Enjoyed the movie thoroughly. Very glad to see some action besides the drama. The additional characters from the book add so much more to the movie. The book had almost too much angst in it and I was glad to see the Director handled it with just the right amount. Will definitely see again and recommend.

The wonderful thing about the Twilight Saga, first in the books and now again with the movies.... You just can't get to the next installment quick enough. This was a wonderful piece of work from Chris Weitz. Everyone did a wonderful job on screen. I can say that if you even remotely enjoy the movies, you REALLY need to read the books. The movie is wonderful in portraying the emotion, but the details will never be transferred on screen, there just isn't enough time to get it all in. READ the BOOKS, you will be thrilled that you did. Now awaiting Eclipse. Bring it on!

When i went to this i already had high expectations. I saw this with my boyfriend who has never read the books and i only had to explain a little to him. Some parts were a little cheesy, but they could not have been done any way else than that. I absolutely loved Taylor, Kristen, and Rob's acting. Kristen's made me cry, Taylor made me start seeing Jacob's side in a different light, and Rob made me see his love for bella (even though i already knew how it great it was). Great movie and i recommend it to others as long as you have seen the first movie already to know the background story.

This was a wonderful sequal to the first Twilight movie. They did a wonderful job with the movie for the fans of the books and those who have never read them. I would say that the Vampire traits (sparkling and eye color) that are expressed in the books were also much more pleasing in this movie. This movie over exceeded my expectations. The Volturi were wonderful. I would recomend this movie to anyone.

I would say this movie is as good as the first. I liked it. Definately buy your tickets online to avoid long lines. It was a little silly sitting in there with all the little girls screaming when the boys came on. The love story is very sweet. The end was a little disappointing, but it made me want to read the book, so it did it's job. I thought the actors for the parts were correctly cast. They are the ones attracting all of the money.

The movie was an excellent sequel to the first. It's better to read the book first, then the movie books leave so much to the imagination, and the movie leaves it all up to someone elses interpretation. Taylor portrayed Jacob perfectly. In the book I was always amazed at how Jacob kept himself in line, and the movie solidified my feelings on Jacob.... I felt so horrible for him even when he was begging bella to stay, and she just left. It was ripping my heart out. I agree with the other reviewer about the scene where Edward leaves Bella, it could've been so much more. Scenes where the camera seemed to rotate around made me dizzy... could have done without that, especially after the first one.

The movie and the books are similar, however, a lot has changed, I'm gathering due to time constraints. Things that happen in the movie never happened in the book on several occasions. I would recommend seeing the movie but the books are definately worth the read.

This movie was too drawn out and lacked any substance. So much potential, so many missed opportunities to make a good movie. Focusing on the sappiness was a waste of time. I can’t believe audiences would be so superficial to believe this movie had any value outside of dragging screaming teenage girls into the theaters for an Abercrombie and Fitch live action movie. The intensity approached during the visit to the Volturi could have and should have been the pace of the entire movie but a lack of screen writing skills dissuaded that.

Twilighters won't be disappointed in this movie! Better than Twilight technically: better direction, slightly better acting, more faithful to the book, and much better special effects. Taylor Lautner really shined in this movie, for me even outshining Robert Pattinson. A must watch!

Because I have not read the books, I came at this film from a differant place.
I loved the special effects and the camera work.
Being a seqirel I think this could have stude on it's own. They didn't refer to the first to much. So anyone seeing it could get and good idea of the story line from this one. The actors cemistry is great. Casting was wonderful.

I loved this movie! I was so much better than Twilight. It was action packed and included almost everything from the book. Of course, not as detailed as the book or it would be 8 hours long. I didn't think I would like the "wolves" because they looked so fake in the commercial but they were awesome and beautiful! I'm planning to go see it at the theater a second time!

I thought the movie was great. The CGI was much better than the first film. Edward's sparkles were more like I imagined, & the wolves were better than I expected. Chris Weitz did a great job and Melissa Rosenberg followed the book much more closely this time. Can't wait for the third installment to the saga.

Really enjoyed the movie though 'New Moon' was my least fave of all the books as there was not enough Edward. As a member of Team Edward, the movie just didn't have enough Edward for me. But I had to see it anyway, as I've read all the books multiple times and will see all the movies for sure. Definately would recommend the movie to all Twilight fans.

I HATED New Moon! I have never read the books nor seen the other movie, but it was by far the most boring two hours of my life!!! It was practically like a cult meeting for weirdos. I have NO idea why this stupid movie is so popular and I hated the fact that she NEVER kissed Taylor Lautner in the whole movie. Ummm, if I have to painstakingly sit and watch a movie like this I would at least like to see her kiss him. What a waste of a bod.
