I like that the characters were given more depth, and that there was more attention given to the back story. I do have reservations about the character Bella as she seems to be a bit of a twit, and I saw more passion about her beloved vampire when she was away from him than when she was with him. The cinematography was rich and beautiful. And Taylor Lautner's new ultra buff body was worth the price of the ticket alone...delicious.

It followed the book a little closer and you got to see a bit more of the Cullens, such as Jasper and Alice!
It was nice to see New Moon come to life on the big screen..obviously. My friend that I drug to it now wants to read the books after the second movie so they must have added something to intrigue skeptics.

I really liked this movie, the only detail I didn't like was the way Robert Pattinson was acting, he did not live up to the charecter Edward Cullen in the way that you couldn't believe it, also he doesn't have the charecter traits that Edward does. On the other hand Taylor lautner did an excellent job! Th movie did live up to the book, and i loved that, this movie was so much better than Twilight.

This was a great depiction of the second book by Meyer. I loved it and can't wait to see what they do with Eclipse. I was thrilled to see that they were able to keep the wolf phasing from seeming too fake. They truly did a fantastic job and kept all the important parts of the story.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon was spectacular. It was a lot better than the first because it incorporated more of the book and if you have read the book then you could relate to the movie more than the first. I was a little irritated again though because the book is amazing and adding new scenes isnt necessary. The Twilight fans love the book so creating the movie like it would be better. Still a great movie though.

I loved the movie, however, I felt that if you had not read the books, you would be very lost. I know they could not possibly put EVERYTHING in the movie, but some very key points, or scenes were left out. Taylor Lautner did an amazing job in this movie. His charachter has really grown and is much more believeable. Sorry I am still team Edward though!

Let me tell you. New Moon was one of the amazing movies I have ever seen, and you probably will hear this more than once. Usually movies are boring at some point, but in New Moon, I was on the edge of my seat throughout the entire movie. This defiantly isn’t a typical love story which makes it so interesting. You have to trust me on this, I loved it, and even my friend’s father liked it! Now you don’t hear that everyday. Robert, Taylor, and Kristen did a fantastic job. I personally would like to thank Taylor for putting so much effort in this movie. The New Moon cast and directors defiantly did a tremendous job well done. Can’t wait for Eclipse[:

My friends and I all saw this a week ago. We knew that it was going to be bad (we hate the books and Twilight was bad too), but not THAT bad. Twilight was watchable, but New Moon was a total joke. We were dying of laughter for the whole entire movie. The only bearable parts were with Jacob (until he turned into an Edward copy), but Bella's idiocy ruined it. Seriously. Her face was SO funny. This face -- :| For. The. Whole. Entire. Movie.
What made it worse was that it was taking itself way too seriously.
So... if you're looking for a comedy movie, watch New Moon. If you're looking for something intellectual and LOGICAL, go for something else. Anything else.

This movie is amazing! You will love the action and the emotion is intense. Kristen Stewart is such an amazing actress and this movie will prove that! Such a talented cast, but she outshines the rest. (No offense to the others! They all rock!) And of course you have the cute guys in there as well. A definite must see movie...one of those movies you want to go back and watch again in the theatre. New Moon was a great book and they did a great job making it a great movie!! Go see it!

Movie predictable and being targeted to pre-teens and teens, it was a success. Bella still the walking depressed and being haunted by Edward. Edward the hot and cold, yeah cold even for a vampire, lover. He loves her, is clinically cold and never loved her, then would die for her - huh - lame noodle. Jacob is buff and so totally into Bella, she'd be better off with the werewolf, less issues. Great special effects and fighting scenes but too few of them. What little there was were awesome!

Was so disappointed in the story line. Less special effects than the first movie. Ending is unbeleivably boring and short. Bella is either stupid or just a selfish inmature girl. She's now portraited as an emotional leach; when its convenient for her to be with Luke she is and then she's off to the races with Edward when he's back. Contrary to Luke's strong character he's like a love sick puppy who enjoys being kicked in the teeth by Bella and we know she doesn't give a darn because she tells him at the end it was always Edward. IS this a boring twist on desparate housewives/vampire boyfriends!!!!! Big insult to viewers intellegence.

Touched on a lot of the important parts of the book but I felt that the end was rushed. Probably couldn't include so much detail or it would be too long. The acting seemed forced, not as natural as Twilight. I liked it mainly because I like the book series. If you're not a fan, you probably won't like it.

Move over Twilight a New Moon is on the rise. In my opinion, this second installment of the saga is much more involving. The length of the movie is a true misconception. The viewer is caught up in the pace of the movie and doesn't realize the time frame. Outstanding new images appear with the further introduction of Jacob and his "friends". This is an awesome set up for #3, "Eclipse".

'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' is 95% adolescent girl/ cougar chick flick. It's long on puppy love dialog and short on action, which made it seem way too long. If you saw the trailer, you saw most of the action. The special effects are better than the previous installment, but still have a long way to go before they're acceptable. Overall, it wasn't too bad, but one part that really creeped me out was that a 109 year old man (forget for a minute how old he looks) would date a high school girl. That's repulsive to me. What was the writer thinking?

Love this movie. It brings out more of Jacobs character. More action sceens compared to the first one and I can't wait to see Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. The Director did a good job portraying the story line in the book. :) Kudos. Robert P, Kristen and Taylor did an awesome job in their character roles!

Ok I am like a lot of the people who saw this movie and loved it. I have already seen it three times!! I did have some small issues with it but it's just overthinking the book vs the movie. I did read a review that said the movie was long and drawn out...well that is exactly how the book was too so DONE and DONE! The dialogue was funny and the scene of alice's vision of the future made me laugh so hard i did fall out of my seat and a pretzel bite got stuck in my throat. Over all I think the cast did a great job preparing for their roles- I do have one more thing to say- ROBERT if tyler can put on 30 lbs of muscle- can' t you do a few sit ups so they don't have to paint your abs on? cant' wait for eclipse! see you this summer!

I was completely intrigued throughout the whole movie. Every second of it was amazing. I would definitely recommend this one to anyone. I was a bit disappointed with the ending, but only because it left me wanting more. Can't wait for the next one!!
