It was a good movie i think twilight in general gets overrated...a lot due to the male teens teenage girls think they are in love with. But this movie was good, not as much action as the first but explained more and new secrets revealved. I saw it at AMC mainstreet power and light KC. best theater in the world. worht the 25 dollar tickets for sure.

this movie is so great! i have seen it twice and i plan on seeing it at least 2 more times. I did read the books and this movie is spot on with the book i would recomend it to everybody.

I am really happy with this movie. There were differences from the book, but I don't believe they took away from the story what so ever. I am really happy with the actors' portrayal of their characters, very much by Kristen's portrayal of Bella. I can't wait to watch it again.

The movie was a feast for the eyes. (Thanks Taylor Lautner.) It stayed true to the book and story. I enjoyed watching the relationship between Jacob and Bella develop. I thought we would see more of Voltera and the Volturi. After two hours, it left me wanting more...but in a good way. Can't wait for the next installment to come out in June 2010.

New moon was better than Twilight, but I have to contradict that and say that I was somewhat disappointed in how they skipped around in the movie from the book. I know movies can't be eactly like the book, but these movies need to not be rated PG13 and let loose and give us a *dang* good movie. There's potential here and it's being hidden.
I still love the Twilight Saga's. I just hope Eclipse doesn't skip around and shows the romance this movie is supposed to be about.

...dry, waxy, slightly moldy cheese. What a disappointment as a follow-up to its tangy and piquant first installment. Few salivating thrills, nearly no blood, and sweat that comes from heavy-lifting rather than passion make for some dull, dull, dull scenes this time around. About as delicious to savor as Kraft Parmesan.

I absolutely loved this movie! I've already seen it twice and will go for a third time very shortly. The acting has improved from the Twilight movie...I would say by leaps and bounds. I can't wait for the third movie in the series, Eclipse, to be released. If you've read the books....you will still be on Team Edward even after you see the movie!

I have been waiting for this movie for months! I am anxiously waiting the remaining ones. I dragged my husband on thanksgiving and even he was touched by the show! I was esspecially impressed with how the director handled the wolves! Wonderful!!

This movie picked up speed. The acting was amazing. Taylor outshines all the others. The directing was flawless and followed the story line from the book closely. Rob is not in this one as much but his presence is there through Bella. Definitely a movie to see more than once...I already have and I'm not a tween.

I suppose reading the book puts me at a disadvantage, knowing what happens ruins it for me. So, let's go from a different point of view.
The movie was entertaining. The eyecandy was yummy! The book was followed fairly close. I did find myself ready for it to be over though.
The best part of the movie for me was the scenes in Italy or whenever Taylor ripped his shirt off. LOL!

Very true to the wonderful book by Stephenie Meyer....Amazed at the action scenes especially the warewolf scenes...incredible. I had an incredible time and will have to go see the movie again...I was a little disapointed in the ending, how it leaves you hanging, but i know that is just to get you to want to see the new movie coming out in june....

Loved the acting from all sides. Cinematography was magical. Liked it even better than Twilight (first movie), saw it 2x in one week, can't wait to go again! The depths of emotion reached were fantastic. Most importantly it was VERY true to Stephenie Meyer's masterpiece.

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and would go to see it again. I am looking forward to Eclipse coming out next June. Bella was a strong character in this sequel. It's nice to see a strong independent woman protrayed while showing vulnerability when in love.

Although I thought twilight was better, this was a great sequel. I am one who always thinks the first is the best no matter the movie because it sets the tone. With that said, I thought NM was great.
They stuck to the story. And even though they added a couple scenes, it didn't take away from the story at all.
They blended in well, as if they were in the full draft of the book, but edited out. If you are a true fan of the Twilight series, you will enjoy this film.

I was very happy that New Moon stayed closer to the book than the Twilight movie did. I loved it. I think this movie did a good job of telling the story that it was supposed to. I can't wait for Eclipse. I was also happy that all the main actors came back, and hope they all come back to finish the series with Breaking Dawn. Good job everyone.

I thought New Moon was awesome! Twilight absolutely sucked compared to this one. I definitely liked the directors style a lot more and I LOVED that he actually stayed with the plot line of the book instead of just making things up like in Twilight. On top of a good plot there are insanely good looking guys!!! Oh my it's great. I loved the guy who played Aro, he did an AWESOME job with his character.

Certainly, this blew "Twilight" out of the water. Chris Wietz did a surprisingly impressive job of being faithful to Stephenie Meyer's story, and delivering an experience sure to please fans of the book, and not to appease critics.

I personally thought the movie was great. I liked it way better than the first Twilight movie, but I think it's because it follows the book much closer than the first one. If you loved the second book as much as I did, then you will absolutely love the movie. I highly reccommend seeing it. My 50 year old mother has never read the books but loves to movies. So either way if you've read the books or not, it's a great movie all around. At least in my opinion.
