I was very happy with the movie! i had actually gotten my husband to agree to go and was nervous that he'd be rolling his eyes the whole time but he didn't! he enjoyed himself! though there were a few parts that were in the book that weren't in the movie but other than that it was pretty well put together. my husband felt that it was better than twilight, the graphics and what not. had a great time and was well rewarded!

Movie started out very slow but after the 1st 15-20 mins it picked up. All in all It was a very entertaining movie. I was surprised, there was a lot of humor & it was timed perfectly. I don't know what more entertaining: to hear the girls scream at Jacob's awesome body when he took off his shirt (most of the movie) or to hear the moms hush their own awe's @ Jacobs body! I would definitely recommend this movie to a friend.

New Moon was so much better than Twilight! Personally I felt that they didn't "dig" deep enough into Bella's depression. It seemed very short lived. I felt that Taylor's, Jacob was amazing and he captured the essence of Jacob to a tee. Overall it was a good interpretation of the book, but not quite as good. In my opinion!

I was very skeptical about this movie. I remember laughing through the first one and not taking it seriously at all, but this one really delivered for me. I was on the edge of my seat for pretty much the whole movie and had an empty feeling when it ended with the suspense of the next movie lingering in my mind. I made fun of the first movie all the time, but this installment changed my opinion about the whole franchise.

LOVED LOVED LOVED the movie. Felt like it had just started when it ended. Wish the movie would have neded exactly how the book did like twilight but it has me on the edge of my seat and wanting June to get here as fast as it can! I will stand in line to get into the theater first for the midnight premier of Eclipse!

I was very disappointed with Twilight the movie, but New Moon was unbelievably amazing. They stuck to the book and the way things were supposed to happen, and it made it so much better. Chris Weitz did an ridiculously awesome job. I can't get over how perfect it was.

The on screen translation actually exceeded my expectations as a nostalgic fan of the Twilight series. I've lived in both areas (Phoenix and Forks) long before the novels were around and thank Stephanie Meyer for bringing the beauty to everyone else.
As this is the most emotionally centered of the four novels, I was concerned in how the transformation to screen from page would've been done. Chris Weitz (director) did a more true to the novel version than I had expected after having seen Twilight as directed by Catherine Hardwick. Not saying that she hadn't established the characters well, but New Moon was more true to what Stephanie Meyer had put on the page.
This is definitely worth seeing in the theatre...I was not disappointed.

The movie was awesome!!!! Even though I knew what was coming, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I'm going again to see it tonight, and probably every day this weekend, it was really that good. The only dissapointment was when it ended, i wanted to keep watching! Eclipse is going to have a hard time topping this.

The movie was over before I knew it...I was never bored and was left wanting more. Can't wait for Eclipse. I loved everything about the movie, but specifically thought Kristen Stewart was fabulous and Billy Burke was wonderful in everyone of his scenes.

I thought the acting was better than the last one, especially Bella's part, which I thought was terrible before. However, the acting still wasn't great. The cheesiness was to a minimum, which I liked. As far as sticking to the book, of course they could've done a better job, but that's how movies based off books do well. They change things a little for the viewers. The ending was good, left me on the edge of my seat. They obviously can't keep going people, they have to leave you wanting more. Overall, Good movie.

New Moon did not disappoint. It stayed true to the book as much as possible considering there are necessary changes needed to put the story on film. Casting for the wolf pack was dead on. Loved seeing the story come to life. Kristen, Rob, Taylor, and Ashley do the most amazing job. i cannot wait to see it again, and again!

While some of the acting was still not amazing, the main characters did ok and the movie came out far ahead of Twilight as far as effects, acting and staying true to the book. There were a great deal of funny moments throughout the movie to lighten the depressing storyline AND there were moments that were supposed to be serious and depressing that a majority of our audience found ridiculous and were dying of laughter. But overall the movie was well done and worth the $7

New Moon stuck to the book better than Twilight. If your a Twilight fan this is a must see. The scenes with Edward as
the ghostly figure in Bella's head was exactly as I pictured it while I was reading the book. This film was AWESOME!!!

