This was a really good documentary! It enlightened me on human and environmental violations that I knew nothing about.
I learned that Chevron/ Texaco has been up to some dirty deeds in the Ecuadorean Amazon, and the results are devastating. Whole groups of people are dying because of oil/gas related toxic waste.
Fortunately, a few legal soldiers are fighting the good fight to bring justice to a people often without a voice.
Director Joe Berlinger presents both sides of the issue in this controversial film. In the end, you get to be the judge as to who is the REAL bad guy.

This movie really made me want to somehow be of service, get involved, find my purpose in life. The passion that the plaintiffs have for this cause is contagious. The film really captures their sense that there is no other choice for them in life but to fight this fight. And wow, it is impressive! Thank you for making this movie.
