They're trying to make this franchise a Halloween tradition while making some money. We spend money watching movies anyway. If my 10 bucks go to the SAW makers every year, I'm fine with it.
Am I impressed by this one? Not really. But I don't hate it either. What made SAW 1 so good was the unexpected twist. SAW 2 was good since we didn't know if it was the last one, and therefore again impressed by the twist. After that, the twist was a given, and there were no more surprises. But after 6 years, SAW had become a tradition. If they keep making it, I'll keep watching it. There is still 1 character I care about. For now.
I'd say go see this one and then you can judge for yourself.

Jigsaw prepares exciting games for a guy who denied him health insurance and for two predatory lenders. Apparently, the writers of Saw will be tackling national issues from now on. I found this movie to be more of the same and boring at times. Do yourself a favor and skip it entirely unless you just can't get enough of this franchise.

OK The SAW Series has done it again! I've been waiting for this movie ever since the end of Saw V. The story line was awesome, the dialogue for "John Kramer" is freakin' sweet! If your into philosophy at all this is a great movie! It was just okay. The movies' storyline wasn't bad. It did have interesting games. It did explain alot of the back sorry for the last 3 films. It had offered good realism with the insurance company screwing people left and right. I just felt like it was missing something. It did set up another sequel.

Another great twist after twist plot. Storyline was very good. A little hard to recall if you don't remember previous films, but everything fits together. Traps didn't compare to other movies but these traps weren't about the same thing. I overall recommend this movie to any saw fan.

It did not dissappoint.
This is probably the bravest endeavor for the SAW series taking a shot at a true social problem, insurance companies.
John Kramer, a normal guy is crapped on, and when he needs help to treat his cancer.. he is denied... ENTER JIGSAW!!!!
Hoffman truly goes off the deep end, Jill Tuck is involved in it all, and tries to cast the final stone in the Jigsaw legacy, Jill then performs one confusing act, an envelope is sent to a hospital in which she slips it in mail slot.... TO WHOM is this envelope addressed to?
SAW VI is one of the best in the series and I think it rivals III. SAW VII in 3D... BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a huge SAW fan and couldn't wait for this movie. Mark Hoffman is the best character the series has produced, and I think his character has come out of the shadow of Jigsaw. SAW 7 should stem off the ending, as well as the padded envelope that Jill dropped off in a doctors office in a hospital (hint that Dr. Gordon is still alive?) The ending to this movie was perfect, as it sets the plot for SAW 7. I was very happy with this movie, and would go see it again if my girlfriend liked horror movies. All I can say is, Hoffman vs. Jill Kramer, here we go!!!

I LOVE the SAW movies. SAW V was not great and I blamed it on the new director and was a little hesitant on seeing SAW VI but it was AMAZING! It may in fact be the best one of all. I saw this movie at midnight after Paranormal Activity and was completely blown away as to how much thicker the plot of this series has grown into. In my opinion this blew Paranormal Activity away. I hope the screenwriters and producers keep on going with this franchise, all thought I feel these movies are loosing viewers because a loss of interest. Highly recommend this movie to all gore loving people.

Saw 6 was a lot better than to be expected. It's hard to tell if a series of movies are going to continue to be good after it's kind of the same thing over and over again. But, the writers did not fail this time. Everything makes sense now and it ties everything together. The Saw movies have an excellent story line and it never gets old. It wasn't as scary as I thought it would be. The prehype about it made it seem as though it would be scarier. However, it was very unpredictable and the twists and turns made you think one thing, then another. The more torture the better, it would be awesome to see the torture scenes last a little longer, lol. We have seen every Saw movie, bought them as well, however, the 2nd one had way to much profanity in it. We did not purchase that.

I wish there was a 4.5 rating. The movie was better than a 4, but not quite at a 5. I enjoy the fact that the first 5 mintues in opening was better than the entire Saw 5 movie....but in hindsight, Saw 5 needed to happen in order to really bring Saw 6 to light and tie some of the other loose strings together. Anxious to see what Saw VII in 3D will be like.

I loooved this movie! I was nervous at first that it wouldn't be as good as the others but the director and writers did a great job. However, after watching this movie I could tell it was the conclusion of the Saw series. The theme was choices and it makes you think if you could choose who lives or dies what would you choose??? The storyline was helpful in making you understand everything from the beginning to where it ends. You won't be disappointed when you see this movie.

See one Saw movie and I think you have no need to see anymore. I saw the first one and this one, and I don't feel like I missed a whole lot. The premise of this one was ok though.

Saw 6 is, hands-down, the best Saw film to date. It has the same feel as Saw 3, in a sense. Instead of a singular test performed by a group, one man experiences multiple tests that put others in danger. These tests are absolutely thrilling, particularly because the subject must choose who lives and who dies. The plot is predictable yet informative. It casts the later Saw films in a different light, and things make a bit more sense. The ending is rousing and will definitely make you leave the theatre wanting more. I can't wait to see Saw VII
