Thought the new director did a great job and did the book justice. I was also pleased at how many times I was laughing (out loud) during the movie. Stephanie Meyer wrote humor into the story and it was carried into the movie. I am now really looking forward to seeing Eclipse.

This movie was excellent compared to twilight. Much Much better graphics and acting, and it followed the original story line better. Though it did deviate a bit at the end. I also believe that Stephanie Meyer was more involved in the making of these movies, than any of the many author who's books have been "filmafied" recently, and if she saw them fit to air, who are we to complain - it's her world to do with as she pleases.
I love her writing style, who are we to say her imagination cannot add tidbits like the way Harry Clearwater really died. Most good authors write for their own enjoyment and the love of sharing their thoughts and fantasies with others. That's why her books are such a hit! Because she telling us her day dreams.

Where Twilight lacked the telling of HOW Bella and Edward fell in love, New Moon shows Jacob and Bella's journey with detail, angst, AND humor. In fact, it shows it well enough to have me asking WHY at the end. Then again, the end will leave moviegoers anxiously awaiting the next installment. Not perfect, but a far cry better than its predecessor.

Enjoyed this one much better than Twilight. This was not my favorite book of the series, but the movie was terrific. It was great to see "Bella" act a little more instead of being so wooden as she was in Twilight. Would have liked to see more of the interaction with Jacob's people as portrayed in the book. In all, I loved this movie.

Normally, the sequel to the movie is not good. I am impressed. I didn't even want to watch it, except for my daughter. Pleasantly surprised. If you haven't seen the movie, go, you'll enjoy. I did however, hate the ending. Will wait until the next one :-)

I am a fan of the books, but the first movie did not impress me. Considering that this was my least favorite book in the series (Bella was too whiny/selfish & used Jacob-and there was just not enough Edward) I think they really did a good job and I preferred this to Twilight. They condensed the story very well (although a few parts were a bit off from the book) the acting/graphics were much better. The 'sparkling' was better and Carlisle's makeup was a great improvement. All around it was a much better movie.

New moon deffinately was a step up from twilight. While i enjoyed twilight, new moon had more action and excitment in it. I think the actors did a great job at portraying the characters emotions. It takes you from heart ache to friendship and love in a matter of minutes. deffinately worth seeing again!

I must say i am addited to the books. I could not wait to see New Moon. It was awesome, loved and i mean loved the scenes with Jacop!! Wished there would have been more of them. There were a few things left out that were in the book but hey, they can't really put everything that was in the book in the movie!! The ending left me wanting MORE!!! But over all great movie and can't wait for Eclipse!!

This movie did exactly what it was supposed do in the sense that it showed the beauty of both Edward and Jacob physically and emotionally. There was no true action as many were looking for. I would suspect that it will follow in the making of Eclipse.

I absolutly loved this movie. I went with my mom, sister in law and a friend and we all had such a good time. Edward and Jacob are extremely sexy and all of the characters look absolutly gorgeous!!!

to hear screams of pleasure from the teenage girls around you in the theater. Especially when Jacob removes his clothes and parades around half naked during the film! The movie itself is good, the script better than the first and special effects much better. You can tell they spent a little more money on this one. I still don't like the choice of actors for Edward or for Bella ...unfortunately it's not like you can change them now. Stewart is, as always, very one dimensional. I never felt Pattinson was the "most beautiful man" ever as the book describes. I must say that, while I didn't scream in pleasure watching Taylor Lautner take his clothes off...if was a nice view. ;~)

New Moon was my least favorite of the book series. But after seeing the trailers, I became excited to see the movie. I actually thought that the movie could be better than the book. WRONG! Most of the movie was nothing more than a music video for the soundtrack. And any action that would take place over several chapters in the book, would be condensed and squeezed into a 3 minute segment of the movie. Twilight (the movie) was ok too, but Eclipse is my favorite book of the series. And after 2 strikes, I'm definatley hesitant to watch the next movie. I do not want to be disappointed again!

First of all this is much better than Twilight probably because they are getting deeper into the story. Kristen Stewart seemed to actually show some emotion in this film unlike the first although I think she is still lacking in certain scenes. This movie made me remember how sad I feel for Jacob when I was reading the books. I think these movies are justn going to get better as they go, Thank God we only have to wait until Summer for the next. : o )

I love this movie! Love is not the word. this movie is so good I have to watch it over and over! The hot guys are all shirtless and the story is just as fascinating! I was scepticle about this movie. I thought it was a teeny bopper movie, but WOW I am a believer now! Totally hooked and can't wait till the next one. The ending leaves something to be desired, but it in no way detracts from the awesomeness of this movie! Oh and FYI Jacob Black's abs needs to be seen on the big screen in high def. You'll be a better person for it!

I have sen both twilight and New Moon and I am hooked. Took my daughter and had a great night. The lines were a bit longer then we figure being and hour and a half early. This movie gave us everything we expected and more. It was full of action as well as the love story we have come to know. The only disapointment was the cliff hanger and knowing we have to wait for Eclipse to come and cast it's spell on us all over. My daughter and I are hungry for more and can't wait for more.
