I am a huge fan of the Saw movie series. This movie did leave me a bit disappointed as I wanted more and the movie was over. I am eagerly awaiting the release of Saw VIII 3D when/if they keep up with the current schedule.
This movie has all the elements in a Saw film, blood, gore, and Jigsaw. Excellent plot and a bit of humor through out make this an awesome watch that will leave you wanting more.

I am going to say it up front. The Saw series is a guilty pleasure of mine. That being said the last couple has not really engaged me all that much. After this one though, consider me back in the fold. Longtime series editor turned first time director Kevin Greutert has recharged the series and injected something these films have lacked since the beginning: humor.
All in all this is easily the best Saw since the 2nd one and I am glad to see the series get back on track after the CSI elements of the last two films. This is Saw how I like it: down and dirty and over the top. Bring on Saw VII!

I am a saw lover! but i have to say that the storyline has switched from its original plot and its now a dragged out movie. if you have seen the others then go ahead and see this one, but i would wait til it came out on dvd and rent it, not worth movie theater money

If you're a Saw fan, you're a Saw fan, and it doesn't really matter how bad the movie is. You take them for what they are, gory, unreal, fun, certainly not to be taken seriously..but bordering on intelligent horror with a story to follow. I recommend you go see this Saw VI if you are a fan of the series. In my opinion, Saw V was my least favorite of the series. However, in order to get a complete understanding of the series you have to see Saw VI. If you saw the last five you will understandy why. Watching the original Saw up to Saw V you will see the movie progresses and goes backward at the same time. So Saw VI will reveal how Saw ends and how it originally started.

Saw - 10/10 Saw II - 9/10 (couple of stupid traps) Saw III - 4/10 (the shotgun scene... yeah...) Saw IV - 6/10 (Too much bossiness and lame choice making) Saw V - 7/10 (Good traps, slight poor acting, okay ending)
My anticipation is that quality is on the rise since Saw III. I think they've learned their lesson and 6 is going to better fulfill the psychological aspect of the original Saw. This isn't like the Land Before TIme series where they make 50 million sequels... this storyline actually progresses. I just wish they would have asked a lot more people how they could have improved the third one.