This is the first movie that I have gone to see @ midnight. With all the crowds, I began thinking it was a bad idea, but it was the best experience ever! The movie is awesome, true to the book and the acting is amazing. Action, Action, Action! my boyfriend isn't into the books but went along with me after much begging, and he really enjoyed the movie. I will definitely go see it again within the same week! A true modern love story - Thanks SUMMIT!

I had no intention of seeing this on opening night in fear of all the screaming crazy fans, but I'm so glad I did and thanks to all the movie goers for not interrupting the movie! This movie was better than Twilight and I think Kristen's acting is much better in this movie. There is more humor and it did stick to book. Some of the sceens skipped right to the part, not showing how it got there but that had to be done to make it fit into a 2 hour film. I have absolutely no complaints what so ever!!! I loved the movie and this just might have to be a Blu Ray purchase!!!

Ok, I am a huge fan of the books, and I admit I was disappointed in the first movie. I thought it jumped around way too much- like how Bella and Edward went from being sorta friendly to madly in love. Anyway, New Moon stays true to the book, almost to a fault. Dialogue was lifted word for word from the book. Like most good movies, this one ran the gambit of emotion. I felt myself tear up at a couple of scenes, and laughed out loud for a few. I definitely recommend this movie. It is wayyyyy better than the first.

Loved it, loved it!!! I am 100% team Edward. But this book is not much about him. Even though, in the movie he looks weird. Something happened to him between Twilight and New Moon. Jacob looks great,awesome, yummy....I dont cheer for him, but man he looked good. It is worth watching. It does differ from the book. But they key most of the key parts in. I cant wait to watch Eclipse in June 2010. This movie was made for everyone to watch. Team Edward baby, please dont disappointment with Eclipse!!!!

Honestly I didn't like the way they made the Cullens look, they looked too pale. They did leave some parts out and kinda tried to fit them in there really quick. I stil enjoyed it and well the Volturi only come out for like 3mins or so. The ending is so lame because you get all excited and then there's letters. Wth? But would go watch it again and again. I'm team Edward but for a moment there I felt something for Jacob lol The book is better!!!

WOW!! I read all 4 books in this series, and was very disappointed in Twilight when it came out, because of my love for the book & how much was left out.
HOWEVER, NEW MOON was AMAZING! It covered all the bases....it had better graphics, better lighting, better side by side coverage with book..better EVERYTHING!
The actors and acresses were WONDERFUl and the movie is FULL of eye candy! Lol

Great movie. Left me wanting more. If the movie had run three hours it would have been fine with me. It would have been nice to see a little more of Bella during her depression and then Bella & Jacob having fun and drawing Bella out of her "funk".
Over all it was worth my money to go and see the film and I will pay to see it again

It was a pretty great movie. I have read all of the books so of course the books are always better, but the movie got all of the key points and kept me very entertained. laughed when I was supposed to and cried when I was supposed to...great 2nd addition to the SAGA, and I can't wait until June 30th for "Eclipse"

This movie is THE best of the two so far. Kudos to the direction team on this one they did the book PROUD!!!! I saw it at Midnight show and it just was AWESOME 5 stars just does not do it for this movie i give it 10 stars. It was really greatly made. CANNOT wait for Eclipse heard from the actors it is bettter than New Moon if that could be possible.

This movie was absolutely amazing. I was a little hesitant because Twilight was a bit of a let down the first time I saw it, but New Moon went above and beyond what I expected. I can honestly say that I can't think of a thing they missed from the book! Simply amazing.

New moon was way better than twilight! it ran fairly close to the book, which makes me like it all the more! The acting is better, the coloring is better, the camera angles are better, and the special effects are better.there was a few flaws though... at the close up shots of almost all the the characters you could see the contact lining... so too close. the cullen's eyes were too noticeable, Aro was flamboyant. Kristan stewart kept rubbing off robert patterson's make-up, and the make-up on his hands was flaking. over-all this was a great movie, just needed some cleaning up.
