As vampire movies go, Twilight offered a new spin on an old tale with some interesting side plot accents. I did not like way the romanticism was portrayed in New Moon. I think it makes Bella out to be a bit of a Harlot, instead of a pining Mistress. . I did enjoy the bit of Romeo And Juliet involved in this movie however. All In All, I would pic this one up on DVD to catch up on the Plot Development that it covers, But i dont think it in any way warranted the line around the mall to get into the theater and the news coverage that ensued.. I’m glad Stewart made some money ,if I were 12 this would Probably be my favorite movie,Unfortunately, they made Desperately Seeking Susan first.

This film was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING MY HEART IS STILL BEATING UNCONTROLLABLY!! Chris Weitz did an UNBELIEVABLE job directing the film and he didn't disappoint AT ALL! Even though this was Jacob's movie, they still kept the EDWARD eye candy for us TEAM-EDWARD fans which I loved! And the BREAK-UP scene...WOW! The most powerful scene i've seen yet between Rob & Kristen! GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!!! And THANK YOU STEPHENIE MEYER & SUMMIT!!!!!!!!!!

This movie was really great, even though it differed from the book on some parts it still stuck to the main plot of the story and kept my interest the entire time. I left the theater wanting more and I cant wait to see it again. Go see this movie!

This was the best movie that I have truly ever seen! I am not as Die hard as most Twilight fans, but this really is the best movie and book series that I have ever read and watched! I am so glad I watched it and I plan to go back and see it again! Would recommend this movie to EVERYONE! Best Casting ever! All of the Characters were amazing and made you believe that it was real life!

Ok so i liked twilight a lot...i LOVE new moon!!Everyone did a great job.My only two kinda complaints about it are Jake didnt look 7 feet tall like he is in the books and Rosalie looks like poo...they did not do a good job at copying her look from the first movie at all!!Yea and Robert Patterson better watch out cause i think after fans see New Moon there may be a lot of switching from team edward to team jacob lol i dont think he has anything on Taylor Lautner except a couple years lol!Good job to him for bulking up to run with the wolf pack!I bought my advance tickets for the midnight opening and stood in the cold in a long line to see this movie and it was worth it...actually gonna do it again next friday lol.Worth every penny!

I didn't feel the love connection between Bella and Edward like in the film Twilight. Volturi was a little sissy looking. They didn't look as mean and cruel as described in the book. Plus the Cullen family were different then in Twilight. Jasper spoke with a southern accent in this film and not in Twilight.
The one cool thing about the movie is the wolves. They did an excellent job transforming the Quilette tribe into them.
Cant wait to see what they do with Eclipse.

New Moon was definitely better than Twilight, the animation on the wolf pack was great, action sequences were awesome. It was very fast paced. My only problem was that some of the acting was poor, it just sounded like they were reading a line from the script, the emotion wasn't there (in some scenes). One scene that sucked was when Bella jumped off the cliff, the simulated ocean was horrible. All in all a good movie.

I wish they had replaced Melissa Rosenberg as the screenwriter after the first Twilight film. The dialogue was very cheesy and lacking in many scenes. I think for any audience member who has not read the books, the film might be a little harder to get. The special effects were much better this time around, and overall it was a much better movie than the first Twilight film. The soundtrack is great, as well. The CGI wolves are amazing, but definitely look too computer generated, which hurts the suspension of disbelief. The Volturi scenes were the best part of the film. Michael Sheen and Dakota Fanning were very creepy. It was a good enough film, but it wasn't amazing. The book is better.

I thought the movie was really fast paced compared to the book and I'm honestly not sure if they caught a lot of the significance of different characters and events but overall it was fun to watch and I'm really looking forward to the next one in June of 2010!!
I definitely think the special effects were awesome, specially the wolves!

I felt the movie did justice to the book (as much as a 2 hr movie can) and the sceenes were very nicely set up and quite memorable. Jake was the main attraction of the movie and the character that had mostly evolved...good job Taylor!
If you are a sucker for love stories, vampires and big wolves, this is a must see

Although I enjoyed the first movie, New Moon was much, much better! It was as true to the book as it could be plus it was funny, romantic and full of action. It would have been nice to see more of the Cullens and the Volturi but then it wouldn't have been true to the book. Kudos to Taylor Lautner. He did a great job as Jacob Black and to all who thought he couldn't pull off a "huge", twenty somethingish wolfman...no worries!

This sequal truly lived up to the hype and more. It seemed like it was 15 minutes long and the ending is terrific. I was thoroughly entertained and any redblooded (no pun intended) Twilight fan will love it. I can't wait to go again.

This was definately something totally different from what I expected. Last year twilight wasn't exactly awesome there were a lot of things in which i didn't agree and due to this i came with the mentality that New Moon was going to suck but it didn't. I actually followed the plot and they tried to used as many lines from the book as possible and I really liked that. I have to say that it was amazing in my point of view with the exception that i don't like Kristen Stewart as Bella. She doesn't ... fullfilled what Bella is all about.

Definitely a step up from Twilight in production value. Jacob's wolf looks good in special effects. Unfortunately, the acting still suffers in some places. Awkward at parts, some things were just unnecessary. Glittering is still weird. Will most likely see again. Overall, pretty true to the book and a Twilight fan is satisfied.

I definitely think they did better with this book. However I could use more of Taylor Lautner being half naked. Some of the parts they definitely changed from the book and that's a bit disappointing. But it was much much better than the first. And the guy who plays Charlie is fantastic! Especially with the lines they added in for him. Go see it!!!

The movie tryed to stay as close as they can do the book with a few differences, the movie was a little fast but then again it's a movie and if you had the whole book in there it would be a 5 hour movie. So all in all it was excellent! I loved it in every way possible and it was way better than Twilight. I'm so going to see it 100 more times, as I did for twilight.

i might be all about new moon but i know when a movie is good or not, twilight was not..it was good because i love the series and ive read all the books but as a movie it was a bit complicated to understand but in NEW MOON! there was more fluidity in the movie And im team edward but this movie hade parts that it made me doubt if bella should be with edward or just give jake a try and thats saying something! im all for TEAM EDWARD but Taylor Lautner was able to portray Jacob Black amazingly he did his job amazingly the CGI was beyond of what twilight had...the main point is that New Moon was a movie to watch, its already broken records with midnight showing it out did Dark Night and Harry Potter, that in itself should speak for something

I loved this movie.I do not care what people say about it being a stupid teen drama filled with characters who are only adored because of their looks it is much more than that. It is action-packed with romance and so much more. I love this movie and represents the book much better than Twilight. I will defiantly see this movie again! Good job actors,actresses,Chris Weitz, and everyone else!!! Plus great soundtrack! :)

This is a much better film than Twilight was, although I must be grateful for the casting from the beginning. The performances of Pattinson and Lautner were excellent. I was put off by many of Stewart's odd mannerisms in Twilight, but I must say that she's matured greatly and gave a great performance in this film. Chris Weitz is to be commended for his dedication to using the book at the basis for his directing decisions. The film vas visually stunning and the warm color palette made it feel more real than Twilight. The CGI was great especially the movement of the vampires and of course, the wolves. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and I will definitely be seeing it several more times.

I loved Twilight, but New Moon was amazing! It made me cry and laugh. I definitely recommended it to my friends! The only thing about it is that these boys in it, Edward and Jacob, are not like real boys. They are fantasy, which sucks. But nevertheless, it was an amazing movie!
