I am already a Twilight Saga fanatic, but this movie exceeded my expections. It didn't veer off from the book, the quality of the film was better than Twilight, the director's viewpoint was great, the cinematography/graphics were amazing, the characters looked alot better as far as make-up and just their overall physical appearance than they did in Twilight, I could go on and on.. In my opinion, Twilight was awesome, but New Moon was better in a lot of ways and I am stoked about the following movies to come! Can't wait til June 30th for Eclipse!!!

Better than the first installment, but still...HORRIBLE. Stupid, stupid story. What an awful model for young girls. It might feel like the end of the world when your love breaks up with you, but you get over it. What Bella & Edward have is not true love. It is obsessive. The only good thing about letting my 12-year old daughter see this movie is that it provided a springboard for a relationship discussion.
Robert Pattinson's acting is terrible. He doesn't convey a deep, tortured protector; instead he is flat and colorless, like his make-up covered skin.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Loved the movie. I could tell the confidence level in the acting in all all characters. I love the idea of different directors. Love the fact the movie stays really close to the book. I enjoyed every minute of it. I felt the pain and the joy. Great job. I intend on seeing it a few more times at the movies and buying the DVD when it comes out.

I personally feel nothing could top the first movie, but the effects and over all presence of New Moon is that it is pretty close!! It was much more true to the book than the first movie!!! I saw it twice on openning day and it just kept getting better!!!

I saw the midnight showtime for Thursday night. And everything about it was great. Like the acting, C.G.I., the emotion of the movie, the action, the romance. It really was close the picture u get when you read the book. This movie was truly better than the first movie, "Twilight". Also the ending will make you want to see the next of the Twilight Saga movie so badly in June. In the end, the movie is a "must watch" Also one word to describe the movie would be "...spectacular.." We will be looking forward for the next Twilight Saga movie.

Everybody of any age should check it out. Make sure you do see Twilight first or u will be lost. I do think some people who have not read the books might be alittle lost but u still will be able to figure out the movie!! Even though I am a true team Edward fan, the werewolves or actually shape changers stole the show!!! The best part would have to be when the Volturi clan comes into play. They did a great job portaring how Stephenie invisioned them in the books!! The lust of blood and power runs through their veins!! Men out there u might get alittle bored during the first hour of the movie cause it shows the connection between Bella & Jacob, but it kicks into some action during the last part!! 3 words for u... vampire ripped apart!!

This movie was so much better than the first one. The director change was awesome. I could literally almost feel Bella's pain. It stayed very true to the book with a few changes that were necessary and added to the greatness of the movie. I loved everything about this movie, it was so great!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent film. Much better director. Clearly he demanded better performances out the actiors this time. Exciting, intriguing, exhilarating! Loved seeing more of Taylor Lautner! He definitely has a future!! Rob was glorious as Edward as always!! What a beautiful film! Kristen Stewart is an unusually talent! Bravo!!

New Moon did a much better job of sticking to the story line from the book. This movie was excellent it keep you going all the way to the end. Now I just can't wait to see Eclipse

I'm happy they didn't butcher this movie and Kristen Stewart made an attempt to act well in it. It was great and had a bit of everything...humor, fear, suspense, action, romance, hot guys!!! I would def go see it again, and again, and again!

Although the croud was a little roudy, which was what to be expected; the movie was awsome. There are so many words that i can use to descibe this movie, but i am speechles because it was so amazing! It blew me out of my seat each second i watched it and i found that the whole time my legs were shaking with excitment! I would have to say that New Moon was better than the first movie and i have to see it at least 100 more times!!!!!

The actors were amazing, the locations were the movie was filmed were amazing, overall the plot was great. The sequence of events that took place in the movie were also pretty good. The way the movie ended just makes all the viewers anticipate the 3rd and 4th parts of the Twilight Saga.

I loved New Moon until the end.Jacob's abs we awesome as well as his humor!Edward was looking good as usual.Bella did a good job with the depression(had me crying) Bella and Edwards' love for each other was the focus in twilight and Hardwicke depicted that love in the movie.As for New Moon not so.Volturi were very intense, serious and scary in the book. In the movie Aro steps out and speaks like he is about to tell a joke.The audience laughed and that messed up the entire fight scene.Totally stole the moment for me.It's kinda hard to feel heartfelt when Aro was jumping around like a fairy.The Volturi needs some work for Eclipse but I still can't wait to see it.Reading the end of New Moon again to remind me how it should have been.

OK ummm... I didn't really like the movie it felt like to me that they put to much attention to the little thing that didn't really matter in the book and totally skipped on the interesting things like I would rather sit in the movie theater for like 4 and half hours watching the things that I felt that should be in the movie than having a short 2 hour movie and watch parts of the book and then huge gaps and then continue... I know i made sense to people who didn't read the books, but it's still disappointing for the others how did read it like me. and yes I would recommend to my friends only because they havn't read the books.

I loved this movie. Everything was better than the first movie (which I love, too). The acting, the makeup, the sets. I will definitely be seeing this one several times. Edward and Bella are the best characters of all time and I think they nailed it with the actors chosen to play them. Taylor was also great, but I am a Rob fan all the way!!! My husband even liked it and he is Team Bella. I will always be Team Edward. Can't wait for the next installment.

When first I saw Twilight, it was without reading the book, and i found it disjointed, like reading bits of text out of context. After reading the book and then viewing the DVD, I appreciated it much more. Having read the whole series now, particularly touched by NewMOOn, I waited anxiously, daily for NewMoon the film, and saw it Friday morning. It was so beautifully done, so well acted, and yet I wonder if someone who did not read the books would appreciate it as much; if perhaps it would seem too disjointed to those who do not know and love the characters and themes. For me, it went by too fast, and I plan to see it again and again.

Thoroughly enjoyed the movie and plan to see it at least once more before it leaves theaters. I was actually pretty impressed that they stayed so much closer to the book's story than Twilight did. Obviously, the books will always be better, but this was very entertaining. I thought the special effects and acting were fantastic. Can't wait for Eclipse next summer!
