I have been waiting for months to see this movie and it was awesome! It kept with the book pretty well. It had humor, suspense, action, romance and drama all together. Fans will not be disappointed. I must say even Bellas character improved her acting in this film. Her love for Edward and desire was truly played well. I am ready to see Eclipse now.

Thought it was really wonderful. Did not go exactly like book, but stayed with the story-line and feel of series. Bella and Jacob were amazing. After seeing movie, my daughter is finally hooked and excited to read series. Even though everyone complained about the ending...I loved it. What a cliff hanger. Cracked up when I saw add for Eclipse already in theatre lobby.

It really captured the big Hollywood Blockbuster style that Twilight lacked. The graphics were INTENSE. Makes me anticipate for Eclipse.

I loved New Moon, it was perfect! I loved it even more then I loved Twilight. The flow was perfect and the effects were great. I would recommend this movie to Twilight fans and non Twilight fans the world round.

I have never read the books, so I didn't know what to expect in either of the movies, and I liked what I saw. It kept my attention, and the love struggle makes me want to crawl back for more. I also loved the "Shirts Optional" policy in this movie, nothing like a handsome man with a beautiful body!

The acting was SO much better in New Moon than in Twilight, they've definitely worked hard to get into character this time around. The make up was a lot more natural-looking (or as close to "natural" as possible with vampires being undead), more action, much more fast-paced, and good CGI effects. Can't wait for Eclipse! If they stick with this director, the movie series can only get better. :)

Those of you who liked twilight will be in LOVE with New Moon. It's much more colorful, interesting, and has a big cliff hanger ending. Totally unexpected for those who didn't and did read the series. You will leave wanting more. Definately worth your time and momey. Oh and soooo funny!

I watched Twilight first before I even considered reading the books, and enjoyed the movie. Once I read Twilight, I was hooked. Stephanie Meyers did a phenominal job at grabing my attention, that I read all four books back to back. What I liked about twilight was that the director/and writer stuck to the book, of course with a few minor details. And New Moon was great; again, the director and writer stayed true to the books, with a couple minor details, but I enjoyed every minute of the movie. I am looking forward to how the Elicpse, and Breaking Dawn (specifically Breaking Dawn) will turn out.

Fabulous! Great! Loved it! I am not sure who wrote the screenplay for this installment of the movie---------but keep them on staff! Thank you Chris Weitz for giving us a movie that is second only to the book. The storylines from the book were well combined when needed for time constraints, the flow of the movie much better than the first. Each character was presented both physically and emotionally on a higher level this movie.

I am a huge fan of the series, so just about any movie they produce I would love....but was I ever pleased at the great job they did on New Moon! Boy, oh boy think of what Twilight would have been like if Chris Weitz had directed it?! I too cannot wait for Eclipse in June. Woo-hoo!!

Better than Twilight, and I loved that one! The special effects were amazing! I thought the wolves might look fake but I was wrong! The acting in this movie was better too! I think Kristen, Robert, and Taylor did a terrific job! They are all so gorgeous too! I laughed and cried, full of suspense and action.The director did a great job w/ keeping the story as close to the book as possible. some things were missing but it made up for it! they were able to keep a lot of Bella's thoughts in the movie w/o making it bad/leaving out the important stuff. The transformation was awesome too! Overall, a great movie to see! I saw it 1st on opening night & I'm going back tomorrow to see it again! I love the Twilight Saga!!!!

I am so impressed with NM. Not only did the production team ramp it up so did the actors. Everyone's performance was A++++++++. Stewart captured Bella's pain and agony perfectly. Must see movie!!!

Loved every minute of it. Relieved by the lack of swear words that degrade scripts and the overall movie experience. This was good fun. Enjoyed the character development of Bella and Jacob. Missed Edward the entire time, and wish only that the Edward-Bella reunion scenes and return to Forks had not been so choppy. I would sit thru an additional 1/2 hour to see more of Edward there at the end. Bella's heart wasn't the only one breaking when he left!

I enjoyed this movie more than Twilight. The CGI was excellent and Chris Weitz did an amazing job directing the movie. Having read the books I already knew the plot, still I was wanting more and watching the screen wandering what would happen next. Robert pattinson and amazing as always Taylor Lautners hard work showed. However Kristen I was hoping would have improved, her expression as always is the same blank stare and did not seem to be doing much acting. Even that did not ruin the movie, however the next I anticipate will be better since the Cullens will have a bigger role than in this one. So happy I went to the midnight showing and it was worth getting only 3 hours of sleep. GO SEE THIS MOVIE !!!

New Moon far exceeded my expectations. I thought it would be good but it was amazing! Twilight was a great film but New Moon has out shined the first! Taylor Lautner's boyish mannerisms were funny and heartbreaking. Edward's struggle with himself in this movie was mind blowing, and the pain Bella felt you felt! I would see this movie 10 more times in the theater!

My opinion is not based on EC or JB being "hot". I liked "New Moon" the book, because I thought that there was something sweet blooming between Jacob & Bella. Bella becomes whiny and seriously pathetic in the book and the movie. She should've chosen Jacob all along. He's what is best for her and wouldn't hurt her like Edward did. Visually, the movie is pretty good. The acting, sorry all, is horrendous. I don't know if it's just the way the lines were delivered or if it's the actors themselves. Side note: Rob P. needs to eat. I get that he's supposed to be pale, but when he took his shirt off...weird and creepy skinny. Not flattering at all. So go Team Jacob.
