I think people are more adept at understanding the spectacular message of this movie during the Christmas season, although it is by no means strictly a Christmas movie. If your heart is open and in the spirit, the tale of struggle, through despair and on to redemption is both timeless and moving.

My husband and I saw "Christmas Sweater" last night as did a FULL theater at AMC Forum 30 in Michigan. We weren't sure what to expect and were pleasantly surprised! I am a Glenn Beck fan but was unaware of his acting ability and he pours his heart and soul into this one man performance. My Granddaughter got me the picture book for birthday last month and all my Grandkids loved my reading it to them. I knew the performance was great but when I saw my husband wiping a tear from his eye, I realized it was more than great...we've never considered ourselves "victims" but now strive to be "victors"! Making it a point to be someones "Russell" because Glenn makes you want to! Get there early for a seat!

Absolutely wonderful! It is such a deeply personal story by Glenn. There are so many elements that everyday people can connect with. It really gives a clear depiction of our common struggles to make it through tough times. No matter what our current storm is, we can get through it. It was one of the best events I've ever seen. I cannot say enough about the very moving performance given by Glenn Beck. I now understand fully how reading The Christmas Sweater, and/or seeing this true life account of Glenn as a young boy, would move others to having hope for the future no matter where they've been or are at this time. Listening to some of the people whose lives were literally changed and saved by Glenn's story was so uplifting. There is hope in the Lord and God Bless Glenn Beck.

Glen Beck is a genuine man of God. He walks what he talks and he gives of himself each day. This was a chance to see his heart and know his story and in this time of strife and negativity, we need real hope and real direction and this is it. If you have a chance, do not miss this opportunity. You will be blessed and hopefully motivated to reach out and bless someone else. I find it amusing that some of the negative comments on here were about things like music and acting ability when the whole point was the message. Glenn is passionate and sometimes shows emotion on his radio and TV shows. However, I was suprised by his ability to sustain that emotion for such a long time. I am sure that the story being so personal helped. The message was uplifting, and did make the point that Christmas is not about STUFF in a dramatic way that everyone can relate to. I will heartily recommend the movie and the book to friends and family.

It was amazing! I laughed, I cried! I read the book last year and Glenn brought it to life for me! After going through a divorce nine years ago, the darkest period of my life, I now have sun shining on my face and I thank God every day for taking me out of a marriage with someone who has addictions! Glenn Beck -- ultimate entertainer. Brings The Christmas Sweater to life. Beck's raw emotion is evident throughout. Tears flow easily and abundantly. I was so impressed with music, the story and the people that were willing to share their storms. I too have come through storms in my life. I have had Russells in my life. I felt such joy to see the rewards of others struggling with there storms. I have not lost a son or been really physically ill. I have dealt with depression and faced down death. I was minutes away from dyeing in a car full of carbon monoxide. A small voice had me get out of the car. I was angry with myself at the time that I could not end my life. Now I see what a tragedy that would have been for all the people I loved. I am so excited about the tea parties, the 9/12 project and I want to see what happens next.

I love Glenn Beck and watch his show as often as possible. However, even if you don't like Glenn Beck's show or his politics, don't let that stop you from seeing this wonderful performance. It is not at all political. It is a very touching story about a boy that lost both of his parents at a young age. He is angry and carrying a lot of guilt around. It is very inspirational to watch how he weathers that storm, turns his life around and becomes a "Victor" instead of a "Victim".

This movie was one of the most uplifting movies I have ever seen in my life. I went with my husband with the expectation that it would be a good show --- but walked out saying it was the most inspirational show I have ever seen. Go see this performance if you can. Take your children. This was a profoundly moving experience. My teenaged children and I, having read and loved the book, didn't know how on earth it could be performed by one man. Mr. Beck's heart and soul was on that stage, the performance was passionate and brave and true, and we will never forget it. I took my 12 year old daughter to see this last night. She had never been to a simulcast but she had seen Beck on TV, as I watched his daily program. When it was over, I asked her what she thought - she said it was sad. That sparked a discussion on the way home about faith, and life paths and joy and ultimately winning. It was a great discussion about things that matter. I personally enjoyed it all, Glenn has a powerful message.

My 17 year old senior high daughter and I went expecting Mr. Beck's wonderful talents to lift us! We were NOT disappointed at all..we had issues and this wonderful display of honesty helped us to share so warmly. Thanks to Glenn and all the wonderful talent who open their life experience to help a mother and daughter spend the night searching our hearts! loved it! What a beautiful voice the singer carries..a gift shared and appreciated! Keep it up and our prayers for you all! God Bless momjojo

I am a big Glenn Beck fan. I have been to his Christmas shows in the past....in which he's touched on the "Christmas Sweater". I have the book, but hadn't read it. The "movie" was fantastic! A little bummed they made him change the ending to be "happy" - not true to life... but understand the need. Movie really makes you stop and think about "who you are". Nice touch adding "real people" at the end in the live closing - I could totally relate (as most people probably could to at least one of the four). Keep up the great work Glenn - continue to be a VICTOR! We love you!
