as much as I liked the book Iguess. I rate Twilight and Eclipse as a tie for #1 followed by New Moon and then Breaking Dawn. So the movie was as good as I expected.

Reading the novels I was so team edward but now with the movies I more team Jacob. Awesome Movie. Movie ticket price was well worth it. Graphics wow and I saw it on a regular screen. Can't wait to see it in digital or HD.

As many others, I was also very leary of New Moon because I felt like I suffered through the Twilight movie. New Moon is 100 times better in every way. I LOVED this movie and may even go see it again in the movie theatre. Also, I think my husband would even enjoy it.

So I was a little worried about this movie at first. My least favorite of the 4 books... I wanted to see how they would incorporate more Edward and the transformation of Jacob. I have to say I left the theater wanting to see it again! It was fabulous. I think it was much more true to the book. The casting was great and even though you know what will happen it gave me goosebumps to see it. Worth the wait and the price. See this movie!
