This movie was very moving and an encouragement to all who may or may not be going through tough times. Because if you are not, you will..It's a part of life. Glenn was phenomenal doing the "one man show"! I don't know how he did it..amazing. Don't go expecting "snow" and "lights" and Christmas trees..it's more real than that. It can change your whole outlook, and might even save someone's life.

The Christmas Sweater is the story of learning to deal with life on life's terms. It is the story of facing the storm or fighting relentlessly to avoid it. It reminded me of me.
I watched as Glenn acted out my struggles in life. I was reminded of the greatest gift, the greatest opportunity ever presented to me - the opportunity to experience excruciating emotional pain which led to finding me, the REAL me.
Would I recommend this production? Without hesitation. It is about life's biggest choice. It is about taking responsibility, and it is one of the best dramatizations of accepting life on life's terms.

Glenn did an excellent job on this presentation. It was straight from his heart. My wife & I have been married 38 years and have had storms that range from class 1 (death of a younger brother and parents) to class 5 (I lost a lung to cancer). It's all about knowing what's on the other side of the storm... God has been good to us and Glenn has given us an even deeper realization of that fact. I was moved emotionally by this peformance. Glenn Beck is awesome. Not many people would share so openly their life and the "storms" they have come through. Glenn speaks to his audience as if he is talking one-on-one with each audience member. That is a unique quality. I thought about "storms" I have faced in life. Some I came through as a "Victor", but some I exited still thinking of myself as "Victim". Glenn and those who shared their stories inspire me to work harder at dealing with life's "storms" as a "Victor". Thank you Glenn.

The music is good, not great. The soloist's voice is pleasant and able. The direction is capable, although sometimes stilted. But, the bottom line is that Glenn had done his homework w.r.t. acting on stage, as he delivers a superior performance that kept my interest throughout, as well as the rest of the live audience with me [approx. 60 others]. The moral question is asked and answered quite effectively with no fluff, no mis-direction, and no sidetracks. I enjoyed watching Glenn's involvement, at depth, into the real/literary character[s] that he portrayed with subtle ease and total absorption.

I almost didn't go because I couldn't find someone to go with me - but I really wanted to see it - so I struggled through my "storm" of isolation and depression until I was able to force myself to go.
Glen was breathtaking and the story was and is my story as I am sure it is for others.
I am so grateful to Glen. He makes me want to be a better person.
The people who don't see this show are losing out on a beautiful two hours of their lives and an opportunity to reflect on where they have been, where they are and where they would like to be.

Amazing. Glenn Beck's performance is off the charts. I'm a big movie buff and took acting class for many years, and I know a great performance when I see it, and Glenn is OUTSTANDING. There really are not words to describe his performance, you simply must see it. This is not the "political" Glenn you see on Fox every night. Nothing political about it. It is pure raw emotion, and Glenn pours himself into his characters (all EIGHT of them!). Unbelievable performance. Just see it, you will not be sorry.

Great experience and very moving. Glenn did a wonderful job of proving how life's "storms" can be weathered. Brought forth memories and emotions from when I was told I had breast cancer and how I handled it. Made me realize I had weathered many storms in my life. Guess that means I am a "victor." I was completely speechless all the way home. We went to the Pickerington, Oh, Dec. 3 showing and if I could utter a response I choked up again. We were the only ones that brought our 13 & 17 yr olds, and they thanked us for bringing them. What a true gift, the best gift, forgiveness and redemption of our sins. Glenn did an excellent job showing compassion, understanding and love to his guests. I read the book before, and it will be a gift until the DVD comes. To God be the Glory and His Son Jesus Forever! It was an incredible co-incidence that before seeing The Christmas Sweater the ground was completely bare. After coming out of the theatre in Davenport, Iowa there was a light dusting of snow on the ground. My husband and I attended, quite happy we had the foresite to buy our tickets online as when we arrived many disappointed folk were told they were sold out.
It was an amazing show, moving and enlightening and a lesson to be learned by all.

Glenn has a profound way of writing in a way that you "get" what he's meaning. And it gives you hope and joy.
Obviously, I loved the show, am listening to the book on audio and can't recommend it enough.

This was fantastic. I took my daughter, son-in-law, wife, and work friend. Very inspirational. Glenn Beck is not only a brilliant political analyst, but a great stage actor. I think everyone can get something positive from this presentation that they can carry with them through life.
