What a glorious rendition of the score, and the story. Soaring singing of some of Puccini's best, and a very realistic portrayal of the time and place. Here's hoping Rolando Villazon's throat troubles are resolved soon--his tenor voice was magnificent in this production.

Superb singing, acting, direction and conducting. A recreation of Puccini's concept with singer-actors who look and sing like the Bohemians of Murger's story "Scenes de La Vie de Boheme. Even if you have heard Boheme a hundred times, this will be one of your all time favorites.

Have seen Boheme a number of times. For the first time I understood what was said between major arias. The filming, the large screen, and the closeups- all the visuals- was so overwhelming that it distracted me from the magnificent voices. But it was unforgetable.
