I thought New Moon was great!!! This movie really stayed closer to the book's storyline alot closer than Twilight, but don't get me wrong I also loved Twilight!! Would definitely recommend this film!! It is worth seeing more than once!!! You won't be disappointed!!

I would give this movie an A+ it was great action packed with a fantastic cast! Chris Weitz followed the book and left out only minor details. Kristen Steward, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Ashley Greene were great and I dont think anyone else couldly the likes of their characters!!<333 Can't wait for Eclipse!~

Have to say I loved it.
They left out a few things from the book but it was wonderful to have a visual representation of what I have read!
I thought the actors did a really good job.
The only thing I would've changed about my experience were the people screaming everytime jacob or edward came on the screen or took off their shirts. Also whenever there wasa line that was serious they'd giggle. But back to the movie.
It was wonderful I would recomend it to anyone who loved the first one.
Oh and I think this new director did a great job!

This is the best book to movie transformation I've seen, hands down. The scenes were shot beautifully and the animation for the Wolves was exceptional. New Moon is certainly a higher quality film than Twilight. Some people didn't like the sound track but music is relative so it's different strokes for different folks. I personally enjoyed the soundtrack, just like the first movie, I plan on buying New Moon's soundtrack also. The movie was deeply satisfying and I highly reccomend it to Twilight fans who've read the books and those who haven't. Worth every penny. Looking forward to June 2010 when Eclipse comes out and I'll be there at the midnight showing.

New Moon was an amazing movie! The acting was even better. The way they showed how much pain Bella(Kristen) was going through when Edward(Robert) left her felt so real, I even felt that pain myself. I'm Team Edward the whole way but I won't deny that Jacob(Taylor) && the wollf pack were pretty good looking wolves. :) I give this a 100 out of 10!!!! I cant wait for Eclipse && especially Breaking Dawn!<333

The movie could have been half an hour long if they'd taken out the long shots of people's faces looking anguished. The plot simply wasn't as interesting as the first, the CG werewolves looked absurdly fake, and the cinematographer was way too obsessed with trucking in a circle around his subjects. I wish I had those hours back.

Read the books, ofcourse a few little things that I loved about New Moon was left out but thats all book turned movie. All in all it kept true to the fans and the books, way better then Twilight. I loved it, and will see it a few more times over the weeks, and you will be dang sure that Im dragging my boyfriend to see it. WOOT NEW MOON!!!

This movie was everything I expected and more!! It held very true to the book, was exciting and moving and everything you want a movie to be. I loved being in the theatre at midnight with all the other fans. I can only hope they hold true through the series. My hopes are high. Can't wait for Eclipse. The atmosphere was great. I took my 14 year old daughter for her birthday and it was a great time for both of us.

While it did leave out minor details of the story for the sake of time it was done extremely well. The actors all have such a great chemistry on screen that it helps the audience truly feel the story. They did such a fabulous job with this one that it makes the months waiting for the release of Eclipse in June seem painful.

This movie definitely did NOT disappoint! So true to the book, such great effects, and everyone looks a hundred times better/believable in this movie. I think the change in director was an awesome move and Chris Weitz did such a great job helping the book come to life.

I must say, I was worried about how well the movie would be in sync with the book. Twilight, the book was definitely better than the movie. New Moon, the book is awesome and so is the movie. I was not disappointed and will recommend it to all of my friends and family members (after they have read the book of course, for better understanding). This is a Blue-Ray must buy.!

It just seemed like this movie was thrown together. I felt like I was watching a soap oprah! There was no good music and it didn't have the feeling of the first one at all! I wasn't very happy.

After such a long buildup to New Moon it did not disappoint. If it weren't for the constant commentary from some audience members criticizing Edward and Bella it would have been perfect. There are technical issues with the movie I felt off a little. Though it did not ruin the storyline which is the real reason why fans flock to the movie. A few too many closeups. The first glimpse of Paul changing did not look right. However sitting from the 5th row of the theatre may have had something to do with my vantage point. Overall can't wait to see the movie again and again. Now the countdown to Eclipse.

We had a great time at the midnight showing of New Moon.
I went into the movie all about Edward. Even when I read the book, Jacob was more annoying than endering. Taylor did a fantastic job bringing Jacob to life. The relationship growing between him and Bella was believable. I was much more heartbroken for Jake in the movie.
I can't wait to see Eclipse in June. Yay, Chris Weitz. I loved the books and was so glad this movie stayed true to the story. No "extra" scenes or stupid add on dialogue. For anyone who truly enjoyed the books, this movie will make you happy. It's funny, it's sexy and a whole lot of fun

This movie definitelu surpassed Twilight. Although the book Twilight was awesome, the movie fell short. New Moon was simply amazing. It stayed extremely true to the book, and the acting was phenominal. Even if i wasn't a huge Twilight fan, I would still recommmend it to anyone. Omg, ths movie rocks.

I really enjoyed New Moon. It did not dissapoint which I can't say for Twilight. The acting, I thought was better. The characters appearance such as Carlisle Cullen, were no longer a joke. They modified on most of the faults of the first in my opinion. They made a better movie, complete with sticking to the book. Would I see it again? Most likely.

This movie was 10 times better than the first. Thank goodness Kristin Stewarts acting actually got a little better. Taylor Lautner was amazing, and not just because he was shirtless. His acting talents have grown immensely. The only downfall to this movie is the ending. But either way I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone and everyone!

I can't say much. It was a lot better then Twilight. It really could stand out alone. I was worried that he wouldn't stay as true to the book, but they kept it very true I to the book. I can't wait unil June to see the next one! I will be going back to the movies this weekend to see New Moon again!

This movie broke my heart, over and over again. I was pleasantly surprised since this was my least favorite of the four book series. I was happy with the emotional content as well as the level of action. It was well done. This movie will turn the most adamant Team Edward member to Team Jacob. It was amazing!

Obviously the movie did not end like the book did. Biggest disappointment was Dakota Fanning. Her character is supposed to be so beautiful she could make "angels cry." Everyone I know feels that she was the absolutely WRONG person for the part. She's not all that pretty... heck, all the other girls in the film are much more beautiful than she. Also, very disappointed in both of the films so far that the camera constantly focuses in on Bella's gaping mouthed face. What a waste of film. Other than that, the movie delivered what all the tweens and teens are looking for. Gives them the major drool factor. lol

I had high hopes for New Moon. It was slow and some bad acting in the beginning. It was like whoever wrote the screenplay thought everyone read the book so they didn't take the time to explain key things that were important to the plot. The wolves were cool but they cut key fight scenes and gave us snipets. Then the movie moved at lightning speed skipping all over the place. They took so long in the beginning that they ran out of time and just gave us the cliff note version. There was almost a certain element of lameness to this movie that was not in the first. I am a Pattinson fan but he needed to eat a sandwich. But maybe looking at Lautner's great body through the whole movie just killed my Edward high.

It was awesome to see the book come to life! I loved it from start to finish and even though I did not want it to end it was a great ending!!! Definitely left you wanting more. The werewolves were better than I thought they would be, very real and very intense. Edward was smoking HOT and Jacob was hotter than the last one for sure. This is a must see!!! Also, Hats off to Harkins for the quick check in and letting you go right into the movie and get a seat instead of creating havoc with cheesy roped off lines and then causing a frenzy by waiting til the last minute to "open the flood gates" like friends experienced at AMC.
