You know how every book that's made into a movie... The Book is always better. Well New Moon was true to the book in the best way it could possibly be... I rate it 5stars because it did it justice and I'm happy that I stood in line for 3 hours just to get good seats and enjoy a good movie. To the cast of NEW MOON good job everyone! can't wait to see you all in Eclipse. :)

This movie kept me watching on and on... wasn't like one of those movies where you fall asleep.
A definite must see for all the book-lovers and fans of fun, action, great effects, and story.
The end is just fantastic, and I can't want for the next one.

I would definitely recommend it - the characters are more convincing than in twilight. Jakob and Edward were gorgeous - never seen my daughter so excited.....climactic ending...funny!

This was a much better quality film than the first. There were too many slow, dramatic pauses that made the movie longer than I thought it shoul've been. But the movie was great! The guys looked hot and there was a good amount of humor in it too.

I am a grandmother of 6 who happens to love this book series. This movie was a wonderful
second part of twilight. I e-mailed my granddaughters immediately after and told them how good it was, I can't wait for the third movie to come. Will definitely go to see this movie again with friends.Don't stand on line after once you get t to the theater, retrieve them from ticket machine.

As a fan of the Twilight series (even though I'm probably too old to be one), I was hugely impressed with "New Moon". Yes, of course, there were several scenes from the book that were left out, but that's to be expected with any film adaptation. Granted, there were a few scenes that were a little silly (Alice's vision of Bella as a vampire...I think they could have come up with something a little better than that!), but overall I was beyond happy with the whole movie. Now I'm looking forward to "Eclipse"!!

I haven't read the books but really liked this movie. My girlfriend has read the books and said the movie followed it very close. She loved the movie too and can't wait for the 3rd one to come out. Special effects were great and was better than the 1st movie. Actors and actresses were a very good choice. I have already recommended this movie to my friends. I will buy the movie for my girlfriend when it comes out.

I am a huge fan of the books since the first one 'Twilight' came out in 2005. I was very pleased to learn they were making the books into the movies.
I was rather disappointed in the first movie, but am happy to review that 'New Moon" was AWESOME. I think the storyline and scenes were more fluid and there was alot more humor and action (the graphics were pretty cool).
The acting is what always kills me. I often feel that it is over dramatized and hardly any commitment to the main characters part. I definately think that Taylor Lautner was amazing as Jacob (and very handsome as well.).
This movie is worth seeing in theaters. Kudos to everyone who helped make the movie what it is and I cant wait for the next one!!

I enjoyed it and would see it again!! I had not read the book before seeing Twilight, but after reading it, it seemed there was alot left out of the movie. New Moon was like I was reading the book again. I can't wait for the next one!!

I have read all four books and loved them. I didn't really care for the first movie. I couldn't stand Kristen Stewart.
But I liked her a lot more in New Moon, not as much blinking and lip biting which was an improvement hands down.
They followed the book a lot more closely and didn't try so hard to make everything as funny as they did in the first where it felt like they were trying so hard to get a laugh from the audience.
Everyone is making a big deal about how all the wolves are shirtless the entire time, but that's how it is in the book.
It was good, but of course, it's mainly people who read the books who love the movies. I'm just saying GENERALLY.
Overall, I thought it was much better than Twilight and am excited for Eclipse.

Besides the fire alarm going off during the movie and being trampled on the way back in, the movie was amazing. I am so happy that it was almost entirely like the book and I am definitely going to see it again and again!

As a huge fan of the series, Twilight was an entertaining movie however not well made or true to the book. Although I was EXTREMELY excited for New Moon, my expectations were set a little low. However, I could have gone into the movie with the highest of expectations and come out absolutely satisfied. I have read New Moon four times, and the movie's accuracy to the book and detail was incredible. I was blown away by the Volturi; Aro was incredible. I also felt that the sappiness that seemed evident in Twilight was more subtle in this film and that the acting was much improved. AKA--GO SEE THIS. IT WAS AMAZING!!!

Love the movie.. Although I did not get to happy when Bella chose Edward instead of Jacob, he is 10,000 times better than Edward.. It's like Bella was on crack not to notice that Jacob was a much better match for her. Overall I loved all the wolves scenes they were really great. The vampire fight were cheezy and boring. The excitement and action was only when Jacob was around.. Clearly without him, the movie would have been very boring.
