For someone like me, who was very disappointed with the first movie, I thought 'New Moon' was completely awesome! It went by the book really well. I was worried before the movie came out that NOTHING was going to be like the book. But it was really spot on. I mean, of course they added a few things, and took out a few things. But all the most important scene were in there from the book. And a little more. So I really think a lot of people would enjoy this movie, even if you haven't seen the first one. :)

This movie was certainly better done then the first movie, the soundtrack, the acting, the script, the directing, the acting, the emotions and the effects are all GREAT. I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS MOVIE!

I gotta say New Moon by far overshadows Twilight in so many ways. Kristen Stewart really expressed the pain that Bella was going through and the happiness she was experincing with Jacob.
Taylor Launter really held his own as Jacob and really helping hold the movie while Edward's, Robert Pattinson, was gone.
And of course, Robert Pattinson really demonstrated the pain of leaving.it really did tug at your heart.
I must next commend Chris Weitz for doing a fantastic job in direction. This movie really did outshine Twilight. New Moon moved at a great pace and I never got bored. The ending will keep you wanting more...trust me.

I'd rate this movie somewhere between losing your arm to flesh eating bacteria and AIDs on the list of things I'd never wish for. First off the Wolf CGI was bad. Itlooked like someone held an autistic child at gunpoint and forced him to render that animation.The absolute worse part?
*Spoiler Alert*
The movie blows.
It literally is like watching a man take a dump on your front lawn for two hours. Sure, some will argue the artistic merit of said "dump" but most normal people see it for what it is. A big, steaming, pile.

I was so nervous to have New Moon finally start (I had butterflies in my stomach & held my breath as it started) Everyone did a great job!!
Completely wonderful - loved how it was brought to life on screen. I'm going to watch it again asap! Can't wait for Eclipse & Breaking Dawn!!

New Moon is a great movie, as long as you know what is going on! I am a huge fan of the novels and this movie more than met my high expectations. However, MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT NEW MOON IS ABOUT BEFORE SEEING IT! It will make much more sense that way and you will appreciate it so much more. So, if you didn't read the book have someone that did read it explain it to you or look up summaries online (more than just the movie synopsis) before seeing the movie. It will tie up loose ends and just make it so much better. Also, seeing or reading Twilight before New Moon is a MUST. Overall, it was an EXCELLENT movie and I can't wait to see it again tonight. Thank you so much to the cast & crew for bringing this great book to life!

I have to preface this review by saying that I did not read the books. I did see the first movie and thought it was better. I was disappointed in the acting, the dialogue and the special effects. I think without all the hype and anticpation of the follow-up to Twilight, that this movie at best would be a good dollar rental on a Friday night at Redbox. The ending was abrupt. People in our theater thought the film broke. I am not sure I would watch it again,

i am not biased at all, dont get me wrong rob patts is pretty sexy but taylor takes the cake! omg shirtless scenes galore! me and my girlfriends were going insane! this movie was also directed alot better than the first so thumbs up to the new director!!! everything was included, soooo happy nothing was cut out. enjoyed it beyond words!!!

Weitz makes up for all the lacking Hardwicke had in Twilight. New Moon stuck extremely close to the book, and that's something the fans are very excited about. The coloring of the movie is richer than Twilight, and so is the actual storytelling. Overall, Weitz did a phenomenal job.

New Moon was light years better than Twilight - and I liked Twilight. It was intense and fast-paced and stayed much more true to the book. They did a nice job of keeping Edward involved throughout the movie. The wolfpack was amazing and all the fx were much better than in Twilight. I saw it last night at midnight and am seeing it again tonight - can't wait!!

Taking into consideration that New Moon was my least favorite of the entire Twilight Series... I still had high expectation for the film. The movie was fantastic! The werewolf transformation parts were flawless and the Volturri were actually quite creepy. I can't wait for Eclipse to come out next year!

