The movie wasn't as good as the first. A little slow. Maybe it had something to do with these being my least favorite of the three? I don't know. Was just a bit disappointed. Looking forward Eclipse though :)

I thought this movie was better than the first. You got a great look at the dynamic of Jacob and Bella which sets everything up for the last book. Of course, this movie just enforced the love between Bella and Edward. I can't wait for Eclipse on 6/30/10.

New Moon was absolutely amazing. This one stayed to the book, obviously with peices out, but that has to happen. I was hooked the entire time. My eyes did no leave the movie screen. I could not believe how well everyone did is this movie.
This really is th ebest movie ever. Lets hope Eclipse and Breaking Dawn do the same.
Everyone needs to see this movie. Even if your not a huge fan you cannot argue that is was great!

In this movie they downplayed the whole angst and torture Bella had in trying to choose between edward and jacob. The torture she felt is what made the whole book fascinating and made you on the edge of your seat rooting for your favorite man. You are either team jacob or team edward and they made it as if it were so insignificant when it is integral to the plot of the story. Twilight was definitely better! But I'm still a fan!

Saw New Moon 2x on opening day. Was well worth the wait! better animation than the first...they did so much better with this movie. Can't wait to see Eclipse in June!

I have to admit the movie was good, but since I have read the series, I already knew what was going to happen and the books have so much more detail than the movie! I know they can't put the entire book in the movie, but there was alot left out. Also the trailers made the movie seem action packed, it wasn't. Only a couple of very short action scenes and the rest was more like a drama. I was a little disappointed, but I will always be a twilight fan!!! Just prefer the books over the movies, and i'm not even a reader..lol

I absolutely loved this movie. The book was boring cause Edward didn;t come out that much, but the movie was amazing. Not to mention Taylor Lautner's hot body! loved it so much i want to see it again!

WOW New Moon was amazing, i read the books first, and i must say they did a great job! THey didnt change or add useless scenes like they did in twilight. The whole cast did a wayy better acting job! Plus taylor laughtner looked amazing in the movie!

This movie was great. I thought it was much better than the first one. Movie theater went wild when Jacob takes off his shirt and shows off those amazing abs. The scenes were beautiful. It was very exciting and romantic. I was sad when the credits popped up and the movie was over. It went by so fast, it felt like it had just begun. It was great to take my two children (preteen and teenager) to see a movie that I didn't have to worry about bad language and scenes that were not appropriate for them to see. Thanks Stephanie Meyer for writing such wonderful books. I can't tell you how long it has been since I have watched a PG-13 film with my children and not had to cover their ears due to the language.

Loved the movie, and the director, and the fact that there was humor, with Charlie, and others, it went along with the book, and am looking forward to June and the next segment of the movie...but I was not happy with the ending I mean I thought the film broke...and the change in all the actors was good, they all seem to have grown up, matured and that helped with the movie..Dakota did a fabulous job as Jane...all in all I went away happy, and wanting more, and unable to stop talking about it...

I'm an avid Twilighter since the books came out, I couldn't put them down. I bought my tickets for New Moon as soon as they went on sale. The movie was 1,000 times better than the first. I was in awe of Taylor and how great his acting skills are he really really surprised me. Just a little thing to look at when they are standing in the rain there is steam coming off of him and she is freezing, great great use of visual techniques. I can't wait to go see it again. I will definitely buy it when it comes out!

The storyline kept with the books, more or less; it was more faithful to the book than Harry Potter's. Pretty good acting, especially Jasper's attempts to eat Bella. The only fault I find in this flick is the CG effects. The wolves weren't all that realistic--FFVII: Advent Children was more realistic. The sparkle effect of Edward+sunlight sucked bootie compared to Twilight's version; not multi-facetted jewel refraction, just glitterbomb. The real trippy part is you see Aro (I think) with his creepy smile, and the movie pamphlet outside the theater shows the Cashire Cat from Alice in Wonderland. Those smiles are far toooo similar. >.<;

I LOVED IT!!!! In this one Edward was so much more "HUMAN" and open I loved that because he was that way in the books... All the actors did an excellent job and I loved this Director!!! It was well made, a WONDERFUL Love story, it had humor and it was great!!!!

The scene changes and special effects were absolutely beautiful. The end of course left me hanging but in a way that makes me wanna see it again and i simply cannot wait until Eclipse. I loved how it ws so true to the book with very little variations and i have the urge to give Chris Weitz a huge hug! The wolves were simply gorgeous though i personally am team edward (yay!) i could still appreciate the amount of work that went into making them perfect. The goodbye scene loosened a few tears and altogether i am pleased.

Having read all 4 books and re-read them I'll be the first to say that the first movie based on Twilight- was horrible. New Moon however, is AMAZING!!! I've seen it twice in the 1.5 days since it's opened and I'm dying to go again. I love this director and I love that they kept it so much closer to the book! Jacob shirtless doesn't hurt either ;o)
