I also felt as many reveiwers have said that it does follow the book more closely than Twilight. You can definitely still feel the love Edward has for Bella and vice versa. I am looking forward to the next movie, I just hope we won't have to wait too long.

This movie might excite Twighlight fans, but for the rest of the general population this movie was such a bore. The problem with this movie is that it will only be great movie to its current fan base....otherwise it doesn't appeal to the masses and thus limits itself.

This movie wasn't supposed to be a comedy but my friends and I were laughing the entire time. it was so funny because the acting was terrible. The movie had a ton of hilarious one-liners. I enjoy the story line enough that I wanted to see the movie. i think what was even funnier though was how ridiculous people are about this movie! There was a fight that broke out because people cut in line, and all the shows were sold out far before the time of the show. I just can't believe how so many people think this is the best movie ever and the acting is so horrible!

I was really disappointed with Twilight: The Movie so I was nervous to see New Moon. I loved the book so I was hoping the movie would be good, too. It was!! I loved it! I can't wait to see it again! The special effects were a lot better as was the acting. I can't wait to see Eclipse!

I saw this Friday night with my 11 year-old daughter. She's read the first two books and was eager to see this movie. While she is too young to recognize the obvious targeting of the teen demographic with Jacob shirtless through half of the movie, she was complaining that she was bored. She loves the books but could probably do without the movies. I'm guessing it has to do with imagining the story with your own vision as opposed to watching the director's cut. In any event, it was okay for the preteens. For adults, there are worse movies out there. I'm sure the adults can find something entertaining about it, but there probably wouldn't be a consensus on what that "it" is.

It followed the book much better than the first movie. The action and dialogue were better as well. The way it was filmed, the color and settings seemed much more real this time. I would highly recommend it!

I don't ever go to the movies or read books. But when i saw Twilight, i knew i had to go see this one! I couldn't wait for it to come out on DVD because everyone would be talking about it. It was excellent! I would definitely watch it again. Poor Jacob! Now i can't wait till the next one to see what goes on.

As a person that has read all the books, I thought the movie was actually better than the book. New Moon was my least favorite book because of the lack of action until the climax. The movie added the needed action, not many boring parts. For anyone that has read the books you will not be disappointed, none of the important parts of the book are left out

This movie was amazing. It to me was much better then the first one. I Definitely recommend seeing it in theater , because although it's long it keeps you interested the entire time. They did a great job making this and i would see it again and again.

Loved this movie! Their acting got better and the computer graphics were excellent. Stayed true to the book but would have like them to bring up "imprinting" since that is a "need -to-know about" part for books 3 and 4. Can't wait to buy it and for June 2010 to come around! Twi-Moms Rule!

As the previous movie I was not impress with the story. Special effects were a lot better, but still lack the same emotional connection between Bella with Edward and Bella with Jacob that.you would get if you were reading the books. Like my previous review for Twilight, same for New Moon. The relationship between Jacob and Bella wasn't there. Just as Edward and Bella in the previous movie. The only reason why I would say this movie is little better than the prevous would be the special effects; the story line fo the movie is extremly week just as the first Twilight movie. Would I recomend this to friend? ONLY to readers of the books. If you have not read the books, I would suggest not to go see it and wait untill it comes out on Blu-Ray.

The movie was awesome! Stayed true to the book! Stephanie should be very proud. I'm personally Team Edward ~ but Jacob's part was played out very well in the movie ~ great action ~ great dialogue ~ great special effects ~ proud of how Kristin, Rob and Taylor are handling the overwhelming fame from the Twilight series ~ can't wait to see Eclipse and Breaking Dawn!!! FANTASTIC!!! Go see it!

I have been a growing fan ever snce I saw the first movie. Since then I have read all the books. I was certainaly not disapointed with this movie. It followed the book well and it left me wanting more, even though I know how the saga ends. Because they had a larger budget for this movie, you could definately tell a difference in the resources they were able to use to enhance the action scenes and the wolves. I urge everyone to continue to support the movie so they will have enough resources to make the third and fourth installments that much better! Enjoy!

While the movie felt the full 2 plus hours it was extremely enjoyable. This director and this movie actually seemed to pay attention whereas "Twilight" seemed to just be a rush to make a movie. I was excited through the movie just as I had been with the book. The wolves looked great! The vampires actually looked like they did when described in the book. The casting was perfect! Looking forward to the next installment.

Overall a very good movie. Just like in Twilight, there are sometimes where the acting seems more B quality. The effects were done really well. I think Dakota Fanning is not a good Jane. Great actress, but I would rather have seen her as one of the good guys in the 4th movie. And bring tissues if you are a crier or recently had your heart broken.

I kept waiting for it to pick up. Nothing in the first 1/2. Not that it never did but it was the back half and only for a few moments that anything new, interesting or action oriented happened. Certainly not enough to carry a whole movie. I felt like it as a 17 min movie dragged out with many, many over-acted scenes. Our audience laughed many times due to how unrealistically (and unnecessarily) corny the acting was. I truly loved the first one so not sure how they lost almost all the mojo on this one. Our group of 4 all agreed.