This movie will not dissapoint the Twilight fans! It followed the book really close, a lot of the time it felt like I had seen it before just b/c when I read the book, it was exactly how I imagined it! The only thing I didn't like was the music. I thought Twilights music was much better, made me want to run out and buy the CD. Not for New Moon though. However, the movie itself made up for any lack of great music, lol!

I didn't enjoy this movie as much as the first. I felt there was a lot of teenaged drama in this one that wasn't as apparent in the first. It seemed awkward to me that Jacob wasn't wearing a shirt most of the time, and he looked uncomfortable when he walked and ran. I found it difficult to believe Bella would have been attracted to both of these guys, they are nothing alike. My date and I actually laughed a lot during the movie, but I don't think it was SUPPOSED to be funny. I hope the next one redeemes itself.

Twilight does a wonderful job of appealing the teenage girl and her fantasies. . However, many aspects of this and the other Twilights are terrible for instance the script, the dialogue is terrible its almost exactly the same thing over and over again, tired the characters have no depth the only characters i enjoy are the supporting cast emmett alice charlie. its ok for a teenage girl to be a babbling simpleton around the boy her dreams it kind of happens. However a 110 year old vampire acting like a emotional child incapable of making well any significant decisions and repeating the same dialogue again and again.

After i waited in line for 30 min, then in the theater for 3 hours, i was overall satisfied with the outcome of the film. Even though I believe the movie did jump scenes too quickly, it did represent those scenes well.

okay the wolves were fantastic and I think if in 3D it would be awesome. but it was still great. I love how the wolves looked so alive. I hated how they had Harry have a heartattack because of Victoria and the Wolves when really it was the fact that both his kids changed into wolfs more of Lea the first girl changing..It was good I was disappointed I didnt cry at the break up scene like i did with the book...but thats because personally i dont think Kristin is that great of an actress in this movie, or in twilight but it was enough to make me not watch it...i love edward (rob) and i love the humor that some of the scene were that made me laugh, but I am diffently gonna watch it again and buy the DVD.

New Moon really followed the book and kept the whole tone of the book too. It was definitely a more emotional and deeper book than twilight and the movie definitely showed that. Jacob really fit his character and the acting from Kristen Stewart was MUCH better. I feel like she really followed her character. Just the direction of the whole movie kept me wanting more, ESPECIALLY the ending! cannot wait for Eclipse!

it was AMAZING, the vampires makeup and look actually made them feel mystical and magical rather than actual normal people with a lil paleness to them, like in twilight. Overall feel was great and loved how much they included in this one, kept it so true to the book i just love love loved it!!! loved the interaction with edward and bella way more touchy feely, it was an awesome movie cant wait to see it again

New Moon was a better movie in comparison to Twilight. If I had any complaints it's that it felt a bit too concise and things played out too quickly from one part to the next. Her relationship with Jacob was not developed enough compared to the book. I understand that I can't compare the book to the movie, but I think they could have improved on somethings. Also if no one had read New Moon they might have been confused about somethings that were not explained. However the fight sequences between the wolves was AMAZINGLY done. Also every other fight sequence was just awesome as well. I would see it again and again. I would DEFINITELY recommend it to anyone!

I loved New Moon. MUCH better than Twilight. I was a bit disappointed in the Twilight movie versus the book. New Moon took the book to a whole NEW level! The werewolves were amazing! I saw the movie after a long day at work and school, but never even got droopy eyed. Kept me on the edge of my seat. I was a bit surprised at the ending, but since I already read all of the books, I know what happens next. I didn't want the movie to end!

The director did an amazing job with this movie! I really liked it, the dialogue was really good and the special effects looked amazing. Taylor Lautner did an amazing job with his role, I'm really glad they let him play Jacob.
I loved the action that the werewolvs and the Volturri put into the movie as well as those few funny scenes (the man who played Bella's Dad was really good as always)
I can't wait for the third installment and hopefully that new director will do a great job like Weitz did!
