New Moon was a wonderful translation of the book to film. There were liberties that had to be taken to make the movie more effective (Bella "sees" Edward instead of hearing him in her hallucinations), but altogether this was a very good adaptation. The budget the film had was apparent in the amazing visual effects. But they didn't overwhelm, and the emotions and subtle humor shone through. The music chosen for the movie was perfect. "Possibility" by Lykke Li, was very moving as Bella descends into depression. Great movie, go see it again and again!

This movie was way too long and packed with sappy cliches and a very weak storyline. The only good thing was the audience was very expressive so for instance when Jacob's shirt came off the first the crowd swooned....As it turned out I found myself waiting for these responses rather than seeing the movie. It ended too abruptly and you know that "Eclipse" is fast in coming. All in all I would say if you plan to see it, be prepared, this is no oscar winning performance.

Robert pattinson is perfectly cast- so great to see him portray this strikingly handsome character. Kristen Stewart also very good as usual and Taylor Lautner brought a good performance. Seemed to move a little slow at the beginning but they may be because I knew the book and knew what was coming. Knew there would be less of Edward and it only makes the anticipation of seeing him again greater which is not a bad thing

I knew that changing directors would take this movie to the level it should be. This movie follows the book almost to a T except for the Volturi scene, which they needed to bring action into the movie. The books are a bit too safe. Even in Breaking Dawn, no one really fights nor dies so to make it a good movie, they have to spice it up and I'm glad they did. Kristen Stewart and TAYLOR LAUTNER did a phenomenal job with showing the nature of their relationship evolving. Great movie and major congratulations to the director Chris Weitz, because this movie was amazing because of him. Bella is actually tanned and the Cullens are paler unlike in Twilight. The WOLVES, oh PAUL is smokin' hot! Whew! I love the wolves and I can't wait to see eclipse!

All book fans of the Twilight Series were nervous when they starting making movies of these loved books, however, New Moon staying very true to the book so book fans can rejoyce. It has action, suspense, comedy, romance, sci-fi, and drama. I would totally recommend this to any one.

While New Moon was definitely better than Twilight, I still wasn't all that impressed. It stayed pretty true to the book, but it jumped around a lot and left many details out that were important. There were some pretty "cheesy" parts in it...but not nearly as many as were in Twilight. I would obviously recommend this movie to anyone who has read the book, but most likely would not recommend to someone who has not had the true literary Twilight Saga experience.

The movie New Moon was a really good adaptation of the book, keeping in mind there will always be some discrepancies. Fortunately the director did a good job of keeping the discrepancies minor while ensuring all major aspects of the book were covered. The scene with Alice's vision of Bella's future in Volterra was a little cheesy looking but overall great film & most importantly it wasn't crammed into an hour and a half film!!

This movie was excellent. I would see it again. The ending is phenomenal and left me wanting more! I can't wait for Eclipse to begin showing in June. I am Team Edward. While I admit that Jacob is totally hot and buff in this movie, Edward is just too irrestible.

I want to go see this movie again tonight. Although i had to push and shove to get it, it was worth it. It followed the book pretty well and the actor's acting was much better than the first. Edward looked dashingly handsome, obviously. While, Jacob strutted his stuff nicely. Go see it! NOW!

Amazing. Awesome. Radical. Fantastic.
I am in love with this movie. There are way more words to describe this movie. I highly highly recommend the movie. It was so much fun to watch and there was so much action. It was pretty intense. I will watch it again and again. And honestly it was better than the first one. But I loved the first movie too. The ending was very sweet. Can't wait for Eclipse.

If you hated Twilight and you refused to see another one, you have to give this one another shot. You can definitely tell that more money was put into this movie because the quality was much better. Taylor Lautner not only is hot, but he was the best actor and part ofthe movie. Move aside Rob Pat, you've got competition! Overall, this movie will leave you with chills as you exit the theatre!

I absolutely love New Moon. I think that everyone did a fantastic job getting into the role of their characters and made us actually feel the heartbreak that each character in there own was going through. I laughed and cried and I dont think the special effects could have gotten any better, they were fabulous. Thankyou so much for making such a great movie.

I agree that overall the movie was AWESOME!! I wish they would have focused on Bella and Jacob's relationship a little more so we fully understand the intensity between them in the later books. I was also a little disappointed with Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattionsons acting, in Twilight I could actually feel how intense their relationship was, but not so much in New Moon. I wasn't in love with it, but I had to watch Twilight twice before I became a fanatic, so I'm sure it will be the same with New Moon.

OK -- I'm a crazy Twilight Mom ... but I've been skeptical of the movies bcz I so adore the books. Although there are some departures, this movie was really great. I felt it captured the spirit of the book and I loved the visual images. The wolf pack was awesome, the Volturri were creepy, and Edward, Bella, and Jacob were are gorgeous and complex as ever. Great Job! You'll love it!

When you read a book you really get to know the characters. When you get to see the characters come to life on the screen it is the ultimate experience. I cried at least 4 times during the movie because I feel so connected to the characters and the story. Of course I also laughed! I saw it last night and I want to see it again and again already! I will be looking forward to the next movie with a smile on my face and my heart pumping!

A great movie, it stayed true to the book as best a movie can get without getting boring deffinatly better than the first but i think what they used at the end for a hook for the next movie kinda dumb cuz they skiped about half a book but i thought that the way they explained harry clearwaters heart attack was genius!!!! but it needed a little more action which im hoping for in the next filim, since the next movie should emphisize on the army victoria forms........... YAY!!!! COUNTING DOWN TILL JUNE

This was much better than Twilight with the special effects. Good storyline, main characters had very good chemistry which definitely adds to the entertainment value. I would definitely go see it again.
