We absolutely loved watching this movie in IMAX! The sound and the cinematography were amazing! Loved the story line and thought the casting was spot on! We've seen it before in the theatres when it came out originally and bought the DVD shortly thereafter but when we got the chance to see it again in IMAX, well, there's just nothing that compares with this experience.

This movie is fantastic!! I've seen it four times in a theatre, most recently in IMAX which is spectacular with a huge screen and amazing sound! I was blown away! I loved the casting of the movie as this is a prequel to the original TV series from the 1960's characters. The new cast is true to the original cast and very believable and true to the original while making it completely new and fresh. The script is outstanding playing with alternative realities and time travel and Leonard Nemoy even appears for several key scenes. I loved every minute and was on the edge of my seat! See it in IMAX if you get a chance!

We couldn't wait to see this movie. Our first time to see this version of the story and it was true to the orignal series. This movie is worth watching! Imax makes you feel like you're flying through space.

I ordered a Star Trek Imax ticket online thru Movietickets.com and specifically selected center of theater seating. When I picked up the ticket at theater kiosk, the seat had been re-selected for the extreme side. It made for the most uncomfortable viewing. I felt cheated by Movietickets.com for the extra $ and wrong seat. I emailed customer service, and I've heard nothing back. Beware of their new online seating site software, it apparently has bugs in it!

I already saw this movie the first time it came out, which should make my opinion obvious, given I paid to see it again. Wonderful movie, big screen spectacle filled with great effects, beautiful scenery, and fantastic interpretation of already iconic characters. It is a perfect setup for rebooting the franchise, hopefully leading to more movies in the future. And well worth seeing in IMAX.

Actually, the 4th time, but watching "Star Trek" re-released in IMAX was even better than the first time. Such an amazing movie - the genius of it, the vision.

I can not belive this did not get nominated for Best Picture. It' is in my top 3 favorite movies of all time. Go see it.
