Twilight was a decent movie, and stayed mostly true to Stephenie Meyer's vision. New Moon was incredible. While the writers did take some creative license with the story, it was absolutely amazing. Having read the books several times, I had very high expectations for this movie, and it met just about every one of them.

From age 12 - 52 New Moon was a fabulous time. The movie was a great reward for all those that took the time to read the series! There are not a lot of events that moms and daughters can really have fun doing together. It was a big night and we will all remember spending time together!

The first movie was too low budget to do the book justice but this second one did a better job. Not midnight premier worthy, but very good. I'm conflicted since I always perfer the books over movies but the movie's are becoming thier own thing that makes them entertaining. I'll see the others!

New Moon had everything....action, suspense, romance, fantasy, and a little bit of Shakespeare. The settings and cinematography were much more vivid in this film than the first, and that actors seemed to have mastered their roles. It was a beautiful film filled with imagination and a great escape. I cannot wait to see what this talented director can do with Eclipse!! Was worth the hours in line!

This movie was well worth the wait. Twilight left me very dissatisfied. New Moon was very entertaining. The special effects were awesome and although it left you on a cliff hanger, I can't wait for the next one. It was true to the book and Jacob was quite yummy. I'm definitely going to see it again.

I knew from a few of the trailers New Moon would be a better movie than Twilight.
It was very very very good.
Taylor Lautner did an excellent job, he can act.
Bravo to you Mr Lautner!
It stayed pretty close to the book and I have no complaints.
And its a movie for men and women.
There were so many men there compared to the Twilight movie.
Everyone go see it!!

Twilight was slightly dissapointing and even though i still love it, New Moon was substantially better. It was more true to the book, it had the same feeling the book had, and there wasn't so many random shots like the first movie. Definetly not a dissapointment. i wanna see it again!!!!!

My 11 yr. old daughter and I saw the midnight premiere -- she's read all 4 books numerous times and has been lving for this day! I wasn't that impressed with Twilight and just went to New Moon for fun -- but I loved it! Both of us were caught up in it from the start and want to see it again. It really was great entertainment.

Ok I LOVED IT! Chris Weitz did an amazing job with this movie! The cast was outstanding! CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK AND BACK AGAIN!! I can not believe the difference between Twilight which was ok but different than the book. NEW MOON was the book and more than I ever thought it would be! I LAUGHED AND CRIED!! It is the movie of all movies to see:)

This movie was great..... totally worth the wait, I loved the fact that they stayed closer to the storyline than the first movie.... Im team Edward but I know how important it was for them to bulid a relationship between Bella and Jacob....I am HAPPY with it and can't wait for next year, hopfully they will add more running time to the movie cause I can't get enough.

Twilight, for me being such a big fan of the books, was not very good. I had high expectations for New Moon and I was not disappointed at all. The acting left me almost crying, laughing, and angry just like them. I thought that every intent detail that was needed in the book found its way in the movie perfectly and smoothly. I am very excited to see Eclipse.
I felt Robert actually portrayed Edward, the right way. I also felt, and this is a BIG for me, that New Moon did exactly what it should have done - it made me LOVE JACOB. I am a big Edward fan in the books, so I give that a job well done.

Compared to Twilight, this film was far more advanced. The movie was actually true to the book, and brought new depths to the characters. As a True Team Edward fan, I often felt myself begin to drift toward the adorable and pain stricken Jacob, which you can't help but adore. Eventually I find myself sure of the decision to honor Edwards rightful position at Bella's side. But his fantastic performance was heartfelt and enduring. The end of the movie seemed rushed compared to the first three quarters of the film, but in the end , as I gasped from the final words Edward declares to Bella and the movie comes to an end, I eagerly anticipate the next chronicle to this exciting saga. If you enjoyed the books you will want to see this film.

If "Twilight" = tasty appetizer, "New Moon" = the first course, full of meaty Quileutes, mouthwatering vamps, & just enough levity to not get completely sucked into Bella's depression. The movie is tightly written & filmed & only rarely strays from the book. Alongside some cheesy moments are many intentionally funny line from old reliables (Jessica, Mike, Charlie) & Emmett, Alice, and the wolves. Taylor Lautner is phenomenal and perfectly embodies what makes Jacob likable and necessary to the story. Having devoured this ample and satisfying first course, I anxiously await the second course of "Eclipse," and dessert (I hope of "Breaking Dawn." If you love the books, you'll be happy with this latest cinematic interpretation.

I was waiting forever to see this movie I had a countdown on my computer for christ's sake like down to the second it was a great movie but it's not in my favorite movies I've seen a lot of great movies if I hadn't have seen all the clips before the movie it would have been more intriguing the only thing i hated was how they started the previews at 12:12 instead 12:01 ...when they should've started cause I got there early...

This movie was long antisipated for me and it didn't disappoint. This was my least favorite book to read, (because I'm very much a team Edward person), but I actually liked New Moon better that Twilight. It had the right amount of humor mixed with suspence. I would recomend it, surely a suspenseful movie even if you've read the books. Just might have to ignore the hormonally over active teenage girls cooing and giggling through the entire movie over Jacob's half naked body!!

This moie was AWESOME! Some scenes did drag a little but overall the movie did not disappoint. It stayed true to the book and incorporated a few peices from the following books to make more sense out of what's happening and set up the next movie. It left you wanting more and I am waiting to see the next one on June 30, 2010. Can't wait because Eclipse will definitely blow the first to away but answer all of those lingering questions from New Moon.

I loved Twilight and New Moon totally surpassed my expectations. The graphics and cinematography was exactly what I had pictured in my head while I was reading the book. The ending was very abrupt and ticked me off a bit, but the rest of the movie makes up for it. I'm definitely watching this again before the DVD debuts.

New Moon was so much better than Twilight. I loved Twilight b/c it brought the book to life but the small budget was apparent. Not so for this one- the effects were great and the acting was much better. I am Team Edward all the way but Taylor did such an excellent job with Jacob that I really felt bad for him. Awesome movie! I'll definitely be seeing it again!

this was a great follow up to twilight! it followed the book pretty close. the werewolves were phenomenal! the graphics were top notch. when edward hears about bella jumping off the cliff you can see the excruciating pain he felt. they did a great job showing how even a vampire can have their heart broken. the make-up and even the wigs were better on this film, bravo to all who put this film together!!!

I am an AVID fan of the Twilight Series books, and, thefore, like many others was somewhat disappointed with the first film, Twilight. I went into New Moon with mediocre expectations and came out ABSOLUTLEY LOVING IT!
I would have liked to see more of the supporting characters, but the movie focused on what was important in this book, which is the relationship between Bella and Jacob.
Special effects where 1000% better (although there is always room for improvement).
And, finally, the ending was perfect and leaves fans waiting with anticipation for Eclipse which releases on June 30, 2010.

I was worried that it would be hard to buy into a "love triangle" with a fairly theatrically inexperienced Taylor Lautner. Sure he's cute, but could he pull off the romantic tension that the book had? Absolutely! Not only had he prepared physically for the role, but he showed an emotional depth I was unprepared for. A poor performance would have killed the movie; likewise, his beautiful performance made the movie more than I had hoped for. It's been out a day, and I've already seen it twice.....

I really enjoyed this movie! I felt the writers did a really good job of following the book. Of course, they couldn't put EVERYTHING in, but what they did put in was consistent with the book. I want to see it again!

OMG! I loved this movie.. As a 35 year old man this movie was such an awesome love story. I only wish I could find a werewolf in my neighborhood. This movie was great and it rated appropiately...The story line was excellent and really did justice to the fans.
